I personally like using the Aston Martin vanquish in street races. Fast acceleration and responsive brakes mean you can brake right before the corner and fly out the other side in no time at all. Easily beating ace difficulty races by over 10 seconds
I personally prefer the GTR with full negative camber over the Lambo. The GTR sticks on the road way better and it exits corners way faster and in general its a great car

The rx7 is good but try out the RUF hypercar looking one. I forget its name but its stock color is white and it looks like the porsche hypercar. Good speed vs handling mix. (Lvl 1152)
Here is my list if you tune a ton of your cars (all max upgraded) You do not need to buy expensive cars to win races. Street racing: The Escalade, touareg or the dodge charger. The Touareg has great handling, the Escalade has a 0-60 time of 2.33 seconds, and can go up to 234-237 Mph at top speed with a good tune, and the charger does 0-60 in 2.1 seconds if you tune it right and can go 230. Mess with the gearbox a bit, it can do magic. Though there is a glitch where when you initially do it it does not work, so just do it once, go out of pro settings and then go back in. I find Aero and Gearbox the most important tune wise, followed by camber. If you need parts do the harley race over and over and you can get a ton of em and make a lot of money as well. Hypercar: I dont do hypercars because I like not breaking the bank. Though I like the bugatti veyron 16.4 Drag Race: Nissan 370z or The corvette. I mained the Nissan because it was fun to troll people that thought that the corvette is the fastest top speed wise. It is not. Rallyraid/offroad: I dont really do rally or offroad. So go with the video Drifting: The Skyline R34 is the most forgiving. However, I like the Rx7 because I just like Rx7's Touring: The mini. No, I am not joking. I bought it without any upgrades and within doing the new jersey nascar style race thing I could win ace difficulty after the third time doing it. Within an hour, I was able to get max upgrades. It is only 260,000 I think. Also its a mini. What is not to love. I also have the maserati MC-12, and it is fun to drive, but not worth the 400,000 I spent on it. Aerobatics/air race. I am a plane guy, so I go with the Extra because I like the company. Though the free plane actually handles the most lifelike. The Platius is the best for air races because I like the brand. Boating. Vector. I like Vector, so vector. You can win any race if you 1. follow the racing line 2. do the race over and over 3. listen to Eurobeat. I have the initial D soundtrack favorited on spotify for purely this purpose.
I personally think the ferrari 599xx evo is really good in touring car, easily one of the best. Idk though I havent been playing tc2 in a while, been playing gtsport instead so its been a while but I remember having fun with the evo
I think it's worth pointing out that if you max out the parts on any car on a category, they all have the same to speeds. You mentioned that the Agera wouldn't be a far as other hypercars, but they all have the same to speed. The little description in the stats window gives them random top speed numbers, but all hypercars to out at 270mph (without nitrous), all street cars top out at 230, and there are similar maxes for all of the classes. The different cars do all still have their strengths. Accelerometer, handling and the like, but top speed really isn't a factor
I have several thousand hours in the game. Been playing since beta. The different cars have different handling, acceleration, braking, and so on, but with the same parts on them and some tuning any car of a specific class will have relatively the same top speed. Within a couple mph anyway, not enough to make any significant difference.

Lvl 1152 - Bugatti carbon edition beats both in my opinion but between those, the divo has better handling where as the other has better acceleration, you're really trading one for the other so almost the same. Divo would be a better New York to San fransisco race then the other. It just depends on the track

Me and my friend use the "R" R35 for street racing (I drive the Corvette C6 ZR1 too), at Drag Racing we both use the Camaro SS (on some exclusions I use the C7 Corvette), for Drift he uses a Mustang while I use the FD and in Hypercar I use the 812 Superfast / Bugatti Veyron Edition One while he uses the Mclaren MP4. For Rally Raid I use an "R" R34, he uses a pickup truck I don't remember the name of, for Rally Cross I use a Porsche 911 GT3, he uses a Citroen C3, and for Touring Car I use a Ferrari 599XX or maybe the Renault RS0.1.
I would recommend the Porsche 911 GT3 RS and the Porsche 918 Spyder (I am LVL 630) Oke thing: The Voiture noire Is Not Good to Drive, the Divo Is way bettet
The porches speedster is where it's at. With the improved handling with rwd steering and good speed stats it's one of the best. You probably wont win the quarter mile but in an actual race event I'd trust that car with my life (lvl 1152)
If you are going with the cars that are on top of the leader board, be careful because all the fastest time we're done by people using the infinite nitro glitch they are cheating
That drag car was not a c8 corvette because 1 the c8 corvette is mid engine, 2 there is no drag version of the c8. The drag corvette is a c7 and is not a mid engine car

By Hypercar U could use the Zonda R to. It is a beast in PvP and very very very cheap. Like all Cars under 1mio are super eZ to get. And at Rally Raid the Porsche 959 is also good, but u need the Ford Raptor Enforcer Unit cause it keeps highspeeds very eZ.

I've been using the RX-7 as my drift car all this time, and was wondering why it was sometimes challenging to drift with it. I shall try the BMW Z4 from now on.
Some days the rx7 feels fine and others I just can't keep it away from the walls lol. Never gave the Z4 a shot but I also noticed the Mustang GT is on leaderboards a lot too.
If you want one now, get the Agera or similar - it's a great car! If you want to skip that bit of progression and save up more, a Divo, Jesko or similar will give you ultimate performance!

You should have said f 150 svt raptor evo 1 enforcer unit for rally raid
The f150 is ok, but it's a bit slow on the acceleration and that suspension is hell on small bumps

I've been using the RX-7 as my drift car all this time, and was wondering why it was sometimes challenging to drift with it. I shall try the BMW Z4 from now on.
Some days the rx7 feels fine and others I just can't keep it away from the walls lol. Never gave the Z4 a shot but I also noticed the Mustang GT is on leaderboards a lot too.

If you want one now, get the Agera or similar - it's a great car! If you want to skip that bit of progression and save up more, a Divo, Jesko or similar will give you ultimate performance!
Have you ever tried the Vulcan in touring car races it's acceleration is insane for the class

They are pretty similar, yes! The Divo is on leaderboards more but in terms of general performance it's about the same!
Would say the la voiture noire is even better, with the right settings there is no better car in the game tho
