- A brilliant song that never fails to move me, Fields of Fire is one of my all-time favorites by this wonderful band. This is one of the first songs I heard by Big Country off of a DVD of their music videos. That particular video has always been one I never tire of.

Also one of my perennial faves. Having the visual of you playing to the recorded track helps to cement how unorthodox this song is, from a rock/pop drumming perspective. I'd already noticed how sparse the cymbal-work is on the track, but like I say, it becomes clearer when you can see it as well as hear it. So many "missing" crashes, and the alternating patterns of either toms or hi-hats. Great work as always, dude!
