Just got my first bike 2 days ago and this is what I got. I've never rode a day of my life and drove home from the dealership. It really is a great bike to start on.
Totally agree on the 3rd gear, its the best. As of 8000 rpm in a 3rd gear it really pulls , u can feel the power of the bike, cant get enough of it;).......and yes people tend to think its a bigger bike then 300, its just awesome looking.
Ive just taken my Mussari Can apart for tinkering reasons,,, and this is a well made can!! Worth every penny!!! and what alot of ppl dont realise is if a cheaper can has the same diameter and length as a more expensive can,,, the performance is the same.... The engine doesnt know if its a Leo Vince or Danmoto,,, All it knows is 50mm diameter by 17inch is exactly the same!! I bought my Mussari cause its the only can that matched my "Custom" bike... That is a very nice 300 Lad... Keep Safe....
+Derek Lane yeah I bought it cuz I heard a guy riding with it and I loved the sound plus it was different! I've sold this bike and have got much faster bikes now ;)
Around 300 but insurance paid for it technically lol it's a different one and has a different censor so it costs more but I found one for our bikes for 180$-200$
cool video man, seriously thinkn ab getn my son a 2015. he sat on one yesterday and , lookn at the bike (green one) it definatly looks bigger than a 300 imo. have had custody of my son since rite b4 he turned 6 years old. put him on KTM's and Cobra 50cc dirt bikes then and we raced for, four years. hes never ever forgot or will forget the Great Times we had! but I do believe its time for him to switch up and start riding w/dad , on the street. 2016 KRT of this bike is 'Sweet' and prolly what I'll buy. thx for posting and 'Let the Good Times R-O-L-L'...
Great mods man. This is the one video where I was agreeing to every sentence you said cus I own a ninja 300 myself and I have the same opinions like you do, but mine is completely stock. My first aftermarket investment is on frame sliders
The Muscle Biker I might lol. Mods I want are the performance ones, not cosmetic unless getting a different rear seat or those tank pads reduce air resistance and increase speed, than I'm gonna stick with getting the k&n air filter, a performance exhaust, power commander, and anything else that adds horsepower. Not that it's slow, I just plan on keeping her for years, maybe forever, and as crazy and fearless as I tend to be, I feel like I'd end up getting myself killed on a 600+ cc bike, so I'd like to get the most out of my Ninja 300 with as many mods as I can get. How does that quick shifter work? Does it still require using the clutch?
Hey men... nice video!!... I have been wanting to own the Yamaha R3 for the past few months but I started to like the Ninja 300 more when I see videos like this.. 1 thing I like about the Ninja is how awesome it looks with the Angle Eye/Devils Eye installed I mean that thing looks badass... Can you post another video on how your Ninja looks at night with all the lightings you installed... I'll be looking forward to it!!! anyways, Awesome video I totally enjoyed it very much!!
Yeah totally man! I just need to restick some of the glowing lights and connect it to the battery and I'll do a video for it! You can check out the install video for the glowing lights I go through all the colors and stuff if you wanna look at they in the mean time
That's a good height for the 300 and you could always he it lowered if you needed to but my girlfriend is 5 foot and it's hard for her so I think you should be good
I also have the solid black 2014 Ninja 300 ABS model. Got it as my first street bike a few months ago. I love it to tears! If it wasn't snowing here in Idaho I'd be out riding. -_-
+MrZepolo it's very easy the only thing that is hard is find the plugs to replace. You only have to take off the side fairings. I did a video install on it check it out
Thanks for the video on the 300cc ninja. I am a first-time rider and was checking out some bikes like the CBR, Johnny Pag, and the Ninja. I think based on this vid, I'm going to go with a Ninja and upgrade it.
The left light running but the right ain't, is because of day time running headlamps I guess. Non the less it's a sic bike & loved your pain job and modification. And i really liked the way you explained the stuff really fun, keep up the good work
+Tushar Tikadar I heard it's cheaper for manufactures to make the headlights that way. The kit I had was suppose to keep both lights running but it never worked. Thanks for the support!
have you had your valves adjusted yet ? I think kawasaki recommends getting them done at 7000 miles, I'm at 8000 miles right now and it still feels like brand new, I'm wondering if it's ok to go to 10,000 miles then get them adjusted
I'll have to check the owners manual for the 300 but for my ZX I get them adjusted at 26000 miles. Lower cc bikes get them done 16-20k but I'll have to double check
what about the sticky red reflectors on the wheel? where did you get those at and model? thanks in advanced and thanks for the reply on the other comment
KrisLucky07 Nice i got a 2014 also all black monster decals shorty levers delkavec carbon fiber exhaust integrated led tail light smoked zero gravity wind screen got it new 6000$ Has 8000 miles
+FIVE STAR POKEMON that's sweet mines all black too got the zero gravity wind screen as well and looking into an integrated turn signal with the sequencer other than that I have that blue reflective tape around my rims and put blue/green neo chrome tint on my head lights probs gunna hit 7k tomorrow haha
hey again, thanks for the answer btw! Like this? www.amazon.es/Protectores-motor-Puig-Kawasaki-Ninja/dp/B01MYZJZT8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1500393972&sr=8-1&keywords=frame+sliders+ninja+300
Very nice bike i think i may get the ninja now :D question does the bar end mirrors make it harder to lane split since it sticks out more now opposed to the stock mirrors?
