The "believed" first death due to people playing pokemon go, can't be seriously blamed on pokemon go, no one playing a video would break into someone's house to "look for pokemon" ... just saying lol
I'm a devout Christian, and I honestly don't understand why a lot of Christians/religious people call Pokemon "demonic". I personally know people who believe that, and it just doesn't make sense to me. It's literally just an RPG game series. It doesn't have any demonic/occult storylines, characters, etc. (well, I guess some might think Lavender Town is kinda sketchy because it has ghosts and all-around creepy vibes). And, I suppose coming from a family that always said Harry Potter was demonic (I don't believe that), I can understand the "magic" stuff being triggering to some. But, I mean, come on. They're video games. They're not hurting anything. They're not encouraging kids to do demonic things. They're just fun roleplaying/fighting games.
Usually this sort of thing is done by grifters that are trying to use outrage and such to make money off of a target that is easy to go after, plus while there is still bad groups and such in religion today, back then and the years before it was super easy to just use such things to try and get things cancelled or removed, nowadays most people see it for what it is, noise. I am happy you found a way to enjoy your faith and the things you love and I hope that things didn't go too rough for you, much love.
@rosieleaverton because (and this is coming from someone on the inside) these preachers look for anything that can be skewed one way or another as an excuse to get upset that we're all going to hell if we don't do something, which is normally sitting there listening to them ramble on about something they don't know anything about, Pokemon, rock music, Elvis yesterday Pokemon after that, something for them to hate on, they will use anything my local one used Hannah Montana as a devil worshipper, pre miley cyrus actual devil worshipping too! 🤣🤣🤣 So once I grew up and realized they are making people into tools, I'm still Christian, just not listening to that crap 24/7 lol it IS ridiculous and ignorant

She is not only the Gym Leader of Nacrene but the director of the museum and her gym batttle takes place within the Nacrene Museum/Gym now the apron you ask? Aside from being both Museum Director and Gym Leader she is also a very accomplished archeologist and dug up the huge Dragonite Skeleton fossil on display in the museum that is not a cooking apron as its a heavy duty leather apron worn to Fossil Digs to protect herself when digging for fossils

Yeah, sort of important to design the characters that match their personality and skill. That is why the Generations 1-8 player trainers are better designed than the SV players. The school setting takes away the creative freedom from the players when you can not have T-shirts and jeans.

The Arbok did not die, he was able to regenerate. It is talked about in the manga that different patterns on Arboks allow them to be able to do different things. It is even shown in the manga that you can train them to switch patterns even.
Hitodeman/Staryu is able to grow back its points as long as its core is fine.

The problem with the bad animation is that they said they weren't adding all the Pokemon to sword and shield in order to polish the Pokemon the decided to add, which ended up not being the case as they still have the same models from XY and have barely no new animations
Dont forget we ended up having moves removed. Removing pokemon was a dumb mistake by gf, and nothing can defend it

The Arbok in the manga isn’t dead actually it has a special ability to fix itself if it’s head is still intact. Giovanni does kill two magmar and Lance blows up half of viridian city however

Man, I dunno, I think the glitchiest pokemon games might be Scarlet and Violet. Despite the patches we got, the game still suffers from slowdown, the ability to willingly clip through the world, pokemon spawn behind walls, and a lot of other issues plague the games. Though, red and blue are still incredibly buggy as well, at least they had the excuse of being the first games.
Anyways, this wasn't meant to stir up any controversy or arguing, I was just stating what I noticed in SV. Love your content by the way, keep up the great work!!
So because the bit you mentioned with Cloyster and Onyx. I'd also like to point out that in Pokemon Y (at least my first time discovering this..) A random NPC gives you a TM 69 labeled "Rock Polish"...just throwing that out there. They knew what they did. lol😅
There is also TM17 (Protect) in PokemonXY. It gets handed to you after watching fireworks together with Shauna *wink wink*

BDSP being "graphically superior" is wildly wrong if you ask me.
I had an argument with someone about this for another game. I had your opinion too, but the other guy clarified the difference between Graphics and Art Style. Graphics is basically the complexity of what's being rendered, so any 3D game is more graphically intensive than most 2D games.
But if we're talking about art style, then BDSP is worse than Trubbish. Borderline shovelware.

