I was thinking of the best female singers that I've ever heard and here's my list:
Whitney Houston, Celine Dion, Christina Aguilera, Ann Wilson(heart), and Angelina Jordan. I'm thinking she'll go down as the best ever when it's said and done. The crazy thing is I'm fairly certain that she hasn't suffered much loss, heart break, etc in her life being so young. So when she grows up and experiences life, then writes about it, some of the best songs ever might be created.
She also has signed a huge record deal with Republic Records who does Ariana Grande among others
I wish that this extremly wonderful person start her own recordcompany and become boss over herself!!!

I am not so sure about your thoughts this time. At the moment, I gather angelina is protected by her family & will be so, until her education is finished. BUT If you had listened to her statement prior to Bohemian Rhapsody. She had waited years to sing for Simon. Ask yourself why? I believe when time comes, she knows he is one of the most influential people in the industry. & wished to show him her talent now.
Been a Norwegian means living in a country with free medical insurance, free education in all levels, pension for the elderly and there are taken care of the unfortunate.
Her family is well off, love each other and her uncle is the proprietor of a music company.
She didn´t have to sell herself to AGT for a slave contract in Las Vegas, and has also said no thanks to several others including Disney.
Too many others are not so fortunate, and have to bow their heads to make a career, but I believe this Angle will always fly free.
Just came to me - I live in Denmark just south of Norway - The day after the audition in 2014, the hostess in the Danish TV-news
said, that something extraordinary had happened in Norway, and then they showed Angelina´s whole audition.
One more thing - Angelina has later told, that the moment she walk onto that scene, she felt at home, that it was here she belonged.

Angelina lets her voice dance in this performance, like a ballerina, and it is incredible beautiful.
Fortunately she didn't win that commercial thing and hopefully she will always stays the humble but so marvelous Angelina like we know her since her first public Gloomy Sunday performance, how long ago now?, six and half years ago.

Hi Sandy! We've come a long way since your first reactions on Angelina by the fire ;)
Everything you said is exactly what I think. First of all, yes, Angelina is one in a million or billion. Second, about the lyrics, some say the production chooses the song (I don't think it's necessarily that way) but if they did, they shot themselves on the foot, lol. Angelina sang those words exactly the way she feels about these kinds of shows: she doesn't believe in that false "yellow brick road".
You can see that from a very young age, Angelina has been making her own arrangements, directing the musicians around her and choosing the songs she's interested in singing, doing things her way and so, it's clear she would never sell her art to these industry sharks.
She and her management knew that competing in AGT would give her the US/world recognition she needed at the time and that's the only reason she was there.
Now, she's past this stage and, as far as I know, she had been recording in NY before the pandemic struck. So after all this is over, we can expect something pretty amazing coming from her.

I love to see the visceral reactions you and other reactors have when listening to Angelina. It's like she just reaches inside you and pulls out your emotions for everyone to see. When I watched this performance back in January and there were camera shots of Simon, two things came to mind: He was just in awe of Angelina's talent, and he was visualizing the millions of dollars that were running through his fingers by not being able to get Angelina under contract. Good for Angelina and her family for setting the path they want to follow and staying on it. Here's a comment that is going to get me in trouble: I think Dimash and Marcellito are tremendous talents and will have long, successful careers. But, to me, they are somewhat formulaic in the music they choose to sing and the way they sing it. Give Angelina most any song from most any musical genre and she won't only adapt to it but make it wholly her own. I don't think she cares to take on hip-hop or rap, but it wouldn't surprise me if we hear something like it from her in the future. I always say that Angelina doesn't sing songs. She sings emotions that go directly to our souls to create beauty and joy!

The luckiest thing for me was discovering the existence of Angelina on AGT. When I heard Marcelito was going to participate, I had been listening to reactions of him for over 2 years, so I was sure to watch. Angelina stuck out so much I had to research her on U tube. The rest is my short history following Angelina. I have listened to her ever since everyday. As I have stated before she is in my humble opinion one of earth's best humans, along with Marcelito. Their wonderful singing ability goes without saying. Thank you for your reactions. Stay safe.

