It's absolutely beautiful, isn't it. I could listen to it the whole day with my eyes closed drifting away. Dimash said he thought of an angel when creating this song and I think it shows.

I can listen this song all day too, but I can't help "singing" trying to imitate him. Thanks to him, I've found my head voice, and some falsetto high notes too. But the last notes are imposible. They aren't in my throat. 😂😂😂😂😂
I can do some notes of the 0 scale, and I have never been able to reach to the 3rd scale before listening him.

The Dimash effect - I call it getting dimashified. I loved that song from the very first time I heard it, got very emotional each time I listened to it. I knew Dimash's abilities when I went to his concert. And then it happened, exactly when he sang Ave Maria. The beauty of his his aura, his body language, his eloquent hands, but most of all his unique, angelic vocals completely overwhelmed me. The beauty of the moment got so intense that I felt like I was not able to handle my deep, heartfelt emotions any longer - and I cried, with joy. This moment was incredible. I felt like in zero gravity, my mind and body taken up to the stratosphere where only Dimash's voice can exist. And the song doesn't even have lyrics to stir emotions.I know it sounds crazy, but you asked 😀. And I am not some teenage girl having a celebrity crush. I am a very grown up woman that appreciates an awesome, unique voice! As you implicated: we are blessed to live in a time when Dimash is alive. That's why I got my ticket for his concert in Antalya, Turkey. I just NEED to experience Dimash live again.

Ich habe das in Düsseldorf auf dem Konzert von Dimasch live gehört. Es war magisch und so ergreifend. Ich hatte danach Gefühl, dass meine Seele gewaschen und befreit von Sorgen ist. Es wahren 12000 Menschen dort und fast alle sind nach dem Lied aufgestanden, weil es war unmöglich ruhig zu sitzen, so bewegend und schön es war.
Ich war nach dem Konzert noch mehrere Tage beeinflußt von Liebe und Talent, welche er Publikum schenkt

Dimash is just amazing isn’t he? He manages to lift people to heaven with just one vowel. He leaves me speechless every time I hear this song. And I love it when the drums kick in. It’s so unique. Igor Krutoy (the gentleman at the piano) composed this version of Ave Maria at the request of Dimash.
Usually, Ave Maria is a prayer to the Holy Virgin Mary. In this case, however, it is a prayer for all people, no matter what religion they belong to.
He sang this song on the New Wave in Sochi, Russia in 2021. This is an international contest for young performers founded by Igor Krutoy in 2002. Dimash sang here as a guest and was also a member of the jury.
Igor Krutoy is a famous Russian-Ukrainian composer, producer and songwriter. He came out of retirement specifically to work with Dimash when he first heard him. True masterpieces were created. He writes songs that only Dimash could sing with his vocal range (no kidding), like Olimpico, Stranger or Ave Maria. You'll often see him accompanying Dimash on the piano. If Igor Krutoy is there, the song was also written by him. The two have no contract. Their cooperation is based more on mutual trust. It's more of a father-son relationship.
I want to recommend a duet with Dimash and a Chinese tenor. Thousands Of Miles, a common dream. Here he is singing with Zhang Yinyxi at the 2022 Chinese New Year celebrations. Zhang Yinyxi was a student of Placido Domingo. An incredibly beautiful song by two incredibly great singers who harmonize wonderfully with each other.

While I believe this song to be beautiful, I react better emotively to his highs with a longer work up to it like his Screaming MV and Across Endless Dimensions MV. LAST NOTE. I watched him in a video, standing in front of a mirror, his coach sitting on a stool, practicing that last compression note, the coach stopping him, pointing to Dimash's throat as Dimash put his palm on it starting again, the coach directing him with his hands, over and over again feeling for the vibration he needed in pursuit of the perfection he was striving for. One note.

Wow, 68 Ave Maria settings from 7 eras... but now 69! I mean, this song is on the same high level as Schubert's or Vavilov's (Caccini's) Ave Maria... also beyond all spirituality, just wonderful music.

His family lives in the US. Krutoy came out of retirement to write songs for Dimash. The maestro and Dimash have been working together from time to time since 2018. They are friends and have a father-son relationship.
Maestro Igor Krutoy shared the story of the creation of the work 'Ave Maria' for Dimash.
When writing a hit, Krutoy is guided by the Italian principle: every composer is worth exactly what his latest work is worth, which means that all previous successes and achievements do not count.
“On one of the nights, about three months before New Wave, Dimash called and asked if I could write 'Ave Maria' for him and he explained that he wanted to sing something in that style... Coincidentally, I had a spare evening, and I happily sat down at the piano and, inspired by the memory of the Italian formula of responsibility, worked until I achieved the desired result. It took me a few days to 'let' the composition 'lay' in my ears, soul and heart, and sent it to Dimash, who replied literally within half an hour that: ‘This is exactly what I wanted to hear', said Krutoy. Schubert and Gounod would have loved having Dimash around to play with. Although this Ave Maria is lyricless, the impact is still there. After all, in heaven, would everyone speak Latin; a vocalise would make more sense for inclusivity.

Dimash has say that as a youngster he often was needed to sing soprano in the choir and that as he reached puberty, his voice coach helped him retain the high notes and then lower his other ranges.

Indeed I feel a hypnotizing effect, when Dimash is singing that. I think it`s on purpose, that you don`t have to pay attention to the lyrics, because there are none, but the vocal a alone. So you can let your feelings, thoughts, prayers or whatever go and get completely hypnotized by Dimash`s incredible upper part of his voice. Although the melody is so simple, it`s so captivating, and Dimash`s delivery is absolutely perfect and unearthly. So it really fits to a prayer, what Ave Maria is. I enjoyed your reaction. Dimash has absolute pitch. I understand that when he was extremely young (4-5?), he told his dad their piano was out of tune. If you watch hlm, he tunes his dombra to his own ear.

Beyond his incredible range, his absolute mastery, I am astounded at how Dimash owns my emotions... he is completely into the song (into the prayer), he IS archangel Gabriel foretelling Maria she will be the mother of the son of God ... the song begins with the softness and tenderness to calm her down, not to be afraid of his amazing presence, then he proceeds to announce God's will (The Annunciation), that she will conceive his son, and unleashes all the power of his voice, his arms move like and angel's wings, and he goes to an overwhelming finale with the sadness of her child's destiny...
Thought I was the only one who FELT the story of the Annunciation with this rendition, down to the staging and sounds.

Yes - the 'Dimash Effect'! Stunning, and so exposed. So BRAVE! No margin for error here. I hear Dimash created this vocalised version & sent it to Igor, who then fine-tuned and fleshed out the rest of the arrangement, with his usual epic - yes; cinematic - flair. The lovely, and perfectly placed swell of the choir behind as well. It's a Masterpiece. This collaboration between these two 'Maestro's' is truly wonderful.
