This was fixed in Gen 7.) -Team Flare and Valerie were aliens (A remnant of X and Y’s old plot, where the Fairy-Type came from outer space and Team Flare were Men In Black-style extraterrestrials. Valerie was also an alien, much like her Type- they changed this, but not her design. That’s why her eyes look so strange.) -Team Flare is an allegory for unsustainable growth in capitalism (A bit of a reach, but Lysandre and some books in his HQ talk about “those who give and those who take,” which would also have tied into a Pokémon Z plot as Zygarde maintains ecological balance. The capitalism part is a bit more obvious by the whole “Only the rich get to join” thing with the suit pricing, plus their focus on superficial status symbols like special shades.) Edit: I accidentally obfuscated some of the second point, typing this on mobile and don’t know how to fix- it’s just about Team Flare and Valerie’s original roles as aliens.
Maybe you should add that xy insider info from 4chan about Sycamore and Lysandre are supposedly the same person and are aliens. I wonder if that 4chan info is true though.
I saw a theory about how Ghetsis got injured, it was due to treating his Hydreigon so badly that it attacked him. The Hydreigon has a maxed out Frustration attack so that would make sense.
To explain the N's Beta Design entry, it was a concept art provided by Junichi Masuda, he asked the other designers to make a sort of genius type of character, prompting a woman who worked under him as a designer to ask "What is genius?", which is where this design was made. No wonder why they later revised it, as it looks so off-putting and uncanny compared to the N's final design.

Even though N is not my favorite, he is the most well-written and complex character we've ever encountered in a Pokémon mainline game. We need more characters like him, an enigmatic figure with a unique philosophical perspective on human treatment toward Pokémon rather than the usual flat characters solely focused on winning the Pokémon League or dealing with typical parent issues that are cliche and typical trope.
Unfortunately, the fandom shat all over gen 5 when it first came out. I think it is still the lowest selling generation. Probably one of the reasons why Game Freak stopped taking risks

With the ghost girl, I believe the section where she says she hears her dad’s voice isn’t her dad saying to forget about the lunar wing. I think the girl is trying to speak to her dad, knowing she won’t be alive when he retrieves the lunar wing. So she begs for her dad to forget about it, and to stay with her during her last moments, but she was unable to tell him and she ultimately passed away without him by her side.
I think Ghetsis tried to approach Kyurem when he was younger but wasnt powerful enough to tame it, so it froze his right side resulting in the injuries.

Gyarados can only be encountered at level 1 in the nature preserve, but you are right! You can also find Magikarp from level 1 up to 100 in Platinum. It was helpful, thanks a lot! Greetings
An explanation for the "Kyurem came from space" could be, that Kyurem just lived there long before the meteorite hit. Kyurem went there after the original dragon split. But then the meteorite exposed its lair, giving it easy access to the outside world again. This made people think it came from space.

While there were plenty of iconic designs before and since, the early 2010s (gens 5 and 6) is where the devs really hit their stride with the art style and character designs overall. And when it comes to the protagonists, Hilda and Serena have to be the best looking girl MCs imo, truly stellar designs. Though I'm sometimes shocked as to how they got away with the former wearing such small shorts. Sure, it was the brief time when the protags were aged up a bit to be more teen-like, but they overall don't look that much older than previous or following ones.

@@RealEisenBerg here it goes, buckle up cause it's a lengthy one; Also it's more of a speculative one but interesting nonetheless: The Darkest Day has caused the removal of Megas What if during the events of the Darkest Day, as a result of Eternatus entering its Eternamax form, it had absorbed not only Dynamax energy, but EVERY kind of energy, including Mega Energy? As we all know, Eternamax Eternatus is a form caused by severe energy overload, as stated in Eternamax Eternatus's Sword dex entry: "As a result of Rose's meddling, Eternatus absorbed all the energy in the Galar region. Now, in the time period of the player, it was indeed Rose that brought upon Galar the Darkest Day, but during the original one, there was nobody (that we know of) that has triggered it themselves, let alone Chairman Rose. What we CAN deduct from that, however, is that the Eternamax form can be caused by absorbing a ton of energy, and it's not stated WHAT energy, either; it could be Dynamax energy, Mega Energy or hell, even regular electricity! Its Shield dex entry reads: " Infinite amounts of energy pour from this Pokémon's enlarged core, warping the surrounding space-time." So not only did Eternamax Eternatus absorb ALL of the energy in Galar, but it's constantly leaking Dynamax energy as well, so no matter what energy enters, only Dynamax energy exits. While we do not know what happened to the foreign energies after the Darkest Day, we can assume it either just dissolved as Eternatus was defeated for the first time, or already had been converted to Dynamax energy by that time, which would explain why Mega Stones do not function in Galar, as there is no Mega Energy to fuel the Mega Stones. Basically, if someone would bring a Mega Stone to Galar, they just won't work, as the Dynamax energy would effortlessly overwhelm the foreign energy and just neutralize it, thus resulting in a useless, albeit pretty rock. Also, in Pokémon Masters, in Hop's 3rd Sync Pair Story, "A Massive Impact", he says "What?! I've read about Mega Evolution in some books in the lab..." This implies that at some point in time, the Mega Evolution phenomenon was known in Galar, and probably even appeared in there for some time, yet because of the Darkest Day effectively neutralizing all Mega Energy, it's no longer available.
@@RealEisenBerg entry was too long for YT so I'm splitting it. Keep in mind it's more theoretical than factual but still I believe it has some solid ground: *The Darkest Day exterminated Mega Evolutions*

