Good Lord. Some of the comments attack Apple because it charges an annual/monthly fee to use Final Cut for iPad. I've owned Final Cut for Mac for over a decade. In that time, Apple hasn't charged a single cent for updates, and I'm pretty sure that the price hasn't changed either. Plus, Apple already has a free video editor for iPad, namely iMovie.
This is subscription based. These billion and trillion dollar companies nickel and diming us to death is getting insane. A one time purchase fee is really the only way to go unless you to the da Vinci resolve route with is free minus a few pro features.
@@richardlocke3375he really dropped the ball in terms of discussing pricing. The other apps have a one time purchase fee but if you already use Final Cut and this is included then it could be a good option… except for the other deal breaker limitations that make it a no go for many.
Thank you for your effort, but it would be great if there were subtitles in more languages. I can't understand everything you say. I have a question: Do those who have already purchased Final Cut for Macbook have to pay for the iPad version as well? Instead of paying every month or every year, I want to pay in ones. In this case, Da Vinci Resolve makes more sense.
I really enjoyed it while it worked!!! I use a Black Magic ATEM Mini Pro with four cameras, and I record straight to a usb-c thumb drive, and edited the video on my M2 iPad Pro. All was well until the last iPad update and Black Magic update; Final Cut Pro no longer recognizes the mp4 video from my ATEM Mini Pro.
I’ve used LumaFusion quite a bit and got hung up by the limit of 6 video tracks and 6 audio tracks. I have never used FCP on iOS or OS X. Am I going to find myself hamstrung with the same limitations in FCP?
I bought a two TB iPad Pro m2 just for this program and I have to say Final Cut for iPad truly sucks.. Yes the SSD support is not there, but that’s why I got the iPad with the greater storage option. I figure they will add that functionality someday. What I truly hate is the lack of pro functions that the desktop version has like speed ramping sliders and timeline controls. The biggest thing I hate is when I import footage all my imports are out of order and there seems to be no file management which is a big problem when you have tons of clips to use. so far this program has been a real disappointment.
New version update to released, hopefully you’ll be able to properly use that expensive tablet. Unless you already sold it, and if so, an update would be cool to know what you’re using now? Take care.
Downloaded it on day one and never opened it again. Apple can stick their subscription especially when there’s non subscription options which are better
Final Cut is definitely a big NO for me ….why? Because it’s freaking Subscription based. So Davinci Resolve can have my money plus all the one time payment model. Who’s with me?!

So agree. Odd what some will complain about, I.e. $4.99 a month, but, easily drop that and more a day at Starbucks…..
Could you do also a beginners guide in Final Cut Pro for Mac? Thanks guys, you’re awesome! 🙏🏻

5 dollar per month …. Just get rid of your Disney, Netflix and Spotify BS subs and you are ok
If you buy or allready have full version of Final Cut Pro for Mac this is included free

Thank you for the insights and quick conclusion at the end. I wish also for external ssd support, plugins and stabilization.
Appreciate your feedback! External SSD support, plugins, and stabilization would indeed be great additions. - Hazel, PV Team

How do you make vertical videos for TikTok and instagram, using Final Cut Pro for iPad?
Hello, I wonder can we use slow zoom in Final Cut Pro iPad? or if it only work on desktop?

Not to bring up a sore subject for you, but have they made any improvements?

What mouse are you using and can you do multicam studio on Final Cut for iPad
Would this be useful for editing music video? Seeing as though I’ll be having to sync original music to said video
Do you have any videos you could recommend to me on how to get started with daVinci Resolve... i have a 2018 iPad Pro and want to learn video editing
great video thanks

Similarly, do a video on a good video editor for Samsung Galaxy Tab S series tablets.
Is there an easy way to remove the green screen. ? I’m stuck
el único problema es que no se puede trabajar con disco externo,me gustaría que Final Cut hicieran eso
Its 4,99€ per month not 9,99€ or More what most companies do. And it will be more often be updated then mac version i guess

Thank you - Hazel, PV Team
Video stabilization is missing
Do you all have CapCut for iPad video?
Tell me why Final Cut Pro can’t download my iPad Air 7 general with ios 17.2 ?
You need an M Chip in your iPad
*Unfortunately my iPad is too old* 😖
