Blood Echo is not copium, but placebo against Dead Hard. Because even if nobody is running Dead Hard, Blood Echo is just there telling you "hey dont worry my friend, because of me they cant just suddenly dash away" and just this knowledge that something is there to help you is enough to make you not fear it, so give Blood Echo a cookie for being a good little perk.

What I find interesting is when I run blood echo, you can TELL who is used to the safety net of dead hard because they have worse positioning, and don't make that pallet or window because they are too used to pressing e for distance. The best survivors are ones that know the distance they need to make a new loop etc. So with blood echo, watching all 4 survivors miscalculate their holding w to another window because they're exhausted and think they don't need to worry about pathing and positioning is embarrassing.
Hello friends, today’s build is as follows: Blood echo: when hooking a survivor, all other injured survivors suffer from hemorrhage and exhaustion for 60 seconds Barbecue and chili: when hooking a survivor, gain a token. Each token grants you a 25% stackable bonus up to 100% bonus in bloodpoint earnings. After a survivor is hooked, the auras of all other survivors further than 40 meters from the hook are revealed to you for 4 seconds Scourge hook: floods of rage: 4 random hooks in the trial are highlighted to the killer. When a survivors is removed from one of these hooks, the auras of all other survivors are revealed to the killer for 7 seconds Scourge hook: pain resonance: 4 random hooks in the trial are highlighted to the killer. When a survivor is placed on one of these hooks, the generator with the most progress explodes, losing 15% of its progress and begins to regress. Any survivors working on this generator scream revealing their location Stolen sketch book: reduces power gauge penalty when hitting a survivor with a basic attack when feral frenzy is not active Legion pin: survivors who self mend from deep wound status effect suffer from broken for 60 seconds
2 small corrections: that build had the not buffed legion add-ons, so pin is with consecutive frenzy hits not self mend, and sketch book is increased duration by 2.5 seconds. Blood echo has a cooldown of 60 seconds but the exhausted and Hemorrhage status effect only last 45 seconds
As someone who plays with a sweaty swf, we went against an oni last night with blood echo and we all just fell apart. 11/10 would recommend playing again

@@rinreborn7364 This is just it too, they'll throw Killers a bone every once in a while to get them to stop complaining, but then immediately shower Survivors with everything they could ever ask for short of a gun to just end the match instantly. And like, from a business standpoint I get it, in a 4v1 game the 4 side of the playerbase is going to ultimately pay a lot more money than the 1 side. But even as someone who spent the majority of their time playing this game in a 2-man group with a friend (or admittingly rolling around as Huntress if I was playing solo) I always thought it was a tad... gross, how much BS the average competent Survivor can get away with. I thought it was a horror game.
@@DuskEalain The implication that survivor is so much easier than killer is laughable. Survivors and Killers both have meta perks and add-ons. It’s hilarious to imply that Killers are just so weak that they are scraping by when Nurse triple blink, Adrenaline Blight, and Mother-daughter ring Spirit exist. The problem is that the meta is totally dominant on both sides, and you are punished for not using it on both sides. Sure, if you play like a shitbag as survivor and just stealth from the Killer, you may win a lot of your matches. That’s not “powerful” though, just aggravating for both the survivor teammates and the killer. Edit: also it’s a PvP game first and foremost. It’s horror aspect is a subgenre. In a PVP game, you can’t just make one side inherently much more threatening, otherwise nobody would want to play against it. The game would have died years ago if it played like a horror game.
Seeing Otz run blood echo Legion for anti Dead Hard gives me great pleasure. I recently started playing Plague with blood echo solely because I despise Dead Hard, and when the game ends it is hilarious seeing four Dead Hards in the endgame screen, but never having to deal with that crutch perk, getting salty messages after just multiplies the experience 10-fold
I dislike DH a lot, but I do feel like BT should be a normal game mechanic, just at like 3 seconds or so, just to make sure people can't get tunneled too hard and have a chance to escape
As a killer main, BT is a good, altruistic perk that protects the person getting off hook from being tunneled, I agree. I just wish less survivors used it 'offensively' where they just act like an angry hornet and start smashing into me to keep me from chasing the OTHER person and leaving them to go and survive. :( But I also understand that's still not as bad as getting tunneled so I'm kinda there with you.
Or you could just, you know, use a perk slot to equip BT. If others don't and they farm you - tough. Killers are under enough pressure as is in the current meta, making tunneling a necessity against strong teams. Don't hate the player - hate the game. ;)
@@Valor6 and bt if they wanna try to take the hit wait it out then tunnel them out that’s what I do (my mindset you wanna help your teamate and not yourself then I’ll kill your first😁)
Imagine survivor tears if killers got a perk like Coup de Grace that could just be activated with E and didn't rely on tokens. We could call it Kill Hard.