oh okay :D i drove like 50 miles to the dealership yesterday with the honda grom and i was lane splitting but then as i was doing it i thought to myself what if this was a ninja 300 it would be more difficult and on top of that i like the bar end mirrors more so that would make it even mroe difficult :(
Can't lie 300 are very nice bikes I recently purchased mine last year 2017 winter edition abs model an it has been the right choice so far just put about 2500 miles on it .....any good mods you recommend
quick shifter, did you install it yourself? so is that just help you shifting without clutch while you riding, and you need to clutch in when stop right?
You never get bored of the lack of power? Like i understand learning the power of a bike and starting at 300 for your first one (i am working on getting my first bike) but is it not worth it to start with lets say a cbr 600rr?
I sold this bike a while back. If you never ride with other people or don't test ride a 600 you'll be happy with it but until you feel the power of a 600 you don't want to go back lol looking back I probably would've started on a ninja 650 or fz6
I was literally just looking at Ninja 300 reviews, couldn't have times this video any better. What make did you say your exhaust was hard to make out what you said in the video?
That's the one regret I have of not doing. I have heard nothing but great things about the Diablo Corsa iii by Perelli Typically on bigger bikes they don't last long but on the light lower powered 300 they will last a while and they have plenty of grip
first of all, beautiful bike brother! I have a question about the HIDs. which BK Moto kit did you get? the $209 regular kit or the $269 H1 kit? I really like the look of the amber halos. I want to achieve something similar to that.
+Ethan Barrientos I got the most expensive one. The Halo, Demon Eye and the HID kit honestly I would stay away from them. I found out "boris" or the guy who sells them just resells the exact kits on ebay for double the cost. The only upside for him is that he makes the install a little easier. Search Bi xenon HID kits for sportbikes and those are the ones he sells.
I'm 21, not married with no tickets and clean record and I pay 400$ for a year with liability but it's like 100/300 for liability so if I hit a Lamborghini then I'm covered lol don't get full coverage it's just too much
+WA7S0N Slip on. It's not required for slip on but it's always best to tune it since it allows best performance. My zx6r has a full system and has been Dyno tuned with power commander V
+The Muscle Biker Thanks for the quick response man. I really enjoy your videos so I subscribed. I'm going to be purchasing a Ninja 300 within the next few months and was trying to learn all I can about the bikes and accessory options. I've watched tons of videos and your exhaust sounds the best by far, so I'm going to go this route as well. Did you de-cat the headers or are they still stock? Also, how big of a difference did it make now that it's tuned vs when it was stock, and about how much does it cost to have it Dyno tuned? Sorry for all the questions man, I just love your setup and that's what I'm trying to work towards.
WA7S0N The ninja 300 has stock headers it was just the can that got replaced. Dyno tuning can range from 250-350 for 3 pulls. if you want more pulls then it will cost more. Your bike can bring out a couple more HP and it generally runs better economically as well
Sorry I meant with regards to 300cc vs 600cc. Some guys justify the 300cc because of lower insurance rates, yet spend a grand or more on mods in order to boost hp.
not that it matters, but is the tac different on different years of bikes? I have tenths on mine and it's 2016, so I was curious if you have 1005.9 miles on your bike, or 10,059. You said you have 10,059, but that's why I'm asking.
