Yup - great product. I had several hollow tiles I kind of just ignored ... until one more appeared just recently and wife said fix em. Googled hollow tiles, found this. Follow these directions - perfect repair. EASY. Great product.
I just bought a condo with tile throughout. There are loose tiles everywhere. The thought of removing and replacing the floor was causing me not to sleep at night. I found this video and decided to try Fix a Floor. This stuff works! Yes it’s thin and messy, but it gets the job done.
Did you do it yourself or get help?
@@donnamaco1 I did it myself , but be prepared, the glue is very thin and it gets everywhere. I made several holes around the loose tile, but never saw the glue coming out of the adjacent holes. That being said, the tiles still adhered after I added the weights and let dry overnight. I’m sure this is a temporary fix, so far it’s been a few months, I don’t expect years though. Give it a try.🤗
Just went out and bought some. Can't wait to fix this problem!
Did it work, thanks
I there. I just want to say that i did enjoy this video very much. Although i"m residing in South Africa and i could not find that product "fix a floor" around here. I used a product called Anchor crete and i then just followed your idea of drilling the holes as you showed in this video. You safed me a lot of time and money. Thanks again.
I used clear silcon and it's worked perfectly!!
Takealot stocks it. Just bought some, but it did not work for me
worked like a charm on my tile floor. Every tile has trowel lines under it so the glue goes in the lines and voids. If you are not having any glue go under the tile floor you may not have drilled far enough down in the grout. Really was as simple as the video. total cost was $18 for me as opposed to hundreds having a professional do it

Nothing more than a band-aide temporary fix. If even just one tile comes loose you can bet the entire floor is in the process of failing. That floor tile was installed improperly from the beginning.
Does this work on wooden floors is it flexible?
@@budrowe176 One tile may have had insufficient grout used. Rest of floor may be good.
@Iv Art Mike you there buddy?
@Bud Rowe Might be a true statement about an improperly installed floor failing. However there are circumstances where this is still a great solution rather than a band aid. For example we ran into a situation where a heavy hot water leak had caused the tiles near one side of the room close to the leak to eventually become loose. This perfectly fixed the problem. Has been good for years with no repeat loose tiles nor grout cracks.
Oh well, how easy it looks in this video. The battery drill cut through the grout like butter. In my case my black & decker power drill was overheating and it wasn't even able to cut through the grout. I managed to get one hole on one side but under the grout there is an even stronger material (maybe the glue they used?) making my drills overheating and smoking!
Anyway the grout was broken on a side where I managed to remove it and same for the under-material. I am not sure though my tiles have any space beneath for this glue to go in.
He visto a un amigo hacerlo en su casa y le quedo de maravilla !!
I never thought I'd say this, but the music is too good for this video
So I just had tile laid about 6 months ago. They did under layment/cement back board, but now a couple spots are creaking. Is this something I should look into?
I appreciate this video is for a particular product, but providing the filler used is "loose" enough (to squeeze into the holes you create), I'm assuming *any* decent "filler" product will work for this kind of thing..? Great idea / solution, thanks.
Hi !
Nice Video demonstration !
I had the same situation in two small areas in my newly laid porcelain tile floor in the Bathroom.
I drilled in two places only so that the sealing liquid didn't come straight out of the adjacent hole instead spreading across the loose area underneath the tile.
I used a Squeezy Bottle from a woman's Hair Dye Kit (cost nothing) and filled the Squeezy Bottle with Unibond Universal PVA.
The Squeezy Bottle had/has a Screw Cap on the pointed end which was/is almost exactly the same size as the drill hole.
The uncapped pointed end of the Squeezy Bottle was then inserted into the drilled hole and squeezed until the Unibond PVA started to ooze out of the other drill hole.
Afterwards, a quick wipe with a moist sponge and job done.
Left to set of for 24 hours then re-grout the small drill holes - virtually invisible repair,,,,!!!
to late for me,i see this video after I removed 10 tile, put new sand, but this is good video, thank you....
I was just about to hammer out my floor tiles. I'm going to give this a try
Thank you, thank you, and thank you!!! My floor is perfect now... and I did NOT have to take a single tile out :) Thank you again!
How's it holding up?
Real Picture
Your floor is far from “perfect”. If you have loose tiles your floor was improperly installed and is now on its way to a overall and certain failure in time.
Iv Art can’t really seem to find a long term followup on this product
@@budrowe176 I have a few porcelain large 18x18 coming lose. It was installed property by someone with over 20 years experience and I had another tile guy coming to take a look and I was told the installation was perfect but due to the type of tile and the heated floor this happens. So, not always the fault of who installed but the combination of material and heated floor sometimes. I've just used the fix a floor today and will see how it will cure now. Hope it fix the problem.
Hi sir How's it holding up?
Great little tip. Will have to try myself.
Wow very nice job 👏👍 and very good information to any flooring problem 👍
Thanks for the useful video, despite the musical torture..
Order product online from Home Depot and it worked great. No more noisy tiles.
Product smells and looks just like Elmer's Glue. Hmm?
Robert Hennessey
You have been deceived.
It wood glue in a tube at about 9 times the price.
What size drill bit? Also is this a good solution if the tiles are loose from small amounts of water over time that has now been rwsolved & the tiles are now loose?
works well with a Large Syringe and a PVA/Water mix...
Video please :))
I have many hollow spots in bathrooms with large 18x24 tile that's maybe 1/8" thick, but the grout line is so thin it's practically nonexistent. Could I drill directly into the tile and fill from the center? Does fill-a-tile raise cracked tile too?
Curious if you managed to find a workaround. I have a similar situation and was thinking of using a razor blade to scrape out the grout and use a syringe to pump in the solution. Were you able to use fix a floor on your tiles?
If Fix-A-Floor seeps up through the grout it means the grout is already getting loose and tiles surrounding will eventually become hollow and loose. Fix-A-Floor will rebond those hollow and loose spots even in the grout. Cleans up easily with sponge and water and dries clear...
So I tried to do this but drilling straight down doesn't open up the underside of the tile. I think there is grout that got pushed underneath. Either way I put this stuff in and it just comes back out. I've tried 4 different holes all where I hear hollowness near the edge. Any thoughts?
Don't drill straight down, go at an angle then use a dental pick and feel around the hole you drilled, once you find the hollow spot then you can pump the material in, usually the grout keeps you from finding the hollow spot.
Thank you very much 😊 to give aqurate solution.
But sorry we don't have 'fix a floor' in india.
My tile was loose where the tile met the wall, I just used a calk gun and put silicone/calk along the wall. Hopefully that works.
It looks really easy and I’ll let everybody know if it works if it does I love the guy
What's the verdict? It's been 4 months. Lol
Any updates?
It does work I would try it
Good video but, u talk too much. Ha
You should explain why the placement of the heavy pail of water. I guess this couldn't help lippage?
i just moved into an old house that was built in 1961 and is built over a crawlspace. the tiles that are laid in the kitchen are loose and noisy. im going to make sure and pick some of this up and see if it works.. thanks
don't worry about it - i'll fix the floors for you :)
+Nikos V no thanks i got it. lol

