My son was just like that little boy only thinner. He never feels hungry and was slowly starving to death. Body building saved his life. He still never feels hungry, but he now eats regularly and he makes sure he's getting enough calories and protein to build muscle. I'm so grateful his haters only fueled his success instead of making him quit.

    Agree with the message.
I started at 435lbs unable to lift myself, couldn't do a pushup, a sit up or even a squat.
Now I'm 300lbs (as of today) and I can do full body weight dips. Pushups, sit ups, and squats.
It's a really hard journey and I still want to lose 80 more pounds but it's worth it. The self control I've learned has changed me a lot. Now when I see people in the gym working toward their goal, I silently cheer them on because I know they're fighting demons just like I was.

When I was in high school I went into weight training to reduce the bullying I was getting. I weighed 90 lbs and I tried to lift the bar with weights. I couldn't. The guys took the weights off and when I pressed the bar, it slammed into my chest. No injury.
The football players and wrestlers laughed as they explained that they've never seen someone who couldnt press the bar. I thought I was going to have to drop out.
One player walked me over to a really shiny bar, it looked like chrome. Probably was never used. They explained that it was the girls bar. Aluminum, and it weighed 15 lbs. I found out later that the girls didn't even use that bar. Talk about embarassing.
For a week I pressed only that bar, and the next I put weights on it. A month later I was pressing the guys bar.
Fast forward a year, I maxed out the last day with a 45 on each side. I had gained 30 lbs. I was pushing 35s on both ends for my reps. 125 lbs I was benching and I only weighed 120lbs. Best feeling ever.
I still look skinny and frail. But I've beaten some of my athletic friends in arm wrestling and grappling. Once I've heard a guy explain to another not to take it easy on me because I was way stronger than I looked.
After seeing those results, I have never let a bigger dude convince me how weak I was. I've led my own construction crews a hefted mini Ibeams up ladders. I've had several people who have made fun of my body and frame since then, but it's the one thing I know they underestimate, and it makes me feel superhuman when they do. It's fun to see their brains try to comprehend what they are seeing when I actually put some effort into it. The respect that floods in is addictive. I still can't bench or lift as much as others, but I am proud of what I did to accomplish it. When I became sick and my muscles were eaten away, it dealt a huge blow to me. But something that didn't change was my memory of my accomplishments.
They can't take away what you know to be true. You've done it and lived it, and you should be proud of what you've accomplished. There's plenty who can't do what you have done. No one can do you like you. Just remember, even a twig can eventually lift 100lbs. You can do it too! I sure did.

When I first started playing football, I was easily one of the weakest in there. The girl that was working out with us was lifting twice as much as me. What encouraged me was all the guys who were lifting over 200lbs helping me and hyping me up and telling me what to do and how to do it. I gained 50lbs in about a year and to this day, I'm still deceptively strong

I went to the MO School for the Blind where there were many levels of blindness as well as multi handicapped students (intellectual disabilities or physical disabilities). Our blindness as well as other disabilities did not prevent us from doing sports such as track, cheerleading, wrestling n swimming. If you wanted to participate coaches n other students would find a way for you to take part with any necessary modifications. We made sure to cheer each other on because that’s what decent folks do. Sometimes I am grateful for being visually impaired because it taught me empathy n compassion for others. Never tell someone they can’t. 🙏🏻💖

It was awesome. There is no way she felt intimidated after that, i cant imagine the encouragement that little girl must have felt. I hope shes still healthy and still lifting.