+ebubekir binici I would recommend a different one and it's called tec spec. You can see it on my other bike (zx6r) in my recent videos. It's a rubber material and grips well. The one on the ninja 300 is okay but does not give any grip and scratches easily
Hey man thanks for vid. Wish I lived there.....in the mountains and water...perfect. Anyway what do you pay for insurance on the 636? you said you found a gap? I'm wanting the 636 and my 300. also don't you get a discount for having more than one bike
Yeah I searched 7 different agents with insurance. Until I found the cheapest one. Get higher deductibles. Multiple vehicles gives you a discount. Safe record along with the safety course I took. I pay 800$ a year. Full coverage for the ZX and just liability on the 300. Also a student discount since I'm in college. If you can pay 60-80 a month I think it's a really good deal. I might change it though and get high medical payments along with accessories just in case and then no collision coverage but I'll have to see. Hope this helps! I'm also 21 and not married which that's the biggest thing on insurance
+The Muscle Biker thanks for replyin man. I'm 24 married and have progressive but haven't found any decent rates for the 636.....no wrecks tickets anything. but $444 is cheapest I found a month. Ridiculous
Try statefarm that's who I have and they were the cheapest. Some companies were going to charge me 300$ a month just play around with coverage. Collision and comprehensive are going to cost the most then medical payments. You're married so it shouldn't cost that much at all plus you're closer to age 25. Those are huge discounts. I had Allstate and they were good until they tripled my premium for literally no reason. They couldn't give me a reason. Good luck though you should find a lot cheaper tho
Jason Cheung at the time it was Allstate the best insurance companies are ones you can do multiple policies through like auto home life and renters insurance
would have got that over my 250 just couldn't find a good one cheap. My 250 is still super fun tho. rode my friends cbr 600rr and that thing goes. gets up to 100 in seconds. thinking I'll go with a older r6 (price range , but they still look nice) but the 250 is still super fun...and I get such a kick out of having a shorty pipe . it's hilarious loud then pops and crackles like crazy
About 8 months to a year. Mainly because of insurance and finding a good deal on a clean bike well taken care of bike. I did have a 250 before the 300 though for 4 months
I have similar set up, wish I had quick shift, but why no power commander made a huge difference for me on mine, look almost identical but I haven't sprung for the 400 halos just 10K HIDs
I'm 6'2" and I bought my 300 a few months back. I do make it looks smaller than most other people, but I've seen my reflection in windows and doesn't look funny. lol I'd say go for it.
Out of curiosity do you think being 6'4" would be enough to make the bike uncomfortable? Don't really care if it looks funny or w.e since it's for me, but being uncomfortable would probably be a deal breaker if its bad.
+The Muscle Biker nice! Mississippi here...no canyons 🙁 If you get out of the city there are some roads that go through forests and there really fun to ride but dangerous. Deer will jump out and you never see them coming...anyways, nice bike!
Very true them deer are killers! Lol I've been to Mississippi a few times and went on the river too the thing is huge! And thanks man glad you enjoyed the vid :D
hey man I used to detail high-end cars like Maseratis Lamborghinis Exedra comma what does bugs will eat through your clear coat and stain it and the only way to get it off would be to polish it. So this is really expensive way to help prevent stuff like that and that would be to get a quartz coating put on on a car cost couple hundred bucks but on a bike and be super cheap and you can buy the product yourself and I can tell you how to apply if you needed help with that but you can just Google that shitt. but then those bugs will just slide right off when you had it with water and you won't have to worry about having to polish out your car all the time plus the courts coating helps prevent scratches and it's essentially a wax that lasts for 2 years or 600 car washes
+Kaleb Malik (NEOhippy) I've got a couple videos on using a high end wax and that helped a lot and then I just use bug off to get ride of it seems to work fine but I sold this bike a while ago
How many rpm does it sit at on the highway? I'm not old enough for one yet but that's Beacuse I'm not sure what to get. Thinking about a duke 390. Should I get the ninja or the duke?
+Declan Bee at that point it would just be preference on which one you like more for looks and electronics I haven't ridden the rc but I bet I would've bought it if I rode it
+BDKJOSE yeah it is stock I would get a bigger tire than stock I the back since it's easy to get tithe edge of the tire so going a size up would be better but keep the front the same since its for maneuverability
beauty is in the eye of the beholder and this can't be more true when it comes to this video. in my eyes, a beautiful bike has long stock mirrors, stock tail fender, and stock exhaust, if it doesn't have those, the bike is ugly.
How much was ur bike when u bought it... I just completed my MSF class and I'm looking for a used or new 300... but everyone wants like 5k for a used 300 with 5k miles on it... any advice?? I really want to ride!!!! Lol
I ended up selling this bike for like 4K almost two years ago so you should find one for cheaper than 5k that’s too much on a learning bike that you could possible drop or crash
The Muscle Biker yeah I just got off the phone with a guy who's selling his 2017 ninja 300 with 2.4k miles for $3,100. Best part hes a sheriff's deputy. Haha he has a Ducati 1299 panigale. Looking forward to start riding!!!! Really good channel by the way. Definitely subbed. I'm stoked.
i have my ninja300 for almost a year and the first change i am going to do is the tyres and a dubble bubble windscreen from kawasaki then i will do a full leovince corsa exhaust on it and k&n filter. i have had a lot of bikes this is my favorit :)
35 on the backwheel, so you gain a lot, on paper they claim more horsepower because they measure it on hte crankshaft, but to get al the horses at the back wheel some of them get lost in the transmission and gearing,
Yeah either this or a CBR 500 or a RC390 something with a little more cc but it can handle me and my brother on it it and he is 6'1" and that's well over 300lb I would sit on one and see if the rider position is good for you
I have a 2016 ninja 650 and first gear is like that for me also. I have to shift into 2nd while I'm going into the turn. I love my bike though, its my first bike I own. Looking into ninja 1000 or the Z900 next
is $1200 a year a lot for the insurance quote I got from progressive. I'm 22, never had a ticket for accident in the past 4 years but I don't have a ML yet. I was quoted for a 2016 Ninja 300.
