I bought the Preto e Bronze a couple of months back and I must say the quality is top notch right down to the handmade leather strap. Each watch is made to order which lets be honest who else does that at this price point. It’s Beautifully packaged and worth every penny. 😉👌🏽

Great review, but I have to disagree with you: I really like the plain blue dial! 👌 I guess the price is high because of the Swiss movement! If they swapped the crap Sellita movement out for a much more reliable Miyota, and dropped a few hundred bucks off the price it’d be hard to beat!

As for the watch, it's a gem..........
that is horribly overpriced. It seems that too many folks want to make a big profit with their very first watch.I guess one in a thousand will succeed, but then disappear from the market, because no one will buy two watches of such mediocre design at that ridiculous price.
Why not try to break even, get your name and commitment for quality out there, then slowly bring us new designs, while slowly increasing the price to the point of a decent profit for your whole line.
It's hard to judge if it's the lack of business savvy, greed or just plain naivety, but I can say for sure, 99% it's the wrong strategy, and therefore 99% pay the price by seeing their dream evaporate because of ridiculous overpricing.
besides that, your review seems to be spot-on.
In my opinion, €300.00 to €350.00 for the first one or two watches would have been a lot more success-inspiring.

Thanks Hans I couldn't agree more. After having this watch in my hand I'd have to say the 6 to 800$ mark would be a very fair fit for this watch. Let's be honest Production cost is probably 250 or less

Fantastic video. I own the Escudo Ocean Seacrest back dial (Preto), and in all honesty, I can't say enough good things about it.
This watch sits in my collection next to my luxury Swiss Made pieces, and it does so very comfortably.
Gorgeous design, outstanding specifications, perfect fit & finish, superb quality, and tremendous value for money. In addition the purchasing experience, and customer service are just world-class.
Hats off to Simon and Richard, and the entire Escudo Team, for creating these fantastic pieces
