I am on my third Yukon Denali and I am still in love. I put 300,000k on them over 6-7 years and then get a new one. Very very reliable. Never has one let me down.

300K? Damn! You keep up with the maintenance and such? I try to keep up and do things myself, have a 2010 Denali and things are starting to slip. Door handles, window guides, dash, now the A/C wants to act the fool. I have only 180K on it. good for you, if this is accurate.
Over two minutes in and I would personally zonk the grill. Would've been nice to have it blacked out entirely. Same for the rear badging.

@@RaitisRides 😂 My son would be saying the same thing. He's 15 years old and is already 6 feet tall. Its really hard to find cars that have alot of room in them. So he stears clear of the back at all means possible.
This Suv looks quite good, but needs alittle updates to the interior, but the outside is an incredible design.

you might have missed it but there’s a release button for the dvd screen in the back. Very nice entertainment system, I just bought a 2019 Yukon xl Denali and all I can say is luv it.
People keep complaining it’s dated, but think about it if you switch from a 2005 vehicle to this 2019 Yukon, how would you feel?

This truck might be expensive but if you have a family of six it’s worth it especially my family because we go shopping at Sam’s Club and we need a bigger truck my dad loved his truck he saw this truck he went to a dealership the next day and got this truck he loves it it’s worth it especially we have a family of six and you love shopping at Sam’s Club it’s worth the listen to me you guys is worth it

In 2021 my brother bought a 2019 GMC Yukon XL Denali with 48,000 miles. He paid for the extended warranty for 75,000 miles of coverage. Thank God he did. This has been one of the worst vehicles he has ever owned. It is always at the dealership for "check engine" lights and running rough. The dealer cannot seem to find what is wrong with it. They turn off the engine light and five miles down the road it comes on. The dealer is just limping it along, until it goes off warranty and then is my brother's problem. They want to trade it in, but the dealer has no new vehicles. My Mom's cousin also bought a newer suburban and is full of electrical gremlins and no start issues(they ended up buying a older model suburban and parking this one, because they don't want anyone to get stuck with their lemon). My Mom's best friend has a newer Tahoe and it has "no crank" issues at times and the dealer cannot find what's wrong with it. I would stay away from newer GM Suv's at this time. This is like GM with their vehicles from 2007 and newer when they were cheaply building vehicles right before the great recession in 2008. When we bought our 2009 chevy 6.0 3/4 ton pickup the transfer case failed at only 7500 miles. :(

Doesn’t that engine have cylinder deactivation to save fuel? You get some nice touches with the Denali but for the price I’d expect a little more. The info system is definitely due for an update.

Raiti's Rides needs to be zonked for Misinformation. # 1 it's not the 1st year of the ultimate black edition. # 2 It's not the largest one that you can purchase. They also have a XL in the ultimate denali. Which is larger than the one that he reviewed.

The Telluride/ Palisade one-ups this car when it comes to technology. Panoramic moonroof, heated & ventilated rear seats, and 3D camera. Better MPG too...

Karreil2525 If the Telluride or Palisade tried to tow the max tow of the Yukon the tech of the Hyundai and KIA wouldn’t matter because the transmission and engines would be blown.
Also you guys have to remember this Yukon is a 5 year old design. Debuted back in 2014 as the 2015 model. You’re comparing it’s tech to brand new 2020 vehicles so of course the tech in the 2020 might be an upgrade. Just wait for the new Yukon/Escalade to be released.
What would have looked better would have been a black grill and a chrome GMC logo
This is not a full-size suv, a full size suv is the Suburban, Yukon XL, Escalade ESV.
This is a smaller full size suv that originally was built on the Chevrolet Blazer K1500 and was updated to a full family version, the all new Chevrolet Tahoe in 1995.
The problem was that GM had trouble selling the Blazer K1500 overseas, example in Europe the rear sofa was never approved by the state inspection emission to accommodate a family of many children it just wasn't safe enough unlike the Ford Bronco.
So GM decided to convert it from a truck to a suv to be complied by the emissions in Europe and the rest of the world, GM wanted it to be a world suv (Chevrolet Tahoe) to sell better and make good profit, today GM offers the Cadillac Escalade and the Escalade ESV in Europe.

What? It’s a full size suv. All are built on the same structure, one is just longer than the other because they stretch it out. “Smaller full size suv” is still a full size suv.
@kenny kennysson when they say full size they're talking about the size of the frame on which the truck is built, the yukon, tahoe, escalade, are all built on a 1500 frame, which is the largest standard truck frame you can buy before going to a "super duty" size frame, i,e 2500, 3500 etc, which you see more in professional applications, the length is irrelevant.

AC condenser cracks at the weld, electronics go nuts if it gets above 98 degrees where you live, the tailights..... well those 700 bucks to replace after warranty cause GM didnt use bulbs. 78K pos

We have a 2018 Yukon Denali the flip-down screen does have a release button. I really like that the back window opens separate from the hatch you didn't show that in your video we had ours for 3 months before I even found a little button up next to the license plate to the right to open just the window. But So far so good we haven't had any trouble out of it we're about to hit 20000 miles.