+Simran .T yeah that's very expensive I pay 1400 for a 1000cc Italian. I just posted a video on 10 tips to save money on insurance. The 300 should be around 400$ a year
got a 2013 SE ABS version. waiting for my Mussari! installed a Motodynamic integrated tail light and fender eliminator and it looks sweet! getting around the corner from 1st to 2nd is kind of a bitch!
+Shawn Murphy miles don't really matter. Just makes sure they have the valve adjustment done. Every 12-15k miles they should be done. Under 50k miles but not a lot of people have that many
if you can afford a larger bike go for it. The 650 is just as good of a beginner bike and your 0-60 will be under 4 seconds. That said I wish I'd have just got the zx6r to start instead of the 650 ninja.
Holiness Preacher it was up to the insurance lady. A lady tipped it over in a parking lot and her insurance paid for it and since the ninja 300 just came out at the time it had a higher value so it didn’t get totaled out
what mirrors r those. have 14 300 se and want bar and mirrors. thinking crg mirrors. can u do a video on them or foment back.No one has done a video on bar and mirrors on the 300
+theo grassi I don't have a video on it but I did a playlist of modded out a sportbike. They are universal mirrors off of Ebay and the link is in those videos
I would recommend a ninja 650, FZ6 or CBR650 those are all sport oriented bikes but they don't have as much power as a 600cc sport bike. Which ever you buy don't buy a new or like new buy a couple of years old bike cuz you'll more than likely to drop it. You're next bike can be a good one after you're more comfortable
Just got my first bike 2 days ago and this is what I got. I've never rode a day of my life and drove home from the dealership. It really is a great bike to start on.
Love how the front lights make the front look like an owl
Totally agree on the 3rd gear, its the best. As of 8000 rpm in a 3rd gear it really pulls , u can feel the power of the bike, cant get enough of it;).......and yes people tend to think its a bigger bike then 300, its just awesome looking.
2:09 looks like Toothless from How To Train Your Dragon.
You should see my other bike lol
Hahah yes! xD
Lol, yes, you made me look
How to train your Ninja.
It's a Kawaiisaki
Looks amazing
those lights look like an owl
Amazing bike and with mountains in background to make the scenery, very cool :)
Ive just taken my Mussari Can apart for tinkering reasons,,, and this is a well made can!! Finally a US rider who understands the pain of us UK riders 😂 awesome bike dude
I need 3rd gear on my 125 for roundabouts in the UK. As a learner bike, that's dangerous needing to shift during a turn.
+6Twisted yeah for sure I always have to be in 2nd or 3rd for a slower turn it's much smoother
How much was the quick shifter?
Around 300 but insurance paid for it technically lol it's a different one and has a different censor so it costs more but I found one for our bikes for 180$-200$
The Muscle Biker nice yeah thats a nice feature that all the new bikes have so for only $200 that pretty sweet :D
I know I'll definitely put one on the bike in the future they make the bike sound soooo good
+The Muscle Biker yes indeed :D
+The Muscle Biker what exust do you have on it
cool video man, seriously thinkn ab getn my son a 2015. he sat on one yesterday and , lookn at the bike (green one) it definatly looks bigger than a 300 imo. have had custody of my son since rite b4 he turned 6 years old. put him on KTM's and Cobra 50cc dirt bikes then and we raced for, four years. hes never ever forgot or will forget the Great Times we had! but I do believe its time for him to switch up and start riding w/dad , on the street.

Sweet bike dude. Can't wait to get one. This is the exact bike I'm looking to get.
You won't regret it!!
I would definitely love to buy this bike for myself as a graduation gift haha, it catches my eye a lot when I see your videos on the 300
It's definitely an eye catcher
Sweet mods Bro :D insurance is great isnt it :D :D :D
You're older so it's cheaper for you lol I'll get cheaper insurance one day I'll just keep dreaming
JoeGo101 lol joe i watch all of ur videoos hi
Which company did you get your insurance from?
Nice bike, bro! One of the best Ninja 300s out there! Can't wait until I can put some mods on mine. Just got her a few weeks ago. LOVE riding her.
+E.A. Hawley don't be too crazy like I was lol I ended up getting a zx6r not too long after and also a Rsv4
How does that quick shifter work? Does it still require using the clutch?
