Seeing that woman weeping over her cat really hit me. I know exactly how terrifying it is thinking you may have lost your pet.
and knowing it was your fault that others were hurt! with something as stupid as lighting some incense and leaving it. I can't imagine how ashamed people must feel of themselves when this happens.
I knew its sad and all but when the fire fighters said berkenstocks i bursted out laughing she needed them to perfect her vsco self but im glad they found the cat cause i have 5 pet cats and if i lost one of them to a fire i would be soooo sad

This was such a sad episode :'( House fires are so brutal, everything you own in one place all gone the next. The way she called out for her kitty was so sad too, I'm sooo glad he's okay. It was really interesting to see them take the girl up to look for any possible remaining things. She handled that well, I would not be able stop crying seeing all my belongings turned to ash.
Great work by the firefighters.
Those firemen went above and beyond. They were so kind.

Those fire fighters were so sweet trying to help her find some things. Some people think she was being rude I think she was just trying to cope with loosing her things.
Yeah she was trying to cope with being a silly self centered witch who could care less what others go through to save her ungrateful self and the life of her cat of course.
Yikes... don't leave something that's on fire in your house when you aren't home! Glad the cat is safe and it was only one room and not the entire house.
Carrie Harlow they never said they weren’t home. Mistakes happen. I light candles and walk to other parts of the house, same thing.
At the end of the day be grateful for the things that made it out.

The fire, and accident ones are my favorite. But the old people that are cheery are just a blessing.
That cat looks so traumatized I hope she’s okay now. Also her not saying thank you to the firefighter who handed her the cat triggered me.
If my memory serves me right, I believe cats and dogs can both be traumatized from serious things like that

Oof the guilt you’d feel knowing you caused this much damage and loss. The other night I consciously left a candle lit downstairs, figured it’s close enough to running out on its own anyway, I’ll just let it burn up. Took a minute of laying in bed worrying about it for me to realize how stupid that was, went downstairs and blew it out. After seeing this I know I’ll never, ever do that again!

Is that how it works? Fortunately never have had to deal with something like this so I just assumed insurance had to pay for it?
@@ArtSeallion If something is your fault insurance companies will try everything they can not pay because it was your own negligence that caused it and not an uncontrollable event
i just recently experienced an apartment fire and three of my cats were trapped. one of them passed away,, one is lost,, and one is still here but he is traumatized.

I'm always so scared of my house catching fire, especially during the night. What scares me even more is that my pets or my family could be stuck inside. I have big windows easy to get out from my house in my room, but then I wouldn't be able to find my dog and my cat.. I'd have to take my keys and open the front door, but it's not the best idea.
Still.. My dog always sleeps in the living room and my cat could be anywhere around the house especially during the night.
Some nights I stay awake, scared and make plans on how I could escape and make sure everyone is safe too. I wouldn't want to live if I were the only survivor and I'd be destroyed if my dog, my cat or a member of my family perished.
I don't want to lose all the memories I have in this house too, I've lived here for my whole life.
Anyway, can't imagine how scared and destroyed they must feel. Hope for the best, I'm super glad the kitty made it out alive as well as all of you.
End of the day, it's just stuff. The kitty made it out okay, you made it out okay. Everything else can be replaced.

I never going to understand why americans build their houses with wood that the tornados and the fires can take instead of using concrete
efficiency, basically how quick the house can be built, also depending on what you would use instead of wood, concrete would make u get terrible signal and would not be insulated well
