The cheapest MSC cruises are in the $330 range last I checked, but you still have to pay taxes/port fees/gratuities which could be close to $200. A different experience than Virgin in many ways but I still had a great time!

I was lucky that I could afford to go shopping for some new clothes, and eventually I got reimbursed from the airline and luckily got the bag back a few days later. I’ll have to find some more bad jokes for the next one. 😂 We are back on Virgin again soon!

What was the minimum bid for your brilliant suite then? Did you bid over their minimum?
It was just under $2k and we bid just over, probably around $150 more but that probably wasn’t necessary. They’ve had higher capacity lately because of the delayed fourth ship so it may be tougher to get an upgrade over the next year.
I have a question for you. In this video, I noticed you took your mom who stayed in a regular room. How is she able to access Richard's rooftop with you? My cousin is coming along on our cruise and we have a suite. I also also noticed how she got on the cruise with you as a VIP. Did you just call beforehand? That would be so awesome if she was able to have the same access. By the way, loved your video, and we are about to embark on our second ever virgin cruise, for three full weeks
Our rockstar agent gave her a card for access with us, and we asked and they let her check in with us too. We were traveling with other friends and they did not get access, just her mom. I’m jealous you’re going for three weeks, we just did five days on Scarlet Lady last week and it wasn’t nearly enough!

How much time do you typically get in the cities you visit?
Typically they leave between 5-7pm but sometimes they do overnights in places like Ibiza.