The bike reminds me of toothless from how to train your dragon for some reason. Iol
Haha that's the name of my cbr300r toothless because it looks like a night fury lol
+Hillary Thompson lol yeah I get that a lot too
__ Bilak_78__ I know thisbisb2 years old but, I was thinking the same thing! Lol
Eyy fellow utahan here too thanks for the review I’m actually looking into getting my first bike this summer
Hey men... nice video!!... +The Muscle Biker will do... thanks!!
Never ridden a bike and thinking about getting a 300. How tall are you? I'm 5'5 and concerned about the stability I'll have when putting my feet down.
That's a good height for the 300 and you could always he it lowered if you needed to but my girlfriend is 5 foot and it's hard for her so I think you should be good
The Muscle Biker Cool, thanks. Awesome vlogs by the way. Just watched the one where you helped the car at the light. You're officially my biker hero.
Haha thanks man :D
go to a dealer, and throw a leg over......
ayeee love the gramatik at the end bro!
+Max Ellis it's good stuff!
I also have the solid black 2014 Ninja 300 ABS model. Got it as my first street bike a few months ago. I love it to tears! If it wasn't snowing here in Idaho I'd be out riding. -_-
Oh yeah I'm in the same boat but I guess it snows there a lot more but I'd love to do a state wide trip up there it's beautiful
How hard was it to install the quick shifter?
+MrZepolo it's very easy the only thing that is hard is find the plugs to replace. You only have to take off the side fairings. I did a video install on it check it out
alright cool thanks
What aftermarket exhaust? I couldnt hear you when you said it. It sounds great.
It's called Musarri and I believe they are made in Australia but I got it off of eBay for 140$
+The Muscle Biker Thanks bro, i found them :)
Thanks for the video on the 300cc ninja. I am a first-time rider and was checking out some bikes like the CBR, Johnny Pag, and the Ninja. I think based on this vid, I'm going to go with a Ninja and upgrade it.
+zer08927 yeah no problem man! Glad it helps! I do have some other videos on it as well
The left light running but the right ain't, is because of day time running headlamps I guess. Non the less it's a sic bike & loved your pain job and modification. And i really liked the way you explained the stuff really fun, keep up the good work

Hey lad! Did you do all the upgrades on your own? If no,t which ones did you do on your own?
Yeah I did all
what about the sticky red reflectors on the wheel? where did you get those at and model? thanks in advanced and thanks for the reply on the other comment
Those are made by CustomTaylor33 I believe I got them on Amazon but eBay may have them too
thank you bro and i like your videos. you should do more
I have this bike also and everyone asks me is it a 600 lol
Haha I got a ninja 300 too and people ask me that all the timeeeee
+KrisLucky07 lol it's a great bike what year is yours?
+FIVE STAR POKEMON 2014 bought it used for 3500 with 4k on it looks brand new just put a yoshi r77 on it
KrisLucky07 Nice i got a 2014 also all black monster decals shorty levers delkavec carbon fiber exhaust integrated led tail light smoked zero gravity wind screen got it new 6000$ Has 8000 miles
+FIVE STAR POKEMON that's sweet mines all black too got the zero gravity wind screen as well and looking into an integrated turn signal with the sequencer other than that I have that blue reflective tape around my rims and put blue/green neo chrome tint on my head lights probs gunna hit 7k tomorrow haha
hey dude where do u bought your crash pads? i have a ninja 300 as well and i can't find it...
Nice bike!
+André Simões they are for sale on eBay or Amazon
+André Simões they are called frame sliders
hey again, thanks for the answer btw!
Like this?
www.amazon.es/Protectores-motor-Puig-Kawasaki-Ninja/dp/B01MYZJZT8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1500393972&sr=8-1&keywords=frame+sliders+ninja+300
What do you think is better? The mussari exhaust or an m4 carbon? Which do you think is louder?
+cody edmunds the Musarri would be louder. I would recommend you save your money for your next bike though
Very nice bike i think i may get the ninja now :D question does the bar end mirrors make it harder to lane split since it sticks out more now opposed to the stock mirrors?
A lot of people have the bar ends and lane split. I can't lane split where I live though
oh okay :D i drove like 50 miles to the dealership yesterday with the honda grom and i was lane splitting but then as i was doing it i thought to myself what if this was a ninja 300 it would be more difficult and on top of that i like the bar end mirrors more so that would make it even mroe difficult :(
pinoyams They do make some that are smaller
The Muscle Biker oh ok thanks. quick question if i were going to lower the bike 1 inch back and front what lowering kit would you reccomend ?
pinoyams I'm not sure on that since I've never lowered a bike
Fun and cool vid bro! Here's a video suggestion...
