6:45 For anyone confused about why Goku was fatigued for so long, the player used their "Reforço!"/"Boost!" to win the clash. You can see all three bars to the left of "Boost!" ignite at 6:37, indicating that he would've used three bars of Ki to use more power in the clash.
Unfortunately, Goku was nearly out of ki after using his ultimate blast, so he burnt out.

Dang idk how i feel about characters breaking dimensions in beam clashes that arent supposed to be strong enough to do that. Like recreating goku and vegeta beam clash i dont want the dimension background thing. Hopefully they make it character specific

Z early goku and raditz beam clash should not break the dimension! they need to fix that when weaker characters beam clash we see the stage in the background.

I think it’s just a cheeky way of being able to ignore the actual positioning of the characters during the clash. It allows them to essentially play a cutscene and ignore environments and position. I could be wrong tho
Did you also notice that during the story mode, the character's moveset changes to give them the moves they would have in canon at the moment of the fight?
For instance, this Goku in the Episode Battle is Goku (Early) and we know already that his ultimate is the low-tier spirit bomb. But since he wouldn't know it at this point during the fight, he has a Super Kamehameha as his ult instead.
That’s how it was in Kakarot as well.
@@jojoa694 Kakarot's a different case, however. That's a story based rpg. It only makes sense that it's that way. In the old Tenkaichi games, even in story mode, the characters had their latter moves even if it breaks canon.
Same goes for Mid goku during the SGF trailer. He does a super kamehameha as his ultimate instead of his classic angry kamehameha

6:28 So either characters have semi-customizable movesets or this is a story exclusive Ultimate. Because we've already seen footage of Goku (Z-Early)'s Ultimate, and it's the Spirit Bomb he used on Vegeta.
Yes, I noticed that too. I don't think this is an story exclusive ultimate because the player brings up the attack menu and meteor combination is there too. As if this is was an even earlier version of Goku? Why would they create an entire animation for meteor combination just for the story mode?
Most likely Semi Customizable moveset it seems like they're going have Goku (Early Z) also have Teen Goku's moveset at the end of OG DB
I hope it's customizable. We have seen Blue Goku use two ultimates, but I thought maybe his just changes when he goes into Kaioken.

steedoj I don’t know if you know this about about assault vanish but it gives you gogeta blue a light stamina break after knock back and if you use with your CaC with wild stinger it’s a loop combo you should try it out

Sparking Zero is my childhood dream, been playing BT3 since I was 10 this game is gonna be pure fire, that being said, I wish we get to see Vegito or Gogeta get Ultra Instinct in Sparking Zero, I liked that idea so much that I just made a Ultra Gogeta theme on my channel, check it out if you like metal!!

dimension shouldn't break with these tier characters.. also goku starting out with a normal kamehameha then ending with a one hand kamehameha is obviously a glitch that needs to be fixed.. also having everyones aura in shintani style is a little lazy.. only super characters or the broly movie characters should have that style .. Z characters should have the traditional spikey flame style

@nathanwhite704 tenkaichi had beam struggles like the show where you'd see one side get bigger, then maybe the other side overpowers it. Sparking zero puts a million colored particle effects out there between two skinny beams and twirls the camera around. Doesn't hype me up, just makes me dizzy.

There must be a lot of technical problems with giving Goku Early a Full Nelson/SBC ultimate. Even with Raditz he clips theough his hair.
3:44 Finally the special beam cannon. Piccolo is in my top 3 favorite dragon ball characters and I’ve been waiting to see it in action. We had only seen the cutscenes with the attack and a snippet of its startup in the reveal trailer. I was hoping someone had gotten gameplay of it but no luck, only his supers, till now. I’m very happy about this. Sorry for the long comment, just was very happy with seeing it.
Think how sparking neo improved the combat and added such a deep story mode on top of the original foundation.
The sequel to this might not have improved models, but may come with an explorable world and comprehensive story mode, along with smoother gameplay overall

Teen Goku confirmed, because Goku (Z - Early) has Kamehameha, Kaioken Attack and Spirit Bomb in Sparking Zero as seen by old gameplay.
This Goku that's up against Raditz has Kamehameha, Meteor Combination and Super Kamehameha. That's the same moveset Goku had when he went up against Piccolo at the World Martial Arts Tournament.
This probably also confirms OG Dragonball is in the game.

As a Mexican and being a DB fan from time ago, is very disappointing that we don't get any DB game dubbed in spanish on plenty 2024. They have everything to make a deal with the offical dub actors but Bandai is not interested...

And I doubt that a Platinum Cooler and a Full power King Cold will immediately get rejected, Platinum Cooler would just be 4th form Cooler with Metal Cooler’s colors and a full power King Cold would be the same form Frieza and Cooler has.
