Did we have a community tab vote for this? Also, I wanna see those Bronzong and Hippowdon videos that were stated to be “in production” in the community tab from like 4 months ago.
It is interesting how a Pokémon like Clefable became a competitive powerhouse while Granbull got nothing. Both have relatively lack luster base stats but their abilities makes the big difference.
I gave a Pokemon trainer OC of mine a Grandbul as his Pokemon he like to ride on and I fell in love with this dog ever since. It's a little sad to see Pokemon you love not the best in competitive but these rules don't mean too much for art and story telling. It's still fascinating to see and insightful.
Hoping for a Snubbul vid soon. It actually was a pretty decent but niche pick in Gen 7 LC as a fighting check and it utilized Berry Juice and thief to stay healthy and remove items. Really fun mon that glued together teams well
The only pokemon that became fairy types in gen6 not covered by FSG are Whimsicott and Audino(it didn't become a fairy type in gen 6 but it gained a mega evolution im gen 6 and the mega is Normal/Fairy). And I doubt he'll do Arceus anytime soon.
No LC coverage? I can speak a little bit about it, at least, then In Gen 4/5, Snubbull was not all that good, except on the rare Trick Room team. There it wasn't that bad though; in Gen 4, it swapped between Oran Berry and Life Orb in Gen 4 depending on which it wanted, longevity or more damage; longevity was generaly preferred as Snubbull was more bulky than super offensive, Intimidate helped it a lot here. It had pretty good coverage, too, with Return/EQ/Crunch/Ice Punch! In Gen 5, it loved Eviolite and the (at the time) scarcity of Knock Off. In Gen 6, when it got its Fairy typing, it actually became pretty good on most teams as a physical check; it loved the newly-unbanned Berry Juice over Eviolite thanks to Intimidate, and was a more offensive option over the defensive Spritzee. Its movepool was great, and it was the FIghting-type check of choice for more offensive teams.
The Jotho pokedex is almost done as well. I believe there are stll 5 left, I looked it up. All that is left are: Noctowl, Lanturn, Octillery, Giraffarig and Magarco. Let's all do are best to help FSG finish Jotho, okay? Edit: Sorry, I forgot Corsola and Ursaring.
Competitive Career: Granbull’s seen a lot in his time. He’s been a threat on offensive and defensive teams. He’s had competition, he’s been outclassed, and he’s been untiered. He’s seen highs and lows and he’s satisfied with that. This old dog has learned new and old tricks.
I wonder... How good was Zangoose actually? It’s an extremely powerful normal type with swords dance and so many coverage moves. It could even run special attacking sets with many coverage moves for its special attack as well as physical.
The way I'd buff Granbull would be to give it a 20 base buff to Defense, Strong Jaw as hidden ability (if it doesn't have it yet, because I have no idea if it has it already) plus a new Fairy-type bite move (idk, "Fairy Fang or something). That way it can keep Intimidate and have a pretty good physical bulk, or switch to a more offensive strategy.
Granbull: **Menacing attacker**
Also Granbull in gen 3: *Cleric for stall*

@@thomasborta6559 he probably needs a guest to help with it. Talking about a typing in a whole video is a lot to cover
How good were the gen 5 fossils actually
Attempt #20
Go to the community tab to vote for the next Pokémon.
@@Wizard_Lizard_ Look 3 months ago
@@Elitus Did he start deleting after? Or is the voting done differently now?
@@Wizard_Lizard_ I think Bronzong won the poll over a year ago and we still have not seen that one.
@@Wizard_Lizard_ I think they don't do the polls because they have enough voted Pokemons for a while
I’ve always named my granbulls , “Grandma’s bull”
i love these obscure gen 2 pokemon, do ursaring or girafaring next!
Yea FSG, please do Ursaring. I know Hoenn Ursaring was made in Blazing Emerald, but that was not legit. I want Johto Ursaring please???
I'll never forget getting shadow Granbull in Colosseum and then using it on my cartridge of Emerald after beating the game. I guess Granbull had 3 type swaps because of that game lol
I have very little idea what any of this means but I love pokemon so these videos are great to listen to in the background while im doing other stuff, like cross stitching every single starter!
Gen 2 granbull was a perfect summarisation of the meta game.