Top 5 go to mods for a bike/beginner bike (:
Wow that's a good one I'll probably do that next! Thanks man
Can't lie 300 are very nice bikes I recently purchased mine last year 2017 winter edition abs model an it has been the right choice so far just put about 2500 miles on it .....any good mods you recommend
I recommend that you don’t put a dime into it and spend your money on a 600 or 1000 don’t do what I did
I just recently bought the winter edition too! i love it, and its definitely a head turner
got a 2017 ninja 300 abs! love it! just hit 900 miles
quick shifter, did you install it yourself?
so is that just help you shifting without clutch while you riding, and you need to clutch in when stop right?
+Jim Yiu only on hard acceleration you can use it. You still have to use the clutch at stops and downshifting
Dude it sounds great!!
I was literally just looking at Ninja 300 reviews, couldn't have times this video any better. What make did you say your exhaust was hard to make out what you said in the video?
+Kmoto94 Musarri they are made in Australia I believe very inexpensive compare to others as well
What are some good replacement tires for the 300? I don't hate the stock tires, but I don't exactly feel like they are great either.
That's the one regret I have of not doing. I have heard nothing but great things about the Diablo Corsa iii by Perelli Typically on bigger bikes they don't last long but on the light lower powered 300 they will last a while and they have plenty of grip
Hey, what camera were you using for your closeups? Its really clear man.
Sony A6000
Quickchifter thanks for that Info bro its awesome.
Nice and love your content I'm getting a ninja 300
first of all, beautiful bike brother!
Search Bi xenon HID kits for sportbikes and those are the ones he sells.
bro!! important question!!! how old are you? and how much is your insurance? planning to get 1 really soon
I'm 21, not married with no tickets and clean record and I pay 400$ for a year with liability but it's like 100/300 for liability so if I hit a Lamborghini then I'm covered lol don't get full coverage it's just too much
I have the same bike...Awesome bike! I pay $120 full coverage for a year.
+Chris Christopher Wow That is really cheap!! I ending up getting 400 a year for full coverage
thanks for the upload bro :) ride safe.
+thebiker300 Anytime man! comment if you ever have a video topic as well
Is your Musarri exhaust a slip on or is it a full exhaust setup? Also, did you tune your bike?
+WA7S0N Slip on. It's not required for slip on but it's always best to tune it since it allows best performance. My zx6r has a full system and has been Dyno tuned with power commander V
+The Muscle Biker Thanks for the quick response
man. I really enjoy your videos so I subscribed. I'm going to be
purchasing a Ninja 300 within the next few months and was trying to
learn all I can about the bikes and accessory options. I've watched tons
of videos and your exhaust sounds the best by far, so I'm going to go
this route as well.
Did you de-cat the headers or are they still
stock? Also, how big of a difference did it make now that it's tuned vs
when it was stock, and about how much does it cost to have it Dyno
tuned?
Sorry for all the questions man, I just love your setup and that's what I'm trying to work towards.
WA7S0N The ninja 300 has stock headers it was just the can that got replaced. Dyno tuning can range from 250-350 for 3 pulls. if you want more pulls then it will cost more. Your bike can bring out a couple more HP and it generally runs better economically as well
+The Muscle Biker Thanks man, I appreciate the help.
WA7S0N anytime!
Hey muscle biker! i havent started riding yet but how much insurance did u pay for your first bike man?thank you
My first bike was a 250cc and it was like 400 for the year full coverage
Question is, with the cost of all the mods do you save that much money with insurance?
James Spurgeon no mods don’t give you any benefit unless it’s ABS
Sorry I meant with regards to 300cc vs 600cc. Some guys justify the 300cc because of lower insurance rates, yet spend a grand or more on mods in order to boost hp.
I'm curious as to where you bought the bike. I'm not aware of any Kawasaki dealers the valley, and the only thing I can think of is buying off of KSL.
+Brandon Hunter there is white knuckle, duff Shelly look on KSL on the new bike page and those are typically the dealers
not that it matters, but is the tac different on different years of bikes? I have tenths on mine and it's 2016, so I was curious if you have 1005.9 miles on your bike, or 10,059. You said you have 10,059, but that's why I'm asking.
+MJ Noob yeah I put 10k on it
What kind of tank pad is that? Does it damage the paint on the gas tank ? Or move around when you rice?
+ebubekir binici I would recommend a different one and it's called tec spec. You can see it on my other bike (zx6r) in my recent videos. It's a rubber material and grips well. The one on the ninja 300 is okay but does not give any grip and scratches easily
Hey mate I know im late but is this a slip on or full exhaust?
Slip on
Hey man thanks for vid.
+The Muscle Biker thanks man and keep the vids comin
Where was this filmed? Scenery looks dope
I'm in Utah
Which insurance company do you use? 350 a year full coverage, mine is 35 per month minimum coverage
Jason Cheung at the time it was Allstate the best insurance companies are ones you can do multiple policies through like auto home life and renters insurance
The Muscle Biker thanks buddy!
would have got that over my 250 just couldn't find a good one cheap.
