    ive watch multiple "build your first react app" videos but i get lost in the middle somewhere, and demotivated.
    I didnt think u would be able to build a whole app in 2 10 min videos. best react native beginner friendly tutorial ive seen. i made it through the whole thing!!!

    I always wanted to get into React / React-Native but I never wanted to pay because 1$ is about 100 in my currency, which means courses are very expensive, and all the tutorials I followed, I never understood them, but this one, I understood it perfectly! I must say you outdid yourself and outmatched my expectations!

      yes actually this best method that i used to learn literally everything i know now , i don't understand how some tutorial are like 4 h long and also for beginner but the start point the the whole project ready to go

    Just a suggestion, maybe suggest also your favorite extension to use with VSCode to automate most of the common boiler templates of react native.

    I've learned and used React. Somehow the React hooks like useState and useEffect still are the most confusing things for me. Now having to learn React Native with inadequate short tutorials like yours has been difficult. I'm so glad that I found your channel and I wish you had more videos on the topic because everyone has hours worth of content, but you explained it better than the rest in less than 30 mins!     Using async storage will be a good idea to persist the state of the todo items ? Isn't it ? Otherwise the state will clear every time we close the app.

    If anyone is curious, in 'App.js', changing the flex property to '2' will wrap longer text inputs instead of them outputting off of the screen.

    As a web developer, I thought react native is completely different. Just came across this series and found out that, it's basically the same with minor differences... Loved the series. Kudos to you 👏👏.
    P.S. I was screaming at my screen when you forgot the return statement when mapping over the array 😅

    Is on 7:47 the „onChangeText“ statement not a good choice? Because on every typed character it would call the function or am i wrong? Thank you for the good tutorials💪🏼 you should do more of that

    Why is it not possible in completeTask() to remove the task item directly from the taskItems list? Why do you need an itemsCopy array?

    I googled and changed my items view to a scrollview and set the height to 80% which looked much better when you added more items that couldnt fit the screen :D

    The keyboard wasn't showing at 13:30 when you were typing into Input. What could be the issue?

      Great question, that's because I had the setting turned off for the keyboard to show up on my simulator. If you're on mac, you can toggle whether the keyboard comes up or not by doing the following in your simulator - ⇧ + ⌘ + K

    Great pacing on this video. I had difficulty with other longer tutorials as they go too far into the nitty gritty before actually doing anything. This is a great jumping off point for people who are familiar with Javascript/React but need a good kickoff for mobile development!