I agree everything you said about her meaning every word of what she sang and did you notice that she gave a chuckle as soon as she sang it. I believe what Simon was saying about her not doing what everyone else would have done in her situation went over everyones head, meaning everyone else would have signed up with him.

This was a way for Angelina to get more people open their eyes for her. After she was in the AGT champions the numbers of reactors that are reacting to her have increased to a whole bunch of reactors. So I think she got the best out of it. I don't know who won and I haven't heard anything about the winner after. 😂

If I didn't know better I'd say that she's got the entire audience in the palm of her hand, but this is AGT and nothing can be trusted to be presented the way it actually happened, and it's a known fact that the audience is groomed to react in a certain way and told when to cheer and when to clap,or boo. Part of me like to think that those sporadic cheers we hear comes from the instructions to do so at those moments, but it's only done by a few people and it quickly dies away because everyone is just mesmerized and don't want to miss a single sound from Angelina's lips, and another part wants to think it's the true spontaneous reaction from the crowd. Maybe the truth is somewhere in between.

Welcome back Sandy,you're spot on about Angelina singing this song relevant to the show.Angelina has a rich vocal palette equal to her and grandma's colorful paintings.There is a video of her rehearsing this song backstage and she didn't use that beautiful last riff.Perhaps she saved it to show that she would decide in the end,maybe it also explains the little chuckle that she gave at the end.

So good to see you back, Sandy. You were one of the earliest reactors, and a really genuine reactor. I still enjoy your first time encounter (the double reaction) with Angelina. Could almost see how your musical brain was reborn when you first listened to her. We all have been there several times, with Summertime, with I put a spell and I also experienced it live when watching her in concert with Its a man's world. It is almost like you experience that your brain have a new wiring and that you are changed for forever.

she also go 6th. We all would of loved her to win, but without all that comes with it. Plus they were
looking for a Las Vegas act & it was a acrobatic team that won & their perfect for that. This is also
at the time when her 2nd grandpa died & she started to write "Million Miles" & finished it in 2020.

Angelina refused to agree to the binding agreements in AGT, but I think they were aware of this, but still wanted her to attend to bring as many viewers as possible. Then there was no way she could win. The entire acclaimed music industry knows who she is, and she was invited to sing for Quincy Jones during his 85th birthday at O2 Arena London. She has also collaborated with David Foster, Gene Simmons, Alan Walker. In addition to singing at the Nobel Prize concert 8 year old. She has also sung for Obama. This is just something from her résumé at 14 years old and the list is much longer. So it was really AGT that she was lucky that she showed up. But as I said, AGT is just a TV show and not a competition. Calling it a Talent Competition is too stupid. The only thing that was real is all the amazing talents we saw and heard. Note! She is also Norway's youngest author with published book 9 years old! Composer Nico Cartosio especially wrote a piece that he wanted Angelina to perform vocally. Angelina is independent and owns the rights herself. Angelina Jordan INC. She and her family take it easy because of her young age. Angelina wants total ownership over her creativity, without compromise. She / family said no to Disney, among other things. She attends some major foundrising concerts. Rumor has it that she is coming up with her own album this year.

For some unknown reason, I clicked on this reaction before going to bed, although I've heard this song and other reactors more times than I can count. I guess it was my surprise, almost disbelief that, after all this time, this was the FIRST time you reacted to this song! I'm glad I stayed with it! I never thought of this particular song as being Angelina's CONSCIOUS farewell to Hollywood! The reference to Simon being the Wizard [of Oz] was perfect! I am thrilled that you think exactly what I think. Nobody has hardly touched on this. I totally believe that this was Angelina kissing off Simon. I thought that her demeanor was more somber than her 1st performance. It was like she had a letdown. She is still so young and although she “wanted to win” I don’t think that her family as well as Angelina, herself would surrender herself to Simon’s control. She has her own path and reality isn’t always easy to take. The fact that she placed so low showed that this show is anything but legit. I love this girl and I am so excited to just watch her grow and bring us new music. She will never miss Simon. Simon will miss her though. Angelina Jordan Astar will always be the “one that got away.”
As someone else said, Simon will be telling his grandchildren that Angelina once called him a legend!
The semi final songs were all picked by the AGT producers. I'm sure they all knew before hand that Angie wasn't going to sign a Syco contract so they picked this song for the drama. I read that all the top five were under some sort of AGT contract already. Who knows for sure.
When Angelina was 11-12 years old, her mother explained in an interview that only Angelina chooses the songs she sings and in the end only sings the songs as she imagines. Maybe it's also a reason why Angelina has her own record label, ANGELINA JORDAN INC. BTW, Angelina released her version of Bohemian Rhapsody under her own label, can be streamed anywhere. ✌️😎💕💕💕🇩🇪🇪🇺