+sheddinglies yeah I wanna keep the ninja 300 but it's just sitting money lol you'll love moving up to a 600 for sure though
+The Muscle Biker ya man almost able to get one. not sure how long it'll take to sell mine in the winter tho
How much was the quick shifter? And did you install it yourself?
+Doogeruoy Sihtdaer yeah I did the install and it was 300$
your bike is really sick
Thanks man :D
How long did you ride this before moving up :)?
About 8 months to a year. Mainly because of insurance and finding a good deal on a clean bike well taken care of bike. I did have a 250 before the 300 though for 4 months
Wherever you live is so beautiful!
Hey what yoke nut did you use?? Can't find one that would work with the ram mount anywhere!
+Matt G I sold the bike 8 months ago so I don't remember but look on Amazon for a triple tree but for the ninja 300 yoshimhra makes one
I have similar set up, wish I had quick shift, but why no power commander made a huge difference for me on mine, look almost identical but I haven't sprung for the 400 halos just 10K HIDs
I'm 6"2 I'm a beginner rider do you think the Ninja 300 is a good size for me ?
I would say a ninja 650 might be a better fit
nah , just check out a mega mall and scope around for what you like . there's really no way of telling you an exact model
I'm 6'2" and I bought my 300 a few months back. I do make it looks smaller than most other people, but I've seen my reflection in windows and doesn't look funny. lol
I'd say go for it.
Cutpurse, Master of Disguise I bought the 300 about 3 weeks ago and I feel great on it lol its comfortable as well. excellent motorcycle overall
Out of curiosity do you think being 6'4" would be enough to make the bike uncomfortable? Don't really care if it looks funny or w.e since it's for me, but being uncomfortable would probably be a deal breaker if its bad.
I like how if you look at the bottom of the thumbnail you can see the video progress bar thing.
Dude that's some kick ass country with the lake and the mountains in the background! Where are you?
Yeah it's awesome canyon riding here and it's Utah :D
+The Muscle Biker nice! Mississippi here...no canyons 🙁 If you get out of the city there are some roads that go through forests and there really fun to ride but dangerous. Deer will jump out and you never see them coming...anyways, nice bike!
Very true them deer are killers! Lol I've been to Mississippi a few times and went on the river too the thing is huge! And thanks man glad you enjoyed the vid :D
Where are you from because that view is amazing, and those mountains look fun!
+Jovan Spasic Utah in America :D kinda close to the grand canyon
The Muscle Biker Well I must do a roadtrip to Utah with a couple of friends from D.C. 😊
hey man I used to detail high-end cars like Maseratis Lamborghinis Exedra comma what does bugs will eat through your clear coat and stain it and the only way to get it off would be to polish it.
+The Muscle Biker hey chords Cody is really the way to go.
Very nice, I am considering getting one.
+mrcaptaincrazy very great bike to learn on!
How many rpm does it sit at on the highway? I'm not old enough for one yet but that's Beacuse I'm not sure what to get. Thinking about a duke 390. Should I get the ninja or the duke?
+Declan Bee at that point it would just be preference on which one you like more for looks and electronics I haven't ridden the rc but I bet I would've bought it if I rode it
Is the rear tire stock size? Ever consider a 150 or 160 rear tire?
+BDKJOSE yeah it is stock I would get a bigger tire than stock I the back since it's easy to get tithe edge of the tire so going a size up would be better but keep the front the same since its for maneuverability
it looks fuckn awesome
Great video!! I love my 300!!
beauty is in the eye of the beholder and this can't be more true when it comes to this video. in my eyes, a beautiful bike has long stock mirrors, stock tail fender, and stock exhaust, if it doesn't have those, the bike is ugly.
+Matteo Bassini lol
I'm stoked.
Can you link sites for
Radiator guard: 40, Header guard R&G 80, Seat cowl: 50 and T-Rex Frame sliders: 130.
Thank you
ruclips.net/video/-ePnIOZ3LdQ/видео.html look in the description of that video!
Thank you and you may want to look at them
www.indiegogo.com/projects/roame-zeros-wireless-blinker-brake-motorcycle-shoe--2/x/15041811#/
umang dalsania I wouldn't buy them. I have track rated Alipestars SMX6 boots. They offer more protection.
Good to know that, TY.
i have my ninja300 for almost a year and the first change i am going to do is the tyres and a dubble bubble windscreen from kawasaki
then i will do a full leovince corsa exhaust on it and k&n filter. i have had a lot of bikes this is my favorit :)
+Sean Van Vaerenbergh Yeah If I keep mine a little longer I'll get the Super Corsas
take the full line chip it on the dyno and you will gaine up to 40 HP and lose 4.6 kilo's of weight
I bet! What is stock? 36?
