Kind of sad, but very beautiful. The original reason why this Rocklin’ 1000 group formed in 2015 was to ask the Foo Fighters to come play in Cesena, Italy🇮🇹. And here they are paying a tribute to Taylor and FF.
I agree, this is amazing and awesome, but there seems to be a little more subdued, perhaps sombre feeling compared to the original Rockin' 1000. Its like they're all there celebrating making music, but there is a pain quelling the absolute joy of the first.
Thank you for every hour you all put into this and I bet there was many many hours. Heck I've watched it 5 times already, I needed a moment of humanity and you delivered.

I Met Taylor about 15 years ago and through a confluence of circumstances ended up having dinner and a long conversation with him. He was kinder to me than he had any obligation to be and it makes me think that every good word or kind story I heard about the guy is probably true. I had never been emotional about a celebrity dying until that Friday night that I heard Taylor died. I was a wreck for a while and ever since then I don’t think a day has passed where I haven’t thought about his music, his demeanor and how he remembered me when I saw him again down the road about a month after I met him the first time but I wasn’t able to stay after a Coattail Riders show and he greeted me with a “dude, what the hell, I thought we were going to hang out after the show”. I made sure to stay after the show that night and he treated me like an old friend. The world lost a phenomenal musician, but I think we lost an even better guy.
It’s been a pleasure to perform in this amazing Stadium and be part of this amazing tribute to the great Taylor Hawkins, Thank you Rockin’1000 for to make it happen 🖤

It's so many voices... Once you all start singing, almost a minute in, anyone could feel the emotion as loud as the words. This looks like it was a concert where everyone was in the band, like the entirety of the "audience" was musically talented and performed at the show they went to go see, with as much grace and discipline as the band they went to see, every single person rocked that night.
