Everything you said is right on! Especially about making sure you’re in a good place before getting surgery and keeping your expectations realistic.

Janie you did an amazing job explaining your journey. Also the biggest hurdle that needed to be talked about is the mental health part. Some Men and Women do body altering surgery when there not right mentally with there body or other things.
You can really see the big difference in your photos. You were beautiful even before the tummy tuck, but you did it cause you wanted to after all that hard work losing weight when you younger.
My ex brother in law had one done too. Had drain tubes coming out snd it was a painful procedure but if you keep on your pain relief regimen it got better.

I started watching your channel because I was researching my tummy tuck that was approaching. I did it last April and it was the BEST thing I could have ever done!!! ❤ You look amazing!

Very Proud of You for having the courage to film your journey, and your husbands support. Being a Husband and a father to 6 grown daughter's, as well as working in the medical field, I am acutely aware of the transformation of childbirth and its after effects. Two of my girls are like human pez dispensers and show no signs of being pregnant and the others are typical. My wife had a similar procedure and it really helped her as well.

Thank u for sharing ur journey.im 13 weeks post op from a tummy tuck and muscle repair.i came across ur channel when I was in the first week of recovery and been following u every since.ur updates have helped me massively and this one has even more.im pretty insecure about myself and have been for years.ive not had the weightloss journey like urself but after 6 babies, including a twin pregnancy and my youngest having my first c section my stomach was in bits.i have always worked out pretty much daily and like u said no matter how much pilates i did the lose skin never shifted so for me this was one of the best things ive done for myself.thank u again for ur honesty and sharing something that's really personal.xx

What an amazingly honest video.. thank you. Congratulations and I’m glad you feel better about yourself. I know a few guys (myself included) that lost a lot of weight and have considered it. I think it’s like anything else, the need to change has to exceed the desire to stay the same. I think a lot of married guys see that price tag and go… naaah (I can only speak for myself and the people I know). It’s like you said, it’s not as much a matter of vanity as a recognition of an accomplishment. BTW… always suspected you were a Jersey girl if not a Long Islander.

Thanks for sharing- I’m TT with ab repair and 360 lipo is Feb 13th. I’m scared and excited- I just got off a holiday , new years cruise and I’ve actually gained 9 pounds in 2 weeks 😬😬. Hoping it won’t mess things up 🤷🏼‍♀️ unless that’s more fat to be sucked out. my biggest worry besides the pain bc I’m a 45yro baby 😂 ( Jan 2nd 🎉) is what to keep on my scar - I’ve heard ppl keep paper tape on it for a week at a time until 6 wks then creams and some just use creams right away and I’m thinking - how do you want anything touching or rubbing on your cut like a binder or a super tight FAJAS 😬. Also what did you find to be the best in a FAJAS style or compression 💕💕

Doesn't a tummy tuck cone with a high risk of blood clots which can cause strikes and or death? Also you said you were losing lots of weight and only eating 1,400 calories which wasn't good. I've never eaten over 1200 calories and I'm 5ft 5 1/2, and it's not because I'm dieting, just can't eat more than this. So are you saying you can't eat this amount and have any muscle tone or be healthy?

Yeah, sometime it takes like more than 12 months because some of the nerves needs to regenerate completely and it takes 12 months for 90% of the nerves to regenerate.

I would have thought "what the hell you're to young to need a tummy tuck". When I saw the before and after pictures I get it. I still think you're GORGEOUS before and after, but this a decision that hopefully you made on your own. (not Dave)

Omg i saw the Blue two piece and the next thig I was in the emergency room. The ER doctor said i had fainted and my coworker called medical for me. I was transported to the Emergency room at the local hospital. I signed back on to write this but paused the video at the beginning so i would not pass out again. Janie takes my breath away.