The third versions themselves are better money-savers than buying the base games and the DLC. I love Crystal and Emerald. I love Hikari's DP dress, but I do agree that Platinum is better than DP content-wise.
The Jynx and Lenora controversies are a textbook case of people jumping in front to be the first offended by something, it's insane.
They might say the purple face matches how purple is close to being red, matching Jynx's Japanese name Rougela where "rouge" can mean "red".

Hitmonchan being named for Jackie Chan always bugged me, like are there not enough famous lightweight boxers you could have based the name on instead?
There are complaints that the game were too easy.
However when the Mewtwo raid in Scarlet and Violet were released, many fans complained that the raid was too hard and Pokemon shouldnt be that difficult of a game. 🤷♂️
You can never please everyone.
By the way, as of the time of this video, the Mewtwo raid were the hardest optional boss battle in any Pokemon game thus far.
It requires actual strategy to beat and human teamates that knows what they are doing in order to win.
The Mewtwo had x50 more than its normal HP and it likes to spam Calm mind so your entire team should simultaneously drop Mewtwo's stats and boost your team's offense for the entire raid. Its doable but it needs teamwork between good players.
Though its a limited time raid, it really seperated the pros and the casuals of Pokemon.

Hacking Pokemon for competitive is based. Saving the time for playtesting and actual life requirements just makes so much more sense and it just baffles me seeing people like Kaphotics, someone who LITERALLY made PKHex keep dogging on competitive players for using his app to do this as if it's a trap or something. Other than that, great video!

Keeping the generation moves is more based. You can not have the same moves in BDSP.
Ahh yes, why should you have to play legitimately to win real world prizes, especially when genning specifically goes against the rules of the official tournaments and the cheating’s gotten so bad that Scarlet and Violet have a bunch of aids to help people build legitimate teams easier so they can compete with cheaters?
Don’t spend a month’s time resetting, grinding, trading and breeding to get some near-enough combos of desired traits on your team, just illegally create an entire perfect team in minutes, saving you from actually playing the games so that you have more time to copy other people’s strategies for the win.
Remember kids, following the rules is for suckers, ‘Real Gamers TM’ have to cheat at childrens’ gaming competitions to show you how cool they are XD

I am an advocate of Pokemon generation to save time, especially for older fans, being accepted, as long as EVERY SINGLE SMALL ASPECT of the Pokemon being legit, with no advantage past being "perfect"
Yeah, I never got why they turn up their noses at hacked pokes that don't have illegal moves, abilities, etc. The game was never meant for this competitive level and hacking is so accessible.

I know not all religious people are like this, but I hate overly religious people who labels literally every form of entertainment as "evil" and "sin". Their goal is to make you feel bad for having a form of entertainment and direct all your attention, effort and money to the religion instead of your hobbies.
Many years ago, I left a christian church because a few members condemned me because they found out I watch anime and play video games. They told me how im literally going to hell and all that and they instructed me that the time, effort and money that I put into anime and video games, I should just direct it to the church, to god and the religion. Otherwise, I am destined for hell.
I left. Screw those kinds of religious people.

It's so weird thinking back to the controversy with the recalled pokeball toy and the mass hysteria it caused around the globe. In mexico as I was a 4 year old child I was given an official jolteon and dragonite bouncy ball and then the news about a kid suffocating due to a ball toy erupted around the world and I remember my granny talking about that and all my family warning me about not putting it in my mouth even tho it wasn't even the same kinda toy. However, despite that, those bouncy balls could get stuck in a kid's mouth so it wasn't bad advice regardless. Just very interesting to see how the masses interpret these things. And how it all connecta to the mass hysteria caused by religious groups that literally would latch onto anything to get their point across, or invent their own delusional reasons to preach against a popular thing.

See, the problems people have with "hacked pokemon" mean nothing in the grand scheme of competition. No one is adding pokemon with stats it can't naturally have, or "event moves it cant have." The only thing it did, was remove how much time was spent getting the Pokémon. "Hacked" Pokémon have no inherent advantage over non hacked Pokémon. And the only people who complains are the people who don't compete, and those who are bad at the game anyways
