  • How to replace a Logicboard on a 13" Macbook Air Retina A1932 EMC 3184.
    This is a step by step video that will show you how to replace the part from start to finish.
    This guide is valid for the following models:
    13” MacBook Air Retina 2018 (A1932) EMC 3184
    13” MacBook Air Retina 2019 (A1932) EMC 3184
    *This guide can also work for MacBook Air 2020 A2179 EMC 3302 but please note that the speakers each have a screw now and the trackpad is accessible without removing the logic-board.

    You cruised through the “lever” on the disconnection for the audio board in like one second. I don’t even know what the lever is or how to disconnect it and if I try to do it without more specific instructions, I’m gonna break the freaking thing so thanks for the detailed instructions. I now need to look on Google or some other place to figure out what the lever is and how I disconnect it without breaking it.

    The authorized repair center I sent my macbook replaced it with a new logic board, but they are still asking for my admin password in able to reformat it, which doesnt make sense to me since in my understanding new logicboard means new storage, and new password setup, why are they still asking for my password?.

      bc they fixed the logic board instead of changing it
