I was part of the crew coming in on the second a350. My friends were on the first one that landed. It was a crazy day at BGI with 5 virgin flights in on that day. Was incredible. Thanks for capturing this. I’ve shared with all the crew on that flight.
So, I flew Virgin to Barbados. The runway lights weren't working at Grantley Adams Airport, so we were diverted to Antigua over night. No compensation from Virgin. They're rubbish.
It's crazy that Virgin has 39 planes, and 5 of them were in Barbados at once. That's 13% of their fleet in Barbados. TUI has 13 Dreamliners, and it's not uncommon to see 4 or 5 come in to Barbados at a time.
