- #Intimidator is larger scale #hypercoaster built by Bolligerandmabillard that’s often has the nickname InTRIMidator due to the consistent trim brakes on the climax of each of its hills. However this differs from the others due to it being a front row ride not a back row. These staggered trains slow more push to the front row resulting in better airtime. Height:230ft MPH:78
The ride is solid, but no doubt vastly overshadowed by its big brother across the park 👍🤘
Petrified of roller coasters do never ridden a big one. So by curiosity which one is the “BUG BROTHER” across the park so I can watch that one next lol 😂
@@datNiggaDebo954 lol I understand, they're not for everybody. The "big brother" I mention is none other than the world-renowned Fury 325. It's over 100 ft taller and quite a bit faster than Intimadator. Give it a watch, the ride is amazing! You can see Fury 325s lift hill miles away- it's that tall!!

i have bad anxiety when it comes to heights. i almost got off before it started but i stayed on and i kept my eyes closed going up the belt… but the rest of the time my hands were up and i LOVED IT! it was on my birthday too, the whole cart sang for me!😂
this channel is so underrated, u have some amazing povs especially the one on Fury 325 and this one

The airtime on the second hill is insane
rode this yesterday for probably my 50th time and had the most airtime I’ve ever had on it. front row is a must or the trims absolutely kill the ride

@@Tiberium_Tiger I rode it back in 2016 so I wasn't as much as an enthusiast as I am now and I thought it was alright and trimmed to death with a weak second half. It's fun but not great compared to other hypers, hope to get on it soon tho

Geography nerd + coaster nerd = correction. Intimidator is entirely within the SC part of the park. 😄
I’m aware. Fury is the ride that expands into both states, however Carowinds is considered North Carolina’s park so I don’t want to confuse people on the actual geographical location.
@@EastCoasters Yep, and Carolina Goldrusher, Nighthawk, and Flying Cobras; the latter two barely.
This coaster was a lot better when it first came out. They added some brake spots that really slow the coaster down in the second half.
I think your getting it confused with intimidator 305 at kd. They never added trims to this

The Intimidator is so fun. It may not be as tall or as fast as the fury, but it has a LOT more weightless air time because of all the drops, and its also way smoother. I rode the fury and felt physically beat up a bit from its G-forces, but the Intimidator feels like flying and I found it more fun, I rode it again and again.

Great video and tremendous quality. Trim brakes from hell though on this ride and it kills the pacing of the second half.

Me and my friend went on the intimidator yesterday and everyone on the ride got stuck on there for 30 minutes and it was pretty high up but at the end when we finally got off we got 2 free fast passes
when i rided the intimidator it was scary i was only a 11 at the time but i survived riding it

I rode this on Saturday and let me tell you, I was extremely intimidated. And what made it worst is that a girl threw up all over and they had to stop the ride to clean the cars. I was so terrified but it wasn’t bad, I’ll do it again and again. Fury was worst😭

@@EastCoasters I think this roller coaster is in the same category as Nitro in that it's overhated in the coaster community. Like Nitro, it seems to be temperamental. The trims on Intimidator can make or break your ride, just like the temperature and speed trains are running can make or break your ride on Nitro. I also think it has something to do with Fury 325 being in the same park, just like how Nitro is in the same park as El Toro. In any other park, the B&M hyper would be the headlining attraction, but both Carowinds and Great Adventure have coasters that are better.
I wanted to try this one but did Fury instead.

Back, this was my first ever coaster. The first time I stuck to my seat and didn’t really get any airtime. When I went back on it, I got the back again and the airtime is insane! Not as good as Goliath at Six Flags Over Georgia, which is my favorite ride for airtime.
Front for sustained floater, back for slightly less sustained ejector.

@triplea9209 Bohemoth has an airtime focused layout with constant hills so they probably feel way faster 🥃
