There's nothing more you'd want for the characters? More costumes? Better moves? Because currently Base Gotenks and Frieza Soldier both have a generic moveset. Gotenks.

Fun fact, since some of the people here following this channel are likely familiar with the Japanese promo with the two teams that had its climax at TGS: The Japanese custom battles shown here were the ideas of some of those players! I'm not sure if they actually made the battles or just had an idea and Bamco/Spike executed it for them, but: The Jiren battle was Kazunoko's, who wanted to emphasize the ability to see fights from the other side (he likely came up with this before we knew about Jiren being an episode battle character...) The Satan vs Broly fight was Pekora's idea... she just thought it'd be funny. The sort of troll content you'd expect. And lastly, the Goku v. Bardock fight was Luna's, who wanted to do something dramatic and emotional that could never happen in the series. Very nice example of how many different types of people and intentions can find fulfillment in this mode. I'm looking forward to both incredibly challenging fights previously unseen in the franchise and imaginative fanfic coming out from the community. This mode really feels like Sparking Zero's hidden weapon to ensure it's a historic part of the DB gaming legacy.

Obviously can't definitively say yet, but many of the bulkier characters used to get armor during MaxPowerMode so Jiren likely does as well. Even Super Vegeta got it in BT3

Can't wait to beat the story and unlock everything, then occasionally play this game. The hype for this game is unreal. It just looks like an officially licensed BT3 mod with a Fortnite art style with some DBS characters added and some characters missing from BT3. I also have no reason to touch game modes like custom story or pvp because they don't appeal to me.
