Finally found the video i have been looking for. Well explained. This give me a good idea on modifying vents. May i know the dimensions of the L profile and door track please. Thank you
Troy, you've probably already mentioned this but are you getting your glass from a local supplier or an online seller? My local glass shops charge an arm and a leg, to the point where it's cheaper to buy a terrarium than their glass. Love your videos! Very informative and straightforward!
So much easier than silicone.. they make it in specific sizes as well.. I have a 100 foot roll of 1/8 and 1/4 that i used for led installs. Same stuff. Might be easier for those who shouldn’t play with razors.. you know who you are.. 😂
Listen you SOB, I just finished six more vivs struggling with the old method. I should have expected this from a Youngstown man - if you were from Fairport Harbor, I would have much more trust in you 😂
Using silicone on plastic track is a problem. I use Fuze-it from liquid nails- bonds to glass and styrene. Double sided tape is not permanent. If you use it always clean the surface with denatured alcohol. Contamination speeds failure. But nice vent design.
damn it troy, Im working on a new viv and just saw you do this. Might have to give it a go, however we use a lot of double sided tape at work (botanical garden) for plant tags. I tend to see it come loose from exposure to too much water / weather over time. Have you had them come loose?
No… because I started using the lower track on the sides to give more of a view… the upper track is significantly wider… but since those corners are now W different widths… can’t miter it…
Not only he's back with a new video.... He promised another new video coming soon! 🔥💯
HHahah
Banger
Yet another video to watch 5 times over again in one month 😅

No video how you build your vivarium Troy greetings from Belgium
Cool video. where did you buy that black form?? I need that too.
Where can i source some of those cork panels? They look great!
over all good clean idea, still use silicone though, haven't got any problems with loosening strips and it's probably cheapter with the silicone too
Definitely cheaper with silicone, just not as good of a bond, gotta wait for silicone to cure, it’s messy etc etc…. Obviously still works tho
Awesome video... I so want to build my own Viv but I ain't gonna lie I'm scared I'll mess something up...lol
It’s So much easier than people realize
Always plan ahead. Measure twice cut once!
Solid advice!
Aye awesome! Now where do we buy these said L channels and door tracks!! Lol
Outwater plastics
What's the black plastic called I would like to buy it lol

Yeah I mean… if the double sided tape ever fails… is very easy to redo… and you can do it while frogs are still in the tank
@@TroyGoldberg Well that's a plus!

I haven’t had it come loose yet… but to be fair… I’ve only been using it for about a year
@@TroyGoldberg thanks for the reply Troy love your work buddy
Thank you so much Troy. Why are the top corners not mitered anymore? Because of the tape?
No… because I started using the lower track on the sides to give more of a view… the upper track is significantly wider… but since those corners are now W different widths… can’t miter it…
@@TroyGoldberg thank you, I’ll change my upcoming order with outwater 😂 I don’t wanna work with exoterras anymore
