I’ve always felt this message ever since my first read through of the scriptures. There’s such a huge gap between popular “religion” and the scriptures they profess with their lips to believe. The irony is, that a very large portion of biblical text is talking about this. If only the “church” would read.

1 Timothy 4:1 Now the Holy Spirit tells us clearly that in the last times some will turn away from the true faith; they will follow deceptive spirits and teachings that come from demons. vs 3 For a time is coming when people will no longer listen to sound and wholesome teaching. They will follow their own desires and will look for teachers who will tell them whatever their itching ears want to hear.
'Christians' today have no excuse, for we have the Word of God. Anyone who truly reads it and studies it will not be deceived.

    Belief = be life
What you believe is how you live, everything else is a product of the tongue, and what does the Bible say about the tongue.
WHAT YOU DO IS WHAT YOU BELIEVE
we don’t do because of belief
    Belief is what we do
Hypocrisy is and always will be the Achilles heel of the human beings relation to ONE

totally agree!!! for me, as a Catholic Christian, I can say that easy grace is a dangerous heresy... but also, that some clergy in the Catholic Church are promoting sin... we are are all sinners, but we must strive to do right, and get back up when we fall ☦️✝️

I'm sorry to say this, my brother in christ, but Catholics aren't Christians because of several reasons, mainly because they speak a different gospel. Although they say Jesus, Jesus is never the only discussion or importance in the Catholic Church nor even the focus on our prayer or repentance.
"The Pope, the saints, the apostles, everyone and Christ is important and we must pray to them all to be forgiven and be saved". This is simply not true, and why are warn you brother to look into what Catholicism is teaching and come to Christ, only acknowledging he is enough, not what a priest or pope, or "the saints" of the catholic church tell you. If you have any questions, I would like to speak with you more. I tell you this because I love you brother and I want to catholic churches and even my parent was catholic but left the ways.
Hopefully I speak to you soon, or better yet, you come to Christ 😊

@jamison5249 My friend, I see what you are saying, and you miss my point. I'm saying that salvation is only by what Jesus Christ did, but Catholics add to things in the bible like traditions, theology, and ideas of the bible that were never true to begin with.
I do want to say that I want to have a polite, gospel focus, respectful and loving way to speak to Catholics since what they say about the Gospel, the teachings of the Bible and traditions are very wrong. I would like to point out several here.
      For example,
      1. Jesus christ died once for our sins. Catholics believe that to continue having salvation (keeping it) means people must continue to take the eucharist. (A weekly continual sacrifice for believers) And saying that Christ's death is not enough for salvation, but we also must continue to do something(works) to keep it
      2. Virgin Mary was only a virgin until after Jesus was born, and then Mary and Joseph had 6 other children as well. The teachings I'm the Catholic church about Mary isn't true at all. And to pray to her represents worship, which is another thing wrong with the Catholic Church.
      3. Praying to the Saints, even though yes the bible does talk about that saints pray to us, we don't pray (or worship) the saints for the same reason (like mary) that it'll become idolatry and creates misunderstandings as to how we are saved. Praying to the (dead) saints of repentance of our sins is nowhere in the bible but in the traditions of the Catholic church. And for salvation, this is simply not true since Jesus Christ is our salvation, and we don't need to pray to anyone else except to one being, and that's God himself.
      4. Statues are another form of idolatry that Catholics continually make a mistake of. The bible tells us repeatedly that we shouldn't worship images or statues or any kind that is not in of the Spirit. (Also ruins the gospel)
      6. Lastly, having the pope, priest, or any mediator having to do rituals or practices or even confessions to them are also unbiblical. The bibles tell us that Jesus Christ coming and being set on the right hand of the father is to set him only as a mediator to salvation. We don't need a pope nor bishops or anything at all that tells us we need mediators to be between us and God the father. (Whether in salvation or confession, or even traditions)
To summarize, these and many more are reasons why the Catholic church is a false church that preaches the false gospel that sends many of our brothers and sisters to the hands of Satan himself. Jesus is the only salvation we need. Not what the pope tells us.
And again, brother, I don't want to call you names, call you stupid, ignorant, or anything like this. I want to do God's will and be here to help our brothers and sisters get to Christ. Not led them astray. I would like to have a respectful, loving, and gospel-focus message as we have this conversation. Could we do that brother?

Christianity itself is structually prone to cheap grace, unfortunately, and the emphasis on forgiveness without accountability was the diverging error when its historical syncretism just about fully divorced itself from the law handed down through Moses.

One of the problems with the church today is not cheap grace but depending on man's wisdom not God's. For the life of me I can't understand why you're reading from a book about a man and not reading from the Bible. There's a lot more to teach about God than hell. And the book its talking sbout is Revelation not the entire Bible.

There is no such thing as cheap grace! Grace is grace and it cost Jesus everything. Saying the Grace of God is cheap when men abuse it or take it for granted is not cheap grace, ITS NOT GRACE! Men who think they can get away with doing whatever tney want and still go to God for 'grace' will get a real wake up call because when Judgment comes, it wont be a 'cheap' Judgement!!!!

