Hey everyone! Hope this Plat episode is helpful :) FYI as there has been declining interest and support both on Twitch and RUclips the episode after this one may be the last unless it picks up
😢the heart break is felt throughout the Kahla...the lack of Protoss players ultimately leads to shortening the guide that may produce more Protoss players...the irony. Thanks for all your hard work Pig.
Sad to read but completly understandable, I know that this may not reach that big of an audience but to the people that does, we tend to watch and rewatch, take notes and be fully engaged with it, thank you so much for these vids :)
Thank you Pig for this series it really helps me to get better at the game, as a main protoss I really hope this series will be able to continue! Keep up the good work !!
Hi, and first of , love this series. I am a high plat low diamond player, dancing around 3,1-3,3k mmr However I started implementing the strategies in both the gold and plat b2gm and I have one lost one game out of 10 ish or so, and that was because I had to go afk. So powerful to have a set response. Like never occurred to me that when I am in trouble [meaning survived a cheese like canon rush or proxy rax, but lost probes], to just do a 2 base all in [like in the gold episode] and go f-ing kill them is so powerful. I am really close to 3.4k mmr now, never been so high.. Thank you for making these can't wait to see the diamond episodes
@@PiGCoaching thanks you, as you may have guessed this only lasted until I got queued against d2 and d1 players, but now I feel confident enough to call my self a solid d3 player.. Thank you for doing this show :)
Loving these guides. This is the style I like to play - big robo units and lots of observers - so I was super hyped to see this b2gm. I've already learnt a lot! Also cool that all the guides will be relevant going forward because they're all about different styles in a way that they'll stay relevant no matter what patch we're on. Thanks for this series!
All the advice for specific situations are really helpful. Previously I was never too sure about how to defend something like a proxy rax or 12 pool while still returning to my build later on.
love the “chill Winston” quote 😂. “The problem, is, Willy, that Charles and yourself are not the quickest of cats at the best of times so do as I say and keep the natural WALLED IN” :)
These are good learning devices. I played AI until I could beat elite AI consistently. And watched this to compare my builds before jumping into ranked. I'm a random and ended up in gold. So I decided to pick protoss first and left league till I hit bronze. My apms have doubled watching this and my build was almost identical for this and zerg, so it's nice to know I'm on the right path, but made my build alot tighter thanks to you. Thanks pig you've taught me a lot on both bronze to gm have helped me. Haven't watched Terran but I hate Terran. And protoss has became my best race instead of zerg now.
Depending on your level, getting used to adept scouting every game can be great for scouting if they aren't droning their expansion, and you can pump units. It's just important to focus on 1. Walloff fully with a gate or core 2. Making army. 3. Shield battery + overcharge. Most players obsess over the battery but they don't do step 1 or 2 properly
I am currently in Plat 2, zergs are going v fast 3rd and 4th bases. My question, when is the right time to move with your army composition? i feel waiting for 2 colos and 2 disruptors take too long and they will be ahead in economy. And positioning wise, I get wiped the moment I'm in their creep. Thanks a bunch for making these videos!
It'll vary game to game, you can try an earlier push, however I'd suggest joining my Discord community and posting a replay in the Replay analyis channels for great community feedback: discord.gg/SkhbzCM
2:30 I had to learn how to defend 12 pool when I was like Silver or maybe maximum gold 3 back in 2023. People very often do it very tightly that by the time the scout probe gets to their base, the pool is either almost or fully finished, and my build order is tight too at the start. And you can tell they aren't smurfing, because they just keep attacking into that zealot, then adepts and die to it, and then they're so much behind. And the APM is like 90. And they have like a 1000 games too. So not smurfing.
Hey Pig, I just want to say that I really appreciate you doing these. Totally understand if it's not worth the effort for you, but I just wanted to suggest that you could maybe make this less effort just by having fewer games. This new series against ethically grown noobs can get pretty long and repetitive. I feel like you could teach the same thing faster with shorter series by showing one build getting progressively more intricate playing with just one game against each different league, ie. 1 build at 6 levels of mastery. As someone trying to learn a build, I don't really need to see you repeat the same all-in against several opponents who each respond the same way, I can just rewatch the one game until I get the build right. The older B2GM series had a lot more interest because the games were far more unique where one game would be against a 12 pool, or battlecruisers, or skytoss, and you were able to show the correct responses to those strategies. I don't think we need to see any more than just one game against someone playing standard. In any case, I always love your commentary. Just my 2c.
I jump to the camera location, click the nexus, then click on the minimap where my army is and then click it. If you want you can use control groups that are less accessible to make it easy for bases 1-3 or 1-4. Maybe use hotkeys 6-10
@@PiGCoaching I have noticed while messing around that if u put all ur nexus on 1 hot key (let’s say 3) then If u push 3 and then the nexus at the bottom of the screen are in order. So if u want to recall to main base click 3 then left click nexus 1 and then and recall with out taking ur army off the screen. Natural click 3 then left click the second nexus and it selects ur natural. I have also noticed is that no matter the order u put the nexus onto the hot key the first nexus is always main, second always natural, 3rd is 3rd and so on. At least that is what happen when I played a game against no one and experimented with this method.

Like a true Protoss army. Our numbers are few, but our heroism knows no bounds. 20 roaches? Two immortals and a warp prism. Lets do it ;). @@sevreal4
Totally understand and appreciate the work you’ve done on B2GM, has kept me in the game by firming foundations. Also it’s a fun watch.
this is a great series. Please don't stop Pig!
These series are going to be a pillar of the SC2 community for years and years to come. Thank you!

wow, new content, LOVE IT! Your series are the best!
I love these so much I'm sad that they are ending. Really hope you do at least 1 more episode with masters/gm

Wow, no wonder I was losing so many PvPs. I kept doing 1 gate expand and dying to various cheeses and rushes. This is exactly what I need
I love you pig, I always watch your videos to play better and better with the Protoss!
The nydus worm sound at 2:25:45 gave me heart palpitations
lets go ive been waiting for this
Awesome! This series has helped me so soo much! Much love
Yay! Been waiting for this one 💪

congrats mate, I'm glad the guides are helping you out. Gl hf on the ladder!
Thanks! Just hit platinum
Three base macro! Lets goooo!
Like every game I have against Z goes like Game 1. Doesn't matter if you scout and Shield Battery it still runs you over.

Appreciate the feedback mate
Do you put all ur nexus on 1 hot key? If so how do u quickly recall to a specific nexus?
