Tiffany, I can’t thank you enough! This idea just saved me from throwing out several pieces. I had embossed a few watercolor looking papers but I couldn’t see the embossed image and was frustrated. This idea is a game changer! Thank you! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Unbelievably breathtakingly stunning!!! So very beautiful indeed, I’ve yet to get into alcohol inks but yours are the most stunning ones I’ve seen! Thank you 🏆🤩👌
You are just so gifted, Tiffany. That card is stunning. Your videos inspire me and never disappoint with the myriad of information you share. I have spent so much money on supplies and impulse purchases. It is very reassuring that you can keep things simpler and still have stunning results. I guess it’s part of the learning process. I’ve been a card creator for 20+ years and it’s amazing to still pick up new tips and ‘tricks!’ Thank you. 💜
Thank you so much Tiffany, I really really enjoyed watching you create these incredible backgrounds with the dies, and they’re really really awesome when you finished then. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags
WOW. This is a gorgeous technique! And your backgrounds are so beautiful--and you somehow took it to the next level of beauty. I'm so excited to try this. Thank you for sharing!!
@@Tiffany.Solorio I always put the card between two sheets of nonstick paper (I get these from the back of my self-adhesive magnetic sheets), so any possible remaining glue does not stick to the books. But you could wait till the card is completely dry, too. I actually use three huge books and some brass bookends but that might be overdoing it :)
SO beautiful chickie! You are an enabler...now I've ordered more 3D folders....lol. Getting me closer to playing with my alcohol inks....lol. I love sanding things. SO satisfying for me. 😘
@@Tiffany.Solorio oh that’s loaded question Tiffany. I’m a silversmith, rock hound and lapidary (Think about an Indian bracelet; the rock hound finds the rock! the lapidary cuts the rock into a stone! and the silversmith creates the bracelet. Most people ask what that is so I was just explaining). I create resin countertops and furniture. I sew, mostly fantasy party dresses for little girls or avant-garde looks for my granddaughter. I love to bake big cakes and decorate them. I always want to learn new things that will spark my creative side so I can riff off of an idea to see how far I can take it. I especially enjoy admiring another person’s creativity. A creative mind is amazing and something that should be appreciated, and applauded. Take yours for instance. I marvel at the things you have created. I do work with alcohol inks in my resin, but never thought “hey, can I do this on paper?” Because paper isn’t usually a medium I work with. I want to smash it with hammer, light it with a torch, or take a saw to it. Your work is so delicate, and relaxing to the mind when viewing it. You eye for color is something I struggle with. Like I said, “I’m glad I found you.” You remind me to slow down and take in the beauty.

Do you need to spray the paper with water when you are using the 3-D embossing folder for this technique?
No because the paper used for alcohol inks is plastic (yupo or craft plastic) it holds up very well.