I love the N theory, but he has a Zoro on his team. Even the idea of having a Pokémon team goes against Ns ideology if he in fact is a Pokémon himself.

Keep in mind it's more theoretical than factual but still I believe it has some solid ground:
*The Darkest Day exterminated Mega Evolutions*
I believe that Kabutops and Genesect are not the same pokemon, but used to belong to the same order.
I don't buy that Caitlin one but still an awesome video!
She straight up advertises trying the Battle Castle, mentions her psychic powers were uncontrollable in her youth (explaining why she never battled as the brain there) and mentions Darach came by but only cleaned up and left in the villa she let Cynthia use.
The only questionable part is the Darach love, told by an NPC in the frontier as he can't express his feelings for her, and is only possibly implied by him not interacting with her when visiting.
@@meloelebi1996 ahh okay! The character models are very different but I guess I was wrong. Thanks for clarifying!
I think the placements need to be adjusted quite a bit. Caitlin being in gen 4 is definitely not top level information, shiny charm should be at the very top, and the Munna reference shouldnt be as high as it is. Shiny locks should be WAY higher
Gamefreak better not remake black and white
Black 3 and White 3? 👀
good luck with that
Ash tried to put Pikachu in a ball an realized he couldnt stop Pikachu from coming out or pikachu refused to go back in it probably being in there for years
BW/BW2 OST slaps different
N born from Pokemon.... uh oh. I knew some of yall couldn't be trusted with a ditto
Nah, she heared her dads voice, but she is not quoting him, he probably left her in search of tge lunar wing and she begs him to forget about it, and just stay with her.
I always read darkrais nightmares as a passiv thing, like fire will burn you, it took on residence fare away from humabs aftet all and close to cresselia to prevent that curse from harming anyone
Nvm I realize N is definitely a Zoroark
older and younger twin XD
Literally the last good Pokemon games, People saying Pokemon games are still alive are heavily coping.

You're goddamn right!
LETS GOOOOO ANOTHER ONE IN THE SERIES I may have to replay bw2 after this one🤣
lol charmander scream
hilda and rosa are perfection itself.... best female protags ever
The best games and the best Icebergs
And alder has a son or grandson in scarlet and violet
Pokemon Black and White were the best story in all main series games during its time.
Until Gen 9 happened. Despite its many flaws. Its story is better.
B&W a very slim maybe but B2&W2 definitely not.
And I thought S&V's story was really good! (By Pokémon standards that is.)
SV has an incredible story (not without flaws, of course)
eh
N is a ditto.
Pokemon day 2024 - poemon z is coming 😂
The final entry felt extremely anticlimactic
I love the N theory, but he has a Zoro on his team. Even the idea of having a Pokémon team goes against Ns ideology if he in fact is a Pokémon himself.
Neither disprove the theory though. The zoroark he uses could either be a separate species or N himself. And doesn’t having an official team go against his ideology whether he is a Pokémon or not? Hence why he never officially has one
WOW i HAAAAATEEEE proto N!!!!!!!
Aw man I thought this iceberg would have some obscure information on it -_-
Ah the 5th gen
Aka the best gen ever made
Maybe N could be a Mew? Who wanted to evolve into a human
Pokemon has always been easy... its designed for small children to beat... and all you need to know is basic type matching to beat any Pokemon game. Stop complaining that the kids game is too easy for adults.
yellow, crystal, emerald, platinum are not 3rd versions. they are the dlcs of their time. get over it
dislike for obnoxiously zooming in on iceberg. let me see the whole thing that you prob stole from google anyway.
is it fun being extremely annoying?
@@squirtdemon i mean, personally, no. but you dont need my validation to justify your behavior 😘
Have enjoyed all of the iceberg so far.
I hope you like the next ones!
