I have not personally run the Proboat. I have seen them flip turning at these speeds though. The Razor is extremely nimble at any speed with room for extreme upgrades without sacrificed integrity. I'd be interested to see a stock showdown between the two.
JuanSQuiP flipping has very seldom been an issue. We have always had a retrieval boat in the water as a precaution however. Water in the hull has not been an issue. Always check for leaks with any boat though. Hatch tape, and a properly greased flexrod are also key to a water-tight lady. Remember to silicone any hardware that passes through the hull.
Ryan Leonardson Nice!! here are my last questions, what's the KV of the stock motor? have you ever had any over heating issues or any problem with the stock set up? and would it be possible to install a 2200 KV motor withuot changing the stock esc? thank you man.
Stock 120 amp esc Stock brushless Venom 50C 5000mH 6S battery Strut positioning, prop and trim adjustments are also key to this kind of control and speed. However, we run Venom batteries exclusively. We have yet to find a battery that has the consistent output and staying power needed for our R/C's.
Pedro Monteiro Yes it was. We literally pulled that boat out of the box, dropped in batteries and turned on the camera. We may or may not have made a trim adjustment. I honestly don't remember.
Thanks, it´s such a fine boat ....! Still available, NOS ( New Old Stock ) in some european hobby shops ...... I am planning to buy one of these ....! I guess it didn't sell well .... may be the price was too high .... JOYSWAY attempt to make "High-End" RC boats ??
Hello, I made the mistake of purchasing the hull and the hardware separately for this boat. It did not come with any instructions on how to mount the hardware to the hull, nor were there pre-drilled holes in the hull. I know it's a lot to ask, but I would be EXTREMELY grateful if you could provide a crude sketch and some dimensions of how the fins, tabs, etc... are laid out. I would be willing to send a compensatory donation even if you could provide some guidance. I've had ZERO luck sweeping the internet for any useful info "other than a couple of rear shot pictures", and the local hobby shops won't even touch it... I feel I may be in over my head... Thanks for you time!
Ryan Leonardson Ryan, thanks for the reply. I've been in the process of moving, so I haven't had much time to tinker, but I am definitely still interested in any info you would be willing to provide. I almost got desperate and just made it match my traxxas transom! Thank you sir!
WOW!! that looks like a pretty outstanding boat!! but which one is better, the proboat impulse 31 or this boat????

Ryan Leonardson and does it get any water inside the hull? And what about the flipping?

wow
Do you recommend this boat ?
This was a great boat! I wish I'd kept it.
Ride time?
Plug to the battery? Please say
Are you asking about the plug style itself?
XT90, XT60 or other?
It was either HTX4 or PRC6. I think that battery had HTX4s on it.

Sorry for the late reply. Were you able to work out your set up?

GPS speed?
We never stuck a gps in this one. My mild Miss Excite ran 48mph on flat water, and this kept up.
sweet jesus she is fast eh!
10 s good?
Not out of the box. I think your maiden voyage would be a viking funeral.
+Ryan Leonardson Ok. Thank
