Thank you. I just ordered one for inside the garage. I have been told when connecting wires to extend one a little past the other before twisting.
I don’t know if this will help anyone else but it was easier for me to install the wiring and plug-in plate to the floodlight cam first and have it ready to slide on to the mounting plate.

What if I want to run the wire through the wall, directly behind the mount in order to completely hide the wire? I want to do this above my garage door, through the wall, and plug it into the outlet that is on the ceiling in my garage, the same pit let that my garage door is plugged into.

Just bought one of these myself, how would you recommend installing it on vinyl siding? I’ve seen others recommend siding clips but wasn’t sure how secure those would be
