+adamkrz59 Thanks Adam! Glad they can help you and I'm not planning on it bud! Got plenty more on the way soon. Please tell you friends ;) Keep rockin brother and thanks for the nice comment ;)
JC Thanks Jimmy! I really appreciate it :) Made my day. I got more vids on the way and I'd love it if you check them out :) Thanks again Jimmy! Keep Rockin my brotha!
@@guitarmadeez Devils Rejects is a classic. I have all of Zombies movies, just waiting for 3 From Hell to come out so I can add to the collection. Take care man and have a good Halloween!
Dude..dont worry about the big dogs. That is you bro! Always loved the song, man you made it easy and understandable. Been playing acoustic forever, it's funny you think a song like that , u think its more complicated.! Wow. D, b flat, and c. Crazy. Thanks man. I subscribed. Do what you do. Keep it simple. Great job.
I know I came on to this video many years late but boy am I glad I did! Thank you for this great lesson! By the way, can you please let me know what guitar make and model you’re o,aging and what kind of strings are on it? Sounds great! Thank you!
That's the right name for the chord he's playing, Gm7 - however I think the right chord, at least to my ears, is actually Bb (B flat) then C then back to D. There's a clip on YT that has 4 Allman Brothers guys playing an all acoustic guitar version and you can clearly see at least one of them is playing Bb (which sounds very close to Gm7 except for one note).
It's interesting, I have always played this the way you are playing, then saw some other "lessons" and am glad you play it the same as I do. I only heard "back in the day" it and played it, and also add the part at the end to fill it in...identical..kind of strange.. great job, and good luck..
i might of missed you saying it in the video, but this is in Drop D tuning correct? I've seen it played both ways and also with high E tuned to D also (not that i care for that much). But thank you and great video Mark! I like your video the best on youtube so far. Learned it after watching video once.
Gm is not actually an "inversion" of a Bb chord. To say that is an error and it existed long before Hendrix used it. Gm is the relative minor to Bb and the 6th chord in the Bb scale. His use of that C chord after the Gm7 chord is totally wrong too. It's Gm7 to Am7 to D.
Sure Ana! It's a MArtin DCX1e and the strings are key, I use Elixir Strings.. Checkout my new channel - I think you might like it ;) - ruclips.net/channel/UC3W7Gu8jbYMyPMALJ7wsvHA - Keep rockin!
Thank you for answering my question. Your lessons are awesome, and I've learned to play two songs so far from watching your lessons. I will keep watching and checkout your new channel. Thanks again!
Got it, this was an old video, my new channel the camera angle is perpendicular which gives you a better angle - ruclips.net/channel/UC3W7Gu8jbYMyPMALJ7wsvHA
Dude, the beginning cord is a DSUS2. You should explain the cords. No bad students when there's a bad teacher. Everyone thinks they are a teacher??????
This is wrong. First of all you must put guitar in a D tune by lowering 6th and 1st string into the D tune- then you play what you are showing. You play chorus wrong. Gm C is the right chords
I learned it just from knowing the song but happened upon this which is really exceptional instruction for a beginner, in my opinion. Way to go!
Thanks andrew! That’s awful nice of ya :) keep rockin buddy!
glad to have found this great instruction on this sad day as we mark the passing of our Brother - RlP Gregg Allman
Joe Jacovino very sad indeed rip to the legend Gregg
Excellent, simply excellent!! I was playing this inside five minutes! Hearty thanks from Scotland!!
There are hundreds of guitar instructors on youtube but your lessons help me the most - please don't ever stop.

Very nice tutorial. Excellent camera angle to see the entire instrument.
Great song. Thanks for the lesson.
Very well done lesson. Thanks!!
Man, thank you. I will be practicing this. Great teaching and I love this song.
Awesome boogeyman! Just in time for Halloween too! I love the intro of devils rejects with this song, it’s a pretty cool scene. Thanks man!!!

Nicely done😏💯🎸

Yeah, in certain cases, b flat and g minor can both work. Good call.
GREAT lesson. Thank you.
Excellent lesson !
Very helpful and easier to grasp lesson. Thanks
Richard Patik No problem Richard! Thanks for watchin' buddy!
As Joe mentions below, great timing!...Thx
Great lesson. Thank you

No problem Robert! Glad you liked :)

Many thanks. This was excellent
No problem Chris, thanks for watching buddy
Awesome instruction! Thanks! Always wondered about whether it was standard or some open tuning.
Yeah it almost sounds like open G or open E doesn't it? I love this song, it's so pretty. Check out the live version on youtube, amazing...
thank you for the lesson
Thank you so much got it!
Nice Anthony! Well done and glad to hear it! 👍🏻 stick with it and take on some more!
Thanks for the lesson brother!
No problem Francis! Keep watching my friend, any songs your request?
Cool .but...be careful about telling the audience it's the correct way. Gregg would differ. But nice anyway
Nice job,any chance you can do richoe samboras the answer? ;)
Thank you! I love this tune. You made it understandable to a rock head like me.
i guess it is kinda randomly asking but does anyone know of a good website to watch new tv shows online ?
@Reign Odin i watch on FlixZone. Just search on google for it =)
@Kayson Victor definitely, have been using flixzone for since april myself =)
@Kayson Victor Thanks, I signed up and it seems like they got a lot of movies there =) Appreciate it!!

markydevine No problem Marky!
Great tutorials. Is it possible for you to play the licks or songs before you break them down? Otherwise, you rock - thanks.

I've always played it in dropD
great lessons, can you move your camera angle to hit your chord hand, kinda a bad angle.
Ayyyy
Start by playing the song ❤
Will do Dave. This lesson was old but the new ones I do. Thanks
Couldn't find the link that you mentioned.
This is my favorite song by the Almond brothers, can you also do a lesson on the Pistachio brothers?
Nice job! That Gm type chord is actually an inverted Bb. Hendrix used it a lot and currently Keith Urban plays a lot of inverted chords.
@@KatalysstClub I'm not feeling the Am7 but maybe it's me...
Can you tell me what brand of strings you use on that guitar? Your guitar sounds so bright and clear.
Sure Ana! It's a MArtin DCX1e and the strings are key, I use Elixir Strings.. Checkout my new channel - I think you might like it ;) - ruclips.net/channel/UC3W7Gu8jbYMyPMALJ7wsvHA - Keep rockin!

Is that the x series or road series Martin?
When I saw them, they played D Gm7 Am7
Which one is your guitar?
Show
double drop d ?
thinkin the same high e tuned down to the D string not the E and A
Thanks and This angle is way to the side and low. It means that this always hides at least two fingers and most of the tips... Sad!
Please place the camera more in line with the guitar so we can actually see what your fingers are doing, thanks
Got it, this was an old video, my new channel the camera angle is perpendicular which gives you a better angle - ruclips.net/channel/UC3W7Gu8jbYMyPMALJ7wsvHA
Is it in standard tuning?
Yep. Standard works.

Gm7 barre
This is wrong. First of all you must put guitar in a D tune by lowering 6th and 1st string into the D tune- then you play what you are showing. You play chorus wrong. Gm C is the right chords
It's a Gm7 to C
Gm7 to c
You don't know what a Gm7 chord is? Seriously?
Bad angle
do not that your great dont let anyone tell you different
Why in the hell are you doing demonstrations of how to play any songs if you don't know the proper names of the chords you are showing people?
Thanks!
No problem!
