@@TheDiscriminatingGamer no surprise, I am not to good with the new publishing companies. I am an old gamer going back to the 70’s with Avalon Hill and Victory Games
I agree 'States of Siege' games are great. I hope they do all the others in the series: Eager to see a new edition of 'We must tell the Emperor' . The best VPG game of that time was 'Wings for the Baron'. GMT picked it up to do a deluxe edition with double layer boards.
I had presumed that Worthington Games owned the rights to reprint the VG SoS games and was awaiting the next KS campaign from them. Since the original Hapsburg Eclipse, and Ottoman Sunset could be merged into a single gameplay session, I wonder where that stands?
@TheDiscriminatingGamer Well, I found the answer. TT also has Ottoman Sunset on their webstore, and the combined gaming option with Hapsburg is referenced. As noted, I was awaiting a Worthington release and never realized these two games were actually published by another company. I did not hesitate and purchased both. Thanks for bringing Hapsburg to my attention, allowing me to enter that Victory Point rights rabbit hole.
Thanks for the review, Cody! As always, your analysis is bang on, and you brought another brilliant game into my life. One thing though: en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Pl-Przemy%C5%9Bl.ogg
looks much better now. the old one was too small. thank you as always
I agree. It was always a great game, but now it's got a production that suits its play.
The mechanics are similar to the game about English Civil War
@@patrickols They are both States of Siege Games.

Absolutely loved the outro to this one. So much drama and feeling. :)
I am, at the end of the day, an artist.
Picked this up along with Ottoman Sunset and I was really impressed with them. Same quality as the Worthington SoS reprints, nearly half the cost
Great games!

@@carrickrichards2457 Yeah, very excited for the GMT “Wings for the Baron.”
Btw great companion “The Fortress” by Alexander Watson…
I read Watson's "Enduring the Great War" which was just fantastic. I'd like to read The Fortress at some point. Thanks.
Thanks! Love your reviews. I’ll check out your other channel.
Thanks a ton. Much appreciated.
Text on Ottoman Sunset same issue. Need bigger text. Minuscule. Everything else is done so well…how did they mess up the cards🤦🏼
Yeah.
Love this game!
It's a good one!
This has been my grail game since you bring it up in the dawn of zeds review. Hope for a reprint😢
I think you'll get a kick out of it.

@@JPFalcononor Happy to Help!
What is the main difference between the 2014 and the 2023 editions? Thank you in advance.
The 2023 version is much higher quality production. As far as rules, I don't think there is much difference.
@@TheDiscriminatingGamer Thanks! I’m trying to get a copy of 2023 but it is hard to get.
So, was it Solar or Lunar?
Mitsubishi.
Hapsburg???? (sic!) really……
Really
@@TheDiscriminatingGamer oh dear…..
