- We were the first paying passengers onboard Virgin Voyages Valiant Lady - we stayed in a rockstar suite. It was a Sweet Aft Suite with a massive terrace. Cabin number 13009A on deck thirteen.
Join me as I give you my first impressions and give you a full cabin tour, we explore the differences from other cruise ships. We look at the differences between this and Scarlet Lady. I show you the changes to the mini bar and the fabulous marble bathroom.

Hello David! Question about the Sweet Aft Suites - do you feel the rumble of the engines in these rooms? I am curious about this class of room and the Cheeky Corner Suites, but I have stayed aft in other cruise lines and felt a rumble in the aft that I didn't like. I have no problems staying forward or mid it was just in the aft that the rumble disturbed my sleep, etc. Just wondering what you noticed. Thanks for any insight!
Hi and thanks for watching. I can’t say I felt that shudder of the engines… I know exactly what you mean though. I would certainly stay in one of those suites again. The balcony doesn’t get any sun though, which didn’t bother us, but if you like sun on the balcony, probably best to choose a room midship. Enjoy Virgin Voyages if you decide to book! David

Wow, Mr David, you’re a rockstar of the cruise world. How was her lady ship? This is the sort of a suite for my honeymoon with Lucy’s sexy rockstar uncle in my dreams. In real life I’ll have to share my windowless cabin with my 3 female dogs and a girl teddy (Bree-Tanya from P&O) for our hen party. Hope it’s got a black flannel also in my shower room so I won’t have to bring mine. Please report on food as well. I’ve received my test kit today but can’t install its app on my tablet so I’ll take it to the shop I bought it in my local. June of London

Re Sky Princess for 11/06. If you haven't, check the prices. They have greatly reduced. We phoned and gained upgrade and a refund. If you do try let us know how you get on.

Just a bit more to fill in if you are looking to do the same. They had to cancel the old deluxe balcony, lost on board spend and then re booked cheaper minisuite and a £100 admin fee. Still with a refund difference of £780. Good luck.

Yes, the room certainly is funky. Personally, I loved it, but am also very at ease with ‘regular’ cabins in other ships. David