I feel like I need to use meta perks to actually play the game in SoloQ, when I use non-meta perks like Head On the killer will catch on. I use Smash Hit and the killer respects pallets, I use deception and the killer knows the first locker is a feint after the first time. Meta perks are meta because they work regardless of if the killer knows about them or not, you have to respect dead hard and DS even when you know they have them, if you know they have CoH good luck finding it, if they have shadowstep you lose chase and pressure by going to stomp it.
That’s the problem. 90% of the perks in this game are not usable. Half of them don’t do anything, for killer or survivor. That’s one of the major things wrong with this game that no one mentions. Everyone complains the meta is boring and stale but they use the same 4 perks every game. The game is not balanced
I think thats the point thou, perks like head on and stuff help you on a specific way or scenario where you would be either at a disadvantage or take more from a skilled play....dh ds coh etc are just like....universal, will help you regardless of anything, the situation, if you made a mistake (dh basically any mistake mind you) and so on so they basically carry dumb survs or break good ones, cuz then they have an answer for virtually anything with little to no risk and huge payoff. At least that's how I see it. And of course it's no secret they meta becomes a real problem when it's a swf but I think that that's more like a balance problem cuz swf in general
@@fart63 I feel like BHVR is somewhat aware that a perk can be bad almost purely because it doesn’t activate frequently enough. DMS was trash and then they made it activate on every hook and it is meta now. Basically every meta perk has the property that they activate very frequently, and even if the other side knows about them they still have to go out of their way to respect the perk. Dead Hard isn’t even what you would traditionally consider a perk. It’s an activateable ability, perks are supposed to be passive. The only thing close to this for killer is Pentimento.
@@fart63 But the problem is not the 90% of perks, the problem is the meta perks, perks should never give you so much power, they should be a bonus, not such a big game changer
meh Dead Hard is also one of those perks that will do nothing for you after the killer knows it's there If the killer knows they'll bait it out and then they'll just hit you with a lunge attack having to respect if for a few seconds most of the time will do nothing for you and your team but yeah it's sad that many times this game makes you feel like you NEED some meta perks to survive because everything else just sucks
Dead Hard works exactly like it should, but it still feels bad to get got by it. Whether it's a totally fresh survivor that only got away because they pressed E or it's a god level looper that pressed E when you were finally going to catch them. This video makes me want to maybe mess around with some Exhaustion Builds later, though.
The problem with other exhaustions is they are just way too stituational to get a good result consistently. BL is the worst offender of just being made completely useless based on rng. The only good exhaustion perks would be like Lithe, SB, and the extra hit sprit perk. The other ones suck.
I started playing without any exhaustion perks a while ago. And I actually play much better because I have to be more careful and need to figure out how to loop the most efficient. The only times I use exhaustion is for archives. I can feel the pain of not being able to get quick downs because of "E". And I am playing 70/30 survivor/killer.
Thank u everyone trying to justify DH cause they know they need that get out a jail free card cause they don’t wanna play careful and actually learn loops as a guy whos 50/50 both sides I would say DH goes NOED goes they’re cringe perks that gets you out of your own fuck up
@@lsekai2101 i mean i dont like them as much as the next guy but all i think is remove i frames from dead hard should almost be like a sprint burst, noed is literally fine if anything nerf it so its like 2 minutes worth of insta down max and make it a token system 30 seconds per token and each token is represented by a hooked survivor that way it doesnt encourage camp one hook whole game then insta down everyone else
Someone in my lobby who was maybe salty(?) or just new to the game, give me some advice/suggestion: "You respect DH too much." Well then...I wonder what will he say if I miss 3 swings and unfortunately lose the game because of it..
This is also why I really enjoy perks and add-ons that apply exhaust, I honestly feel like artificially induced exhaust should be a bit more accessable like maybe every killer having one add-on that applies it. Because right now I think there's only a few that do get them.
I dont think there is any 1 killer perk that if it were removed, it wouldnt be game changing. Survivor on the other hand. If DH were removed I think we would see a ton of people suddenly suck at the game.
NOED is the only killer perk that changes a game on its own. Almost every other perk you have to get yourself into a positive situation to benefit from it which is good. I think pain reso was a huge killer buff though if it was gone it'd make things easier for sure.
@@user-un8jx8yo7z NOED isn't as game breaking as survivors make it out to be. Like many hex perks, it's only effective if the survivors neglect it. He's doesn't take himself so seriously all the time and is such a humble dude. This video was legit hilarious, the survivors played great, Otz's face at the end was beautiful. The title is perfect and it's just so funny I actually clapped at the end from the twist. Great content, Otz.
