We went about 4-5 years ago and took our 10 yr old grandson. It was really nice, but boy oh boy is there a lot of walking!
As we were leaving even our grandson was complaining about how tired his legs were! Lol!
They were just getting started on the zoo and other outdoor exhibits when we were there.
I was amazed at the massive size of the Ark! I guess I had never really thought about it before, but boy, that’s one big boat! Lol!
Very educational and everyone should go at least once 😊

I consider the cost per ticket excellent for the amount of upkeep and their plans to add a restaurant. I cannot imagine how many employees would be needed to maintain the massive structure. Thank you for posting.

I went and saw the Ark back in July when it was warm. I went with my Mom and her Lady's Sunday School class. I even got to do the 3D Virtual Reality Experience. They're planning on putting a restaurant in the fourth level of the Ark.

We had the opportunity of visiting the Ark Encounter a few years ago and had a wonderful time. Glad you had fun and learned some things.
I love that place went there about three years ago with my girl scout troop and we had a great time. Alot of walking

Glad you finally were able to go, hubby and I liked the ark better than the creation museum, the creation museum is good too, but there is a lot and I mean a lot of reading at the creation museum. I thought the Ark was so informative , especially on the day to day life and maintenance of the animals, and how they stored the oil and food, etc, and to walk thru it, the magnitude of the size was amazing.
Sandra I totally agree with you on the actual size of the Ark! I knew it had to be huge, but I didn't realize that BIG!! I also didn't realize it took him a couple of decades to build the Ark. If it wouldn't take up too much room or time, Will, could you explain how the Maintenace of the Animals was done? Thanks!! 🤗

The buffet there is fantastic largest and well stocked buffet, we really enjoyed the Arc and the Creation Museum as well.

Thanks for sharing! We have always wanted to go, but have not yet had the resources yet. I am not so sure about the bigger animals being on the upper deck...seems like wise weight and balance would require the heavier animals being down low so the Ark would not tip over.

Just my guess, but I think God probably showed Noah the plan for where to place the animals. He would of had to known that info ahead of time as he began to build the Ark. So all the pens were put in place according to the directions of the size and shape of the Ark. A Lot of detail that was left out of the Bible stories. LOL if the Bible had every detail of everything we read it would take a full library to house so many books. LOL Some info we just have to trust by faith.