+Nikos V my husband will be repairing it. ty anyway

lol! lucky man!... well I do hope it all goes well and thank you for taking the time to reply.... But if the floor repair fails and you need a strong healthy guy of Mediterranean descent to fix it... i'm here for you :)
I love it worked for my bathroom
Great video. Thanks for sharing.
It is very good and effective process.
Find that hard to believe it works so easy all the thin set under the tile you would think it would prevent it from flowing underneath so easily
That was the best. Helped me out ina pinch.
AL Pereira any updates on how it’s holding up?
Is this stuff easy to remove if i do decide to replace my tile floor?
Does this last?
Thanks . Excellent. Good job .
Thanks for this tip!
Is there a similar product in Australia?
Can this work for a group of tiles that are so loose that they are detached, already raised from the ground?
What gets me is that without knowing they admit it can’t work. ( It levels out). So it loses any contact it may of had with the bottom of the tile as it levels out. For something like this to work it must expand to some degree to stay in contact with the tiles. And if your rely on the trowel makes to direct the product how I the world do you know where it will run? So many things wrong with this.
can you explain this a bit better? Im confused and having trouble visualizing what you are saying may go wrong.
The damn Music give me chills .
I used regular concrete bond and a plastic bottle with a spout. Did about the same way and it made it solid again. My wife likes to roll around on a office chair in the kitchen and the places she goes to had that problem. I just poked a hole with a nail.
love this track!
watch at 1.5x speed for some nice music

Repair grout
sounds the same, just faster.
nice dear
The soundtrack rocks!
Does it work on the floor with Radiant heat?
the soundtrack is pretty gangsta.
Please let me know the place from where I can buy. What is the Name of the product. Is it available in hardware store at Tiuchirapalli
Thank you very much!!
Watch the video from the start. The drill goes through the grout as it’s already drilled. The areas are clearly visible before the chalk line is drawn to indicate loose areas.

