This is a bad solution! Instead you can add the post which you want to upload in highlights as your story and then delete it within seconds! Then wait for 24 hours and then press the 3 lines > your activities > Recently deleted > Restore your post! Now you can add it to your highlights!
Ummmmm sir we want to know how to put a vid or pic from our gallery to highlights. we wanna know how to put it in our highlights without having to put it on our story rather it be on the main or close friends. Your caption doesn’t match the video at all
no...I don't think your getting it...he's doing that because you can only add pictures to existing highlights only after you had that specific picture on your story and after 24 hours the story dissapears. but theres no way to add a picture directly to a highlight without posting it on story. so he just did a work around where he posts chosen picture to add to his story but only shows it to one person. then because it's technically a story post it will be added to your existing highlights. but then after 24 hours he unchecks the friend so that now everyone would see the picture in the HIGHLIGHTS, without necessarily having people to see that on your story. I hope I'm making sense
@@ChaoticMuchX Yes but since you shared it to your closest friends in the beginning, even though it’s on your profile as a highlight; it will only be shown to those who you already shared with. So yes it’s there on your profile but only selected closest friends can see it there. So if you’re trying to show it it’s nonsense but if you want to make highlight just for yourself, then it works. ☺️

Once you take them off the close friends, they & everyone else will see it on your IG story. This was pointless.
