Not of I know can invite people to challenge mushroom together.

You can invite people if you are both in the same area and then you can join the mushroom together :) you cant "invite" people from your friendlist

I think you have to look for the giant leaves around where you are and plant a bunch of flowers there

You need to walk around to find.. It will show up when near to the mushroom.

@@FlaiExists They unlock at level 15, so if you're 15 now, they JUST unlocked. I found the one I did in my expeditions tab; it appears you find them the same way you find other expeditions.
EDIT: I can confirm, the one I have been doing is a PoI from Pokemon Go and Ingress. Some of them are big sprouts, some are challenges, and some don't make the cut.

You just destroyed that thing in like 5 seconds I have 21 decor pikmin now but there on a mushroom expedition it takes 4 more hours left

The time taken to destroy a mushroom changed. Before the change, it can take very fast. After the change, the fastest can go is about 1.5hrs.

what about brown colored mushrooms? are those unable to be color coded?

Brown mushrooms are not colored. Rock and Purple decor leaf pikmin give you 11 points. Other colored pikimn give you 10 or less.

They are the same as other decor pikmins.

You will get lower points if you choose other colour pikmins on yellow mushroom.

@@thealaskanforever it’s because while you were choosing which Pikmin to go, you probably walked (drove) too far that it unloaded, rendering it useless until you get close enough again
