They are both excellent boards. The only reason I went to the rnf96 was to get the volume I wanted at 6'00", which is that 36 - 37l. If I went to 6'00" on the BV2, I'd have ended up at standard dimensions with 33l, and at 6'2" with the 36' which I have, I found it too long for grovelling in 1 - 3ft, the way I want to surf. :-)