Mine, has all blacked out emblems and bigger (23"), all chrome wheels. But, that's not why I'm devestated about this video. Lol (not really I'll be okay) You MISSED one of the BEST feature of the dash, lol, while you were whining about how GMC wasn't listening to you (tf? Lol you'd be working for them not making RUclips if they wanted your opinion), you completely missed the hidden compartment behind the display. 🤯 That whole thing opens up and you can fit "other" items in there and you blew it. Lol. This video screams "I'm gonna critique everything I can't have and I'm mad about it." 😂😂😂 I'm cutting this video short now bc I'm "Ultimately" confident I have the best Denali package.
I would think that they do not do the panoramic roof due to safety in case of a roll over.

Very nice but the Expedition is still King of the big boys along with its non identical twin brother the Navigator. Even the new Lincoln Aviator is just spectacular.

The only difference between the Denali ultimate and the ultimate “black edition” are the wheels and chrome mirror caps. And it’s only offered in black, white and I think satin Steele for $1,000 more.....I could be missing a color. For the 2019 If you don’t want chrome mirrors but want the wheels if you order normal “ultimate” package the wheels can be had for only $500 more. So the ultimate black is crazy stupid lol. I have a 2019 ultimate xl in blue....great vehicle but that “ultimate black” package is a waste.

Americans have been utterly duped and bought into SUVs hook, line and sinker, believing they are 'safer' (not true, and more deadly, not only for the SUV passengers - i.e., rollovers - but are more deadly to other cars they hit, cyclists and pedestrians).... believing they are more 'comfortable'...give them better view of the road... more 'roomy'.... and say things like 'hey, I have kids...my kids play sports....I have elderly parents...what business is it of yours anyway?!' ...blahblahblah...
How is it that just a few decades ago, an entire family of six could load up ONE station wagon to go on vacation? Now, every adult in the family must have THEIR OWN vehicle, and typically it's an SUV.
And now, mere SUVs apparently aren't big enough. No...it's gotta be a RAV4....a Denali...Suburban...Yukon...Navigator... Escalade...Ford F150...Dodge RAM....Range Rover...Hummer.. You see, in the US, it's all about being an AMERICAN... FREEDOM... it's about being bigger and more BADASS than everyone else. SUVs fit right into the American landscape, along with our Hollywood BLOCKBUSTER movies which are total garbage and full of violence. It's about our love of guns. America is about fast food and soda and hamburgers and french fries. It's about people shoving food into their mouths while sitting on their couches and watching garbage TV on their 52" flat screen TVs.
Any day now, I'm expecting car manufacturers to introduce small ARMY TANKS for the American driver...you know...so they can feel more SAFE from all the other big ass vehicles on the road.

SUVs are a scourge. Americans have been brainwashed by auto manufacturers and car dealers. It's a fact that they push SUVs on people because they provide a MUCH HIGHER PROFIT MARGIN. While SUVs cost very little extra money to build versus a 4-door sedan, people are willing to pay the jacked-up prices, simply because the vehicle is LARGER. When in fact, the bones of the vehicle...the engine, the operating software, etc.....that's where the real cost is.... not in a larger FRAME.
Sales of SUVs should be taxed up the whazoo, and they should be BANNED in all major cities. I live in NYC, and am positively STUPEFIED at all the SUVs littering our narrow congested streets. And the SUVs are only getting LARGER. It's totally perverted.

My 2007 denalil still looks new inside and out at 160k miles. So far no real trouble! I do take great care of it though with paint and leather treatment/maintenance. Had to get a new battery, alternator, upper and lower front ball joints and a updated fuel evap canister. That's it and doesn't burn oil or leak. Got a first year generation gem i guess. Also added a bunch of extras mods and parts: 6" lift, Escalade 2015 style lights, projector, halo headlights, vinyl wrap, 35" mud terrain tires on 22" rims, ect. Fun ride for me... uh the family and the 6.2 is great and tows toys well.

Excellent review...I hate that small screen and cheap knobs and framing. I also hate that old school gear shifter on the stearing column. Why wouldn't they have a pararamic sun roof? Its much too small. The only thing I like about that vehicle is the outside design. This vehicle needs a total interior redesign. Very disappointing. RGEE

Currently have a all black 17. Had a 15, 10 and 07. This time around I would have switched to Navigator if it wasn't so expensive. The Denali spends way to much time with same features. The 07 and 14 was almost exactly the same. A 7 year wait for a redesign? Anyway the interior is so far behind in technology. The newer phone wont even fit in the wireless charger area. Waist of money and time. My 1st 07 driver had button to fold the 3rd row. Havent seen that option since🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️😠😠😠😠😠
That's what's wrong with GM vehicles, their interior designers are not doing a good job updating the interiors. The Escalade looks bad ass, the Denali looks bad ass, but both premium SUVs from GM are behind in the times. You can see parts they've used from previous generations just recycled into this newer generation. Hence it's difficult to justify paying the higher cost.