I main Nemesis and I usually just use perks that fit the killer or are fun with certain killers, like for Nemesis I would run enduring, spirit fury, light Bourne, and bamboozle. Sometimes I would switch out bamboozle for mad grit because its funny. That shit is so fun during a chase though most of my matches end with in 7 or 10 minutes but I'm having fun so I don't care.
Pretty short matches mine last usually 15-25 mins. But when I tunnel or get gen rushed or survivors dc or kill themself on first hook then they end quicker. But usually those latter cases I play fairly and just more like try to farm bb and sometimes just team up with them. But for tunneling that I try to avoid but sometimes survivors safe in front of you without bt or I just want to use mori.
I personally never run Bamboozle with nemesis, mostly because you are one of the few killers that actually benefit from survivors commiting to vaults since you can hit them anyways (personally i love looping shack with him since the Tier 2 range of the tentacle has just the exact range to hit the window of the shack.
I can't believe Otz went up against survivors with Dead Hard in all four perk slots. I've never seen 16 Dead Hards in the end game loadout screen, but it's a good thing Otz brought a build to counter all 16 of them.
Dead hard is just a perk for a mistake made by the player , killers don't get a second chance unless it's devour hope or noed . Personally I don't even like noed
Another option is blood echo plague, also counters COH. If they cleanse they hurt themselves and if they don't well you have blood echo and combine it with thana. Last 2 perks are up to the player
I recently started playing with rotating exhaustion - would change my exhaustion perk every game for fun. Sometimes I run none. It makes my gameplay much more interesting imo (:
Yes I،ve been using Blood Echo on Legion since 2020 till now and its awesome in my 5 matchs I،ve only seen one or two deadhard been used this perk is really perfect on Legion who can injure survivors quickly
Dead Hard is to Killer Mains as NOED is to Survivor Mains. Both are the 3rd most used perks on the opposing side and yet the #1 most complained about. Lol Dead Hard is a perk that requires a survivor to be injured to even activate, gives them literally a 0.5 second speed boost and a fleeting window of invincibility in that actual half second. It is supposed to be high risk, high reward perk.
It´s only "high risk" if you are drunk, 80 years old with arthritis or just being plain bad...for everyone else its basically Press E to get a 2nd chance... To have to play around 4 of those pretty much every single match gets boring quickly, it is very rare if someone is not using that one. Also survivor have infinite boons, which is downright broken.
The point at the end are my thoughts exactly. You couldn't know whether or not they had deadhard, but because of BE you could just play like they didn't and thus exploited their weakness to your advantage. It's not like you lost a lot of time waiting for BE to be active, so it was definitely worth. You have said in the past, and I agree, that a lot of perks are strong because you have to assume they are there. You wait for DS, you try to avoid hitting the guy right out of the hook when they unhook in your TR, you avoid slugging so you don't get unbreakable outplayed, all of these things cause friction in your efficiency. Being able to play knowing those are not at play is huge.
It's okay Otz, in my heart they all had DH and you simply outmindgamed them like a true chad. "How do you ban an entire chat" cracked me up as well haha
Thanks for the amazing video!! Mad love for you for doing such good to the community. I'm using exhaust again instead of just bithcing about DH and not learning. This play right here 11:35 was confusing for me. Maybe if the UI showed the power struggle bigger so you can actually see and understand what happened it would make the world of a difference. Thanks again!!!!!!
@@inmate92 it’ll be complained about a week later….the issue isn’t the perk, it’s that it’s something that makes killing survivors ever so slightly harder. A prime example is boil over, a perk no killer complained about FOR YEARS, gets buffed to usefulness, gets used, gets complained about(mostly related to an issue with hooking on like 2 maps), l gets nerfed, is never used again, and we are back to square one of the meta not changing…. The devs literally cannot win.
Sure, you can remove dead hard, as soon as you remove nurse, nerf blight slightly, make spirit more fun, and make camping/tunneling less effective. Thanks :)
Deal but in trade the game is fundamentally changed to make SWFs less effective, and rebalance the game around the 4v1 to make Killers a proper power role.
Yeah delete Nurse, Bubba and then reworks maps to not be mostly survivor sided then literally every exhaustion perk could be deleted. Blight is cool though, you're just mad that you're getting caught holding W between loops with Iron Will.
@@thevomit5851 So many assumptions. I main blight, and guarantee I'm better than you with him. His addons just need reworked. Also, bubba is fun. Just camping isn't. Also, the fact you think most maps are survivor sided really tells how bad you really are at killer lmao. Probably weren't even a rank 1 killer before MMR.
@@drews8992 The majority of maps are survivor sided and you're just revealing your skill level when you say that they're not. I was rank 1 many times both sides before MMR but if you knew anything about DBD you would know that means nothing LOL.