In fact that was a bone of contention, because her mom and the family brain trust had already set up a music label of sorts. And she also had put up a studio version of 'Bohemian Rhapsody' which appearantly hacked Simon off. So I was really surprised that she made it as far as she did, but it also pissed me off because she was way better than Marcelito. In the end I'm sure the experience was a good one. So, again glad to have you back for however long you can stand it. She does that all the time to me. It also seems she has fun raising her level of performance and watching us scramble around trying to justify ourselves. Again soooooo glad to have you back. How's Mom? Fine I hope. She is one of the few real pure artists in the competition... Others are eliminated early. She's surrounded by different carnival acts in the finals. That's why she did not win...☺️ The superfans who voted whoever they are just not in the capacity to see artistry. They always tend to choose the ones that can wow their eyes and has a good backstory. I don't feel sorry for Angelina coz I know she knows what's she's into. And she came there with a goal in mind and she achieved that goal and more. She surely wanted to win it all but Angelina is an intelligent young lady. She sure has seen the end even before she signed for the competition.

Sandy, there is no requirement for a winner of AGT or AGT The Champions to sign a contract. The "contestant agreement" for the regular AGT summer show has a provision that "any contestant" that is offered a contract within 1 year must accept, but this is not the regular AGT summer show, it is AGT-The Champions, where many of the contestants (former Got Talent winners or finalists from around the world) have long since turned pro and have contracts and agents already. There is no eveidence to show that signing a contract is required to win, and in 14 seasons of AGT and 2 seasons of Champions, out of 7 vocalist winners, only 3 signed contracts (Bianca Ryan, Grace VanderWaal, and Kodi Lee), the other 4 did not. Any contestant on either show can be signed , and non winners have signed. Also, Angelina's family has turned down every contract offer since she won NGT 2014, so she could have a normal childhood and schooling. Not signing, even if offered, now would be no different. Angelina records on her own Angelina Jordan, Inc label, and copyrights her music in her name. It's a shame she didn't win, because she should have.
There may not be a requirement, but I certainly get the impression over the years that it's a significant factor.

I felt the same way, but a little basic research proved that "signing is required to win" to be false, among many other things being posted, and was being stated by commenters as absolute fact with no evidence whatsoever. Guess I just prefer actual facts over opinion or hearsay stated as "fact."
I really wish people would do the research, as you have, before littering the comments with inaccuracies and falsehoods. What you have so eloquently stated should be the standard which is pinned to the beginning of each reactor's comment section when reviewing one of Angelina's (or anyone's) AGT-C performances.

I am 78 years old and have never seen a brilliant talent like Angelina in my lifetime, and I truly believe we Angelina fans need to adopt the same dignified attitude that Angelina has displayed in all her post Champions interviews, with no complaints and only gratitude, and in fact all interviews throughout her public life for that matter, and rely on facts and stop the Hollywood tabloid style innuendos. Knowing the young lady that Angelia is, I have a hard time imagining Angelia would approve of the rhetoric. AGT and AGT - The Champions are "reality shows" first and foremost IMO, meant to promote competition between acts, play on our emotions with personal stories, and yes, make a profit for their creator Simon Cowell, Syco Entertainment, Sony, and NBC.

And, when commenting I really do try to have an "Angelina" on each shoulder monitoring my rhetoric. I admit to occasional slips but, I will readily apologize when called on it. As for Simon, although I almost never watch AGT (or any TV shows) he has earned my qualified respect. I'll end this ramble with; if we really believe in Angelina Jordan we'll model our expectations for others in order to deserve her.