Everything is fine and done and it doesn’t matter how you live. You don’t have to be a follower. And you get a ticket to heaven. It is convenient.
Not everyone is called to be a disciple. If you’re not a disciple you don’t not go to heaven. Burn in hell works trusting a back end expectation is a front end requirement no matter the packaging. Works save you in your eyes. Tell Jesus how many good works you did see how that goes.

@@WrightlyDivided Please listen to the whole video, John Fila states clearly, “Don’t trust yourself, don’t trust a preacher or priest, don’t trust even your good works, NONE of those things can get you to heaven, what can get you to heaven, TRUE FAITH.” Let's look at the Greek, the cutting edge of Bible doctrine. Do you know what μαθητὴς means?
The Greek term for “disciple” in the New Testament is μαθητὴς, which means “student” or “learner” and also a “follower,” but more specifically, one who follows one's teaching or adheres completely to the teachings of another, making them his rule of life and conduct. The Pharisees prided themselves in being disciples of Moses (John 9:28). Jesus’ followers were called “disciples” long before they were ever called “Christians.” Their discipleship began with Jesus’ call and required them to exercise their will to follow Him (Matthew 9:9).
Biblically speaking, a Christian is a disciple of Christ. A Christian is someone who has placed his faith in the Lord Jesus Christ (John 1:12). A Christian has been born again by the power of the Holy Spirit (John 3:3). A Christian “belongs to Christ” and is daily being transformed into the likeness of Christ (2 Corinthians 3:18).
A true Christian (and not one in name only) will HAVE TO BE a disciple of Christ as well. That is, he has counted the cost and has totally committed his life to following Jesus. He accepts the call to sacrifice and follows wherever the Lord leads. The Christian disciple completely adheres to the teaching of Jesus, makes Christ his number-one priority, and lives accordingly. He is actively involved in making other Christian disciples (Matthew 28:19-20).
Jesus was quite explicit about the cost of following Him. Discipleship requires a totally committed life: “Any of you who does not give up everything he has CANNOT be my disciple” (Luke 14:33). Sacrifice is expected: “Jesus said to his disciples, ‘If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me’” (Matthew 16:24).
Not all of Jesus’ followers were able to make such a commitment. There were many who left Jesus after a while. “From this time many of his disciples turned back and no longer followed him” (John 6:66).
Jesus used the term disciple BUT NEVER CHRISTIAN. The first instance of the word Christian is found in the book of Acts: “The disciples were first called Christians in Antioch” (Acts 11:26). Most Bible scholars agree that it is unlikely that the believers themselves thought up the name “Christians.” The early church had other names for themselves, such as “disciples” (Acts 13:52; 20:1; 21:4) and “saints” (Romans 1:7; 1 Corinthians 16:1; Ephesians 1:1) and “brothers” (1 Corinthians 1:9; 1 Peter 3:8).
The name “Christian,” meaning “belonging to Christ,” appears to have been invented by those outside of the church. It was most likely meant as a derogatory term. Only two other times does the word appear in the New Testament (Acts 26:28; 1 Peter 4:16). The idea that the term Christian was originally a pejorative finds some support in 1 Peter 4:16: “However, if you suffer as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but praise God that you bear that name.”
A true Christian disciple is a believer in Christ and possesses new life through the indwelling Holy Spirit. Because he loves Christ, a Christian will also be an obedient disciple (John 14:15). Paul describes the reality of being a Christian disciple: “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me” (Galatians 2:20). www.gotquestions.org/Christian-disciple.html
My friend, it does matter how you live, it will demonstrate -- if your faith -- is real or dead. Jesus said, "You will know them by their fruits." Matthew 7:16. Isn't that interesting? Those are the words of Christ. "Whoever claims to abide in Him must walk as Jesus walked." 1 John 2:6

The once saved always saved theology that entered the church mainly through Calvin is the worst false teaching that has ever been introduced , it’s not true Paul never taught it and James said it correctly yet the John mcarthurs , David jerimiah , Charles Stanly as well as many other have taught this false doctrine for generations and given the actions , fruits or works a bad name

"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works..." Eph 2:8-10.
We are not saved BY good works. We are saved FOR good works.
Salvation is a gift of God we cannot earn it. If we did it would no longer be a gift.
Salvation begins and ends with God not with you and me.
Sadly, for the most part, what passes as "christianity" in the western world is mere religion. Materialism is the religion of the west and the Church has bought into it.
However, as history snd the Bible shows there is always a remnant. These overcomers will prevail. Hallelujah.

If God nudges you in spirit to do something, and you do it. That's a work of faith. That's of course not works, for all our works are as filthy rags. Faith is believing God spoke a thing to you to do, and doing it. A " work " of faith.

Salvation is free. It's already been bought for you by Jesus on the cross. But your repentance and sanctification will prove your faith (faith without works is dead).
I like this analogy: if you're drowning in the ocean and someone drives by and offers you a hand to save you, then you got that for free. But if once you get on their boat you start stealing, lying, lusting, fornicating, etc. when the owner of the boat said those things are forbidden, then he has the right to throw you off his boat. You were saved, but then you went back to you evil ways.