Everything had rest talk
Everything had leftovers
Everything had curse
Snorlax made a lot of pokemon unviable
Fun fact: in competitive gen2 Granbull would occasionally run Heal Bell and Rest and Sleep talk to become a cleric with strong attack.
Did we have a community tab vote for this? Also, I wanna see those Bronzong and Hippowdon videos that were stated to be “in production” in the community tab from like 4 months ago.
Might as well wait until the new games come out tbh.
@@EruditoGaming Especially since the remakes/Legends are coming. Who knows, we might see them revamped one way or another.
Bronzong and Hippowdon probably have a lot to be covered with especially Bronzong
Lots of formats to cover especially in VGC
It is interesting how a Pokémon like Clefable became a competitive powerhouse while Granbull got nothing. Both have relatively lack luster base stats but their abilities makes the big difference.
clefable learns half the moves in the game
I gave a Pokemon trainer OC of mine a Grandbul as his Pokemon he like to ride on and I fell in love with this dog ever since. It's a little sad to see Pokemon you love not the best in competitive but these rules don't mean too much for art and story telling. It's still fascinating to see and insightful.
Hoping for a Snubbul vid soon. It actually was a pretty decent but niche pick in Gen 7 LC as a fighting check and it utilized Berry Juice and thief to stay healthy and remove items. Really fun mon that glued together teams well
It needs an evolution where it turns into a 3 headed dog, that would be very cool
10 more Pokémon until gen 2 is done
I've never been this early. Love you false💜
I enjoyed using granbull on my playthrough of gold. He was quite good. I think his set was return, shadow ball, thunder punch, and ice punch
Cant wait for BKC to narrate the 3-hour landorus video in both its forms
3 hours per generaration per form?
Granbull was one of my all time team members whenever I played Silver. I'd just slap all the elemental punchs on it and then crunch.
all those moves were special back then
Earthquake on a fairy type is such good coverage
Gen 5: You get. . . NOTHING. You LOSE. Good day sir!
You should start making videos on how to use every Pokémon in competitive like what stats and stuff are best
I always wanted Granbull to get covered and you fulfilled my wish...Thanks Fsg
The only pokemon that became fairy types in gen6 not covered by FSG are Whimsicott and Audino(it didn't become a fairy type in gen 6 but it gained a mega evolution im gen 6 and the mega is Normal/Fairy). And I doubt he'll do Arceus anytime soon.
Granbull: mom always said I had a big heart
No LC coverage? I can speak a little bit about it, at least, then
In Gen 4/5, Snubbull was not all that good, except on the rare Trick Room team.
7:39 some god tier acting by Kellen I flinched
Why I still watch videos on competitive Pokémon despite never touching showdown or a Pokémon game in two years is beyond me
The Jotho pokedex is almost done as well.
I didn't know this guy had 120 Attack... I thought he was one of those "everything under 90" Pokémon.
We hit the johto dex milestone with vullaby, 386 is the hoenn milestone
Competitive Career: Granbull’s seen a lot in his time. He’s been a threat on offensive and defensive teams. He’s had competition, he’s been outclassed, and he’s been untiered. He’s seen highs and lows and he’s satisfied with that. This old dog has learned new and old tricks.
I wonder... How good was Zangoose actually?
It’s an extremely powerful normal type with swords dance and so many coverage moves. It could even run special attacking sets with many coverage moves for its special attack as well as physical.
being outclassed by clefairy of all things must be a fate worse than death
The way I'd buff Granbull would be to give it a 20 base buff to Defense, Strong Jaw as hidden ability (if it doesn't have it yet, because I have no idea if it has it already) plus a new Fairy-type bite move (idk, "Fairy Fang or something). That way it can keep Intimidate and have a pretty good physical bulk, or switch to a more offensive strategy.
10 Gen 2 are left:
Corsola/Galarian Corsola/Cursola
Girafarig
Lanturn
Magcargo
Mantine
Noctowl
Octillery
Stantler
Sunflora
Ursaring
5 minute Sunflora video let’s go
Should have been a Fairy/ Fighting type gen 6 onwards
It is in radical red. It also has strong jaw and bull rush in that game
Granbull's jaw at 4:52 tho! What the heck
If only Granbull had a little bit more bulk and a higher speed tier. It would make this mon a lot better. That and maybe some recovery.
Since it's Mother's Day, how GREAT was Kangaskhan actually
That was done already. ruclips.net/video/ZVek5akFLIM/видео.html
