- This download explores a wide variety of offensive stick work. Beginning first with footage from our 2019 St.Patrick's Day class, we explore the traditional tactics of the Irish Bata (shillelagh) and learn how it applies to canes, walking sticks and longer umbrellas. Taking footage from our May the Fourth Be With You class, we touch on close quarter Japanese katana tactics and apply them to stick to improve spatial awareness and counter clinching and encroachment options. From there we move to shorter stick, including consideration for flashlights and low light training, pocket sticks, pen, kubotan and give special consideration to saps and blackjacks, highlighting the unique and often overlooked versatility of their dual cutting lines and their application and relation to empty handed tactics. This is a fun-filled and eye opening study of stick that transcends style and integrates numerous traditions into a modern fighting platform.

What relaxation gives you in a fight? In systema teaching it looks like the most important thing.
Emotional control, more efficiency, more sired, more power. Needless tension is a waste
+Marcin Konieczny
The real trick is actually being relaxed in a fight. Even the most seasoned fighters and Special Operators fail at being relaxed. Which is why fine-motor combative skills are not usually the main focus of combat training.
🔥❤️🔥🔥
Thanks Jack
@@systemacanada no thank you brother, I love this video!
@@jacksdulaney me too :) Thanks for watching.
Kevin Secours, the Dog Brothers and Richard Dimitri of Senshido are really some of the only ones on RUclips who know what they are talking about with regards to real life fighting/combat. Their experience and research is tragically understated.
Love both of their work. Big fans. Richard is a fellow montrealer so he is well known here
Any instructors in Greece?
No not yet unfortunately
Hello I tried to order this video today and after hitting complete payment with PayPal, I just get a blue circle never changes, no charge to PayPal. Just wondering if anybody else was having issue with you site?
That sounds like a PayPal processing issue. The site might have been overloaded . I would suggest trying again with a different web browser. Sometimes that does the trick.
@@systemacanada thank you, are the shillelagh techniques Irish stick techniques or adapted from other arts?
@@longseskrima-gungfu no they are pure Irish stick work. Adapted from glen Doyle’s work and then there is other work that is jujitsu that integrates both and shows the commonalities and differences
Is this a download
