All the band members make their contribution to entertainment and musical excellence, but without doubt for a live performance Mike Love stands out and gives the band presence. This Farm Aid thing was held in Memorial Stadium at the University of Illinois. Lot of good talent , wonder what farmers ever benefited from these performances. I was a farmer and could of used some help, never have run into anyone who was helped and i know a lot of farmers who could ues some help.
You realize people invented the jitterbug and slow dancing so they could get close and do sexually provocative things with each other, right? There was no decency in the 1900s. It was a debauched, decadent era. Today we have taste and restraint. You just aren't looking for it. You haven't even scratched the surface of good music of today.
