- Welcome in this challenge we are going to attempt to beat pokemon emerald kaizo (one of the hardest rom hacks on the market) With only Ground type pokemon. Ground types are very Diverse pokemon that can hit pretty damn hard if you use them correctly and with the likes of flygon and swampert there is no way that we will lose this,or do we....
This might not seem that hard but the level cap in this game is crazy and on top of that every trainer has an elite team and did i mention that your pokemon can't gain any ev's and your opponent always gets max ev's it's also not possible to use any items in battle so this challenge is definetly going to be interesting.

Pokemon emerald kaizo is like being hit in the crouch and then while your down the whole no items part of it is like being hit in the teeth afterwards.
Also zwiggo blink serveral times if you are being *t.o.r.t.u.r.ed*

I attempted a run using only dragons and I stopped trying at wattson
@@ossumopossum DV's didn't exist in gen 3... I think.
@@saltyralts DVs are Gen II. Gen III has the normal IVs and EVs system.
I think you might enjoy ‘Pokémon Enhanced Emerald’. Similar run through, but the nuzlocke settings and “open-world” play through make for an interesting pokémon experience.

If you want to really suffer in a Rom Hack, try out Dark Rising Kaizo. Thats the hardest ROM I've ever seen, and as far as I know there's no playthrough in RUclips currently. With all the bugs and the Kaizo remake its just suffering in its purest lol

here's an idea for a series: Because there's so many elite four members across games, wynaut make a bunch of videos where you beat the game a certain eliete four member is in with their team, and you can add challenges to some episodes to spice it up, like nuzlockes or randomizers.

7:09 This reminds me of Sacred Gold/Storm Silver hack, although that game difficulty is way lower than Kaizo, one thing It made me learn is to use the less obvious weaknesses, because of good type coverage of the enemy and good strategies. After Buggsy kicked the ass of my Quilava because literally every one of his 6 pockemons knew something against fire types and was setting up rain dance, I learned that and for Blaine, my sweeper was Typhlosion with a ground move and not a water type, which was a wise decision because every one of his 6 pokemons had some way to deal with water types.

Pokemon Uranium with only a specific type? That would make it a lot harder as the base gimmick of the game is Nuclear type, which is super effective against everything except steel types, so try that?
