- In this video we visit the Leipzig Zoo. Countless friends have recommended this zoo to us and now we can see why. This zoo is incredible. From the baby giraffes and elephants to the ginormous playground. Not to mention the Gondwanaland which made us feel like we were transported to the tropical rainforest. This zoo blew us away. Is this the best zoo in Europe? Watch this video to find out.

Leipzig Zoo is fantastic. I own a permanent ticket for 16 years now.
When you live/work in the city, it is fantastic to take 30 minutes/ 1 hour now and then and just hop in to chill with the elephants or the meerkats.
We LOVED this zoo. It’s our favorite.
That was cool.
Over 400 Zoos and Wildparks here in Germany. More than other countries.