35 on the backwheel, so you gain a lot, on paper they claim more horsepower because they measure it on hte crankshaft, but to get al the horses at the back wheel some of them get lost in the transmission and gearing,
I bet you can even do more check out Spacepod his ninja 300 has 52 if I remember correctly :D
Awesome video man...
Thanks man :D
For 6'1 265lbs, would you recommend this for someones first bike?
Yeah either this or a CBR 500 or a RC390 something with a little more cc but it can handle me and my brother on it it and he is 6'1" and that's well over 300lb I would sit on one and see if the rider position is good for you
sick bike! is this saratoga springs?
+Mitchell Russon Sure is! :D love the lake view
Awesome I live right near here!
I have a 2016 ninja 650 and first gear is like that for me also. I have to shift into 2nd while I'm going into the turn. I love my bike though, its my first bike I own. Looking into ninja 1000 or the Z900 next
In my option the ninja 650 is the absolute best starter bike
@@Shimmoda ive had a good learning experience so far on my 650. I agree with you
is $1200 a year a lot for the insurance quote I got from progressive.
The 300 should be around 400$ a year
Thanks for the reply. Very appreciated, definitely earned a sub from me. I'll look into that video for sure.
got a 2013 SE ABS version. waiting for my Mussari! installed a Motodynamic integrated tail light and fender eliminator and it looks sweet!
getting around the corner from 1st to 2nd is kind of a bitch!
+zumx3 yeah that's where the 15 tooth front sprocket helps a ton!
+The Muscle Biker it'll be in my future mods. I just saw your vid on installing the demon eyes. Not looking forward to that one lol
zumx3 lol that was by far the hardest one haha good luck with it man
did you change your blinker fluid? whats the top end on that 92 mph?
Yeah full synthetic actually and it's blinked correctly ever since I sold it and I topped it out at 120
sweet what re u ridding now?
09 Kawasaki zx6r and a 2013 Aprilia RSV4 Factory SBK edition
nice i have a 12 rsv4 factory...love it
Nice man! It's been my dream bike for a long time haha stay safe!
lights look like an owl lol but awesome
when buying a used bike? how many miles should u stay under?
+Shawn Murphy miles don't really matter. Just makes sure they have the valve adjustment done. Every 12-15k miles they should be done. Under 50k miles but not a lot of people have that many
So the main thing im worried about is the speed! Without modding, could this thing get up and go?
Of course I believe a 0-60 is around 5.5 bone stock and it can get up to highway speeds just fine a big difference from a 250cc
Hey man! Thanks for the reply! And thanks for the answer! Sweet ass bike btw!
Np! Thanks :D
if you can afford a larger bike go for it. The 650 is just as good of a beginner bike and your 0-60 will be under 4 seconds. That said I wish I'd have just got the zx6r to start instead of the 650 ninja.
Yeah I was looking into the 650 but I figured just go all the way lol I knew nothing about bikes that's why I started small
You have any links for the Lights you hooked up to it?
Holiness Preacher you can get them on eBay they are Bi Xenon lights with CCFL rings on them
Im looking at getting a 300 ninja 2013 or a suzuki bandit 400 but would like to make them faster after a while.
Hey bud what model of zero gravity screen do u have? Like which type?
+Angry Medic I think it was the corsa one
Where do you live? That looks like such a fun place to ride.
Utah! :D great dirt rides here too we've got everything!
Wait do you still have to use the clutch manually to shift down in gears with the quick shifter?
+Zachary Sorrell yes correct it's only with shifting up with the quickshifter
Thank you! The Muscle Biker
How did you get insurance money without giving up your bike as totalled?
Holiness Preacher it was up to the insurance lady. A lady tipped it over in a parking lot and her insurance paid for it and since the ninja 300 just came out at the time it had a higher value so it didn’t get totaled out
what mirrors r those. have 14 300 se and want bar and mirrors. thinking crg mirrors. can u do a video on them or foment back.No one has done a video on bar and mirrors on the 300
+theo grassi I don't have a video on it but I did a playlist of modded out a sportbike. They are universal mirrors off of Ebay and the link is in those videos
3:43 what are those things? and what do they do?
Thx for the review! New subbie and LOL@ Samuel L!
Would you recommend a 300 or 600 for first bike?
I would recommend a ninja 650, FZ6 or CBR650 those are all sport oriented bikes but they don't have as much power as a 600cc sport bike. Which ever you buy don't buy a new or like new buy a couple of years old bike cuz you'll more than likely to drop it. You're next bike can be a good one after you're more comfortable
The Muscle Biker Okay sweet thank you!
thats pretty sweet for coverage, mines at 185 for a full year on my 03 ninja 250, im looking to buy a new 300
+Happysour yeah there so many factors with insurance but the lower cc bikes are great on insurance!
