I like how your review focused on build quality more than flexing the specs bc specs reviews are so redundant these. Just hope you had put in the 840 G9 on side by side comparison tho
If you buy from hp.com - You can spec different screen, touch/non-touch, cpu, ram, ssd. So everybody can get what they need or/and can afford.
I generally suggest i5/i7 and 16gb of ram and amount of storage you need. Now it is an older model so you most likely need to find what you need on a used market - that way you can fi d a good deal with ryzen 5/7 rather than i5/i7. AMD based ones lose value quicker

If you connect a TV - it’s 4K.
It has HDMI 2.1 as well as Thunderbolt 4, both support 4k output

Modern CPUs have variable speed, if the application requires more - they raise the speed and power consumption. You can also set performance rather than balanced power mode, this way it will visit the higher speed more often at expense of battery. Watching youtube or sending email does not require more than 1.8

What is bad about this laptop ? The bigger one is much uglier. What about the specs , processor ? You showed the least important things in this video. G9 640 has also great design.
They come with different specs, if you buy though HP - you can option yourself.
G9 640 comes with 12th gen Intel. I5 is generally fine for everything, i3 can be ok too. 8gb ram is ok, but 16gb is better. General specs advice)
Being uglier doesn't make it worse! Either way, OP didn't even power on the laptop. no matter any criticism, This review is horrendous and doesn't deserve any more interaction.