Can this be used over underfloor heating!?
I came here because of the song in the ad, its really niiiiice
hi, can fix-a-floor is also applicable for GRANITE floors as well? Several of my granite floors are now loose and poops up. Please let me know. thanks
Pops up vs poops up
I’m from malaysia....where to find this product?
This is awesome! 👏
What to do in cases where there are no grout spacers between tiles (joined edge to edge)?
Cut a really small hole in the filler tube.
Your f#^#ed!
Wow it's so easy!# its work but easy
Can u use this to self level
So what to do if the tiles are tight up to each other?
My question exactly
Which one best for floor tiles?
Nice brother, that's easy
Wow,thx for the trick!
brilliant. Thanks.
What’s with the frog man logo ? Did someone from the UDT days invent this stuff ? I’m just curious. I repaired a pool table for an old original UDT guy aka a frogman I’m 34 years old and was only about 28 when I met him he got a real kick out of someone my age knowing about the UDT guys. He had some newspaper clippings and photos hanging around mentioning UDT so I asked him about it, it was really cool you could see he got excited just mentioning it.

Is this just PVA Glue in a silicone tube?
It's silicone in a silicone tube.
Does this solidify like if there is big gaps under the tile
NoesisAndNoema Thank you! Do you have any other recommendations?
What is the compound made out of?
Link to buy the sealant paste?
Hi I am from Malaysia. How can I buy this Fix A Floor adhesive? Was informed products not shipped to Malaysia.
En costa Rica. Venden ese producto ?
Update: the trick is to be SURE there is no thinset near the grout hole you drill. I had to make 5 holes til I found one that went through!
Thanks for that tip, good thing I haven't grouted yet!
Nice cool music.
Would this work on wall

10/10 for music.
Which paste bro ?
How far down do you drill?
If only it was this easy. The truth is most holes it doesnt allow you to push any into.
Is it available in iraq
You needed to knock on it so we'd know it worked!!! If it worked, Awesome! Guess we'll never know!
Moni
The stuff came out of each of the opposite holes he applied the product in which is confirmation that it almost certainly would have worked well.
Carmen Flores
That’s not how it works Carmen. Knocking on the floor would still result in a hollow sounding report and would prove nothing.
So a hack laid the floor
Ok I have a question, will this work inside the shower? I had my shower redone a couple of years ago and for some reason the grout inside my shower has come out in some places, so I can tell water is getting underneath them. would this help?
+poisnivy1231 it's not grout..try regrouting your shower.
Regrout... If you have long term water damage, you need to rewall and retile. This will do nothing for water damaged underlying issues. Besides, you have to regrout after anyways.
Nice music
Still wet enough to wipe away with a sponge after it cured????? Hmmmm!
it wasn't cured at that point. probably a 24hr total cure time.
@@digitalblueprintdesigns7607 the instructions state 15 minutes after filling the cavities.
Where can buy fix a floor?
I bought the 30 oz. Tube all was good until fix a floor started poring out the wrong end of the tube. I'd say it was defective.
Where you got this tube

How far into grout do you drill?
About 6 feet is good
@@marconeill9510 6 feet?! 😲 Surely not...
Wo kann man es bekommen?
Where is this sold? I can't seem to find it at Home Depot or Lowes.....
This video is a little deceptive. Unless your tiles are very loose (like you can remove them by hand) the product will not go under the tiles as easily as it looks here. Mine was on a slab and it was impossible for it to go under the tiles. Most of the stuff was forced out the tube top. Now I will try to remove some grout and try again.
+philipfm worked fro me and my tiles weren't lose just hollow. 16 inch tiles on slab.
+Mike Jones glad to hear it.
probably depends on hot deep the notches are in the cement, if the cement is thin and tiles pressed in firmly then yeah this probably won't work.
How deep did you drill your holes. Too deep won't work. Too shallow won't work. Must be deep enough just alil past the tile thickness.
philipfm . ऑअःच
Liquid nail works just the same. I've tried and it worked going on 2 years. And my spot is where everyone steps on getting in and out the shower. I love liquid nail I use that shit on everything I'm going on 44 and started working at 16 and I mean I had some fucked up dirty ass jobs lol. No desk it's just not me and no offense to anyone out there that does so. Whatever pays the bills and keep everyone fed your responsible for. But it's Sunday so for Deacon moment, but try liquid nail. God bless my children lol. And seriously be safe seriously. Like Ben Stiller Foucker out
Thank you Mike --I will try a $2.99 tube and see what happens. Though you should watch your FKN mouth.

Why the background music reminds me of the x-files?
Hi There,
Is your product available in Canada?
I bought it from a Home Hardware store in BC
Why am I watching this ? After the divorce my x wife owns everything and her new boyfriend is content with living on all the hard work I put in to that house ! I don’t have a house anymore , 3 bathrooms , 7 bedrooms , parking for 4 cars !! Ahhh! That was the life !
Now another man is enjoying it !!