I dont mind it for the most part. Although when my hatchet gets the sound and they just dead harded that can be annoying. The only real problem with dead hard is if they're a few meters away from a pallet or window every other situation is not hard to beat dh.
I was going through a hard time in real life and then a person who claimed that they were at my home to pick up my due taxes, I dead harded through them and looped them around town
Indeed, one might say that this perk can end up doing nothing and just waste a perk slot but just the fact that you can be confident is enough to be worth that perk slot.
I am a survivor main that hates dead hard and never uses it. I prefer sprint or Feng's perk over any other exhastion perks since i sometimes forget to use dead hard and with those perks i always remember i have them. My style of gameplay wouldn't change if dead hard dissapeared and tbh i actually want it gone myself =//
playing without exhaustion is so fun. challenges me more and i feel way more accomplished having won a chase/mindgame. (BT, IW, S-A, Windows) that being said baiting dead hard is like a free fifth perk
I just wanna say that I'm a killer main that has no beef with dead hard. I've always thought it was totally fine. Matter of fact, I think the only surv perk I'd say I have legit issue with is BT. Not cause I think it's broken or anything, but because it promotes sloppy play even worse than dead hard does. Like just cause you have BT doesn't mean you should actively unhook in the killers face or like less than 5 seconds after he leaves hook.
Honestly I quite like bt even as a killer main the only reason I don’t like dead hard is because I hit a survivor and they scream and bleed but don’t go down, but maybe they fixed that as it hasn’t happened in a while.
well then the problem isn't really BT it's people not knowing hot to use it i think BT should be there tho because of how often killers tunnel EVEN WITH BT i try to be extra careful when going for an unhook tho even with BT i wait for the killer to go away but eh sometimes you have to take the risk if the killer is not going away
Actual good point of KNOWING for a fact that you won't get dead harded. The fact that u must assume EVERY survivor has dh, untill proven otherwise is such a strain on the experience of killer.
Idk, maybe I'm weird, but I've never liked dead hard. I run builds I think are fun, like all boons (works sometimes), wiggle out, or locker stun. Also I don't really play Killer, so maybe that's why.
@@dandantsm6560 There's a few good reasons, namely people who have learned how to exploit it to do things it wasn't designed for. In design the concept is being able to take another hit whilst injured. Which is fine in concept. What frustrates people are the i-frames, hit validation shenanigans, and the "dash" forward. The i-frames because it completely counters smart plays by the killer. Like if you were looping a Trapper around shack, and they set up a trap by the pallet, setting up a fairly good situation for themselves... well no worries you can just press E, completely nullify that effort they made, and run off to another loop. Hit validation shenanigans because nobody likes getting their power/attacks eaten because of what is ultimately ping differences, it was a sloppy attempt at fixing the "exhausted on the ground" issue but in classical BHVR fashion it's just a bandaid fix that trades one frustration for another. And the dash forward is the big one for most players because if you have a survivor who knows how to use DH properly they won't just use it for the i-frames unless you force it, they'll use it for the _distance._ So they'll spend a minute or so looping you around one loop, get hit, DH away to another loop and now you're in a lose-lose because you either give up the chase and the guy goes and heals with CoH or any of the other healing methods so you just wasted your time, or you keep chasing him, get the down, but at the cost of 1-3 gens popping ultimately wasting your time. All because the Survivor has a functioning E key. It would be like if the Killers could equip a perk that after they hooked someone they could walk up to a gen, press E, and remove _all_ its progress (like PGTW on steroids), doesn't matter if it was at 10% or 95% the Killer pressed E therefore it's back a 0%.
@@dandantsm6560 It's not necessarily the power of dead hard that people dislike, it's the frustration and helplessness it makes you feel. Strong perks and killers are not an issue, it's perks and killers that that make you wish you weren't playing dbd.
The problem with dead hard is that unlike other exhaustion perks, it has 2 properties. Invicibility and Distance covering, while the other ones only cover distance, and then there's head on. Imo removing the invicibility would make ranged killers more effective and perks like Coup de Grace being more useful.
A twitch follower tells Otz that Dead Hards are crushing is soul in DbD and he proceeds to show a Perk that counters it and then plays a game where he not only showcases it, but manages to deny every single DH in the match.. If I were that guy my heart would be so warmed right now. Never change Otz!
I feel like dead hard is fine on normal skill level survivors but op on skilled survivors, be nice if you have to gain stacks from saving survivors and doing gens that let you dead hard because it is just a get out of jail free card.
@@kingdead3729 dead hard can be pressed at the right time to negate killer hits so it isn't wasted which is what it's primary use is. He's suggesting to change its use to a distance perk which tbh I think isn't that great since sprint burst is a distance perk.
The distance Dead Hard gives you is the entire problem, since a Survivor with more than 2 brain cells to rub together can and will use it to extend loops by making it to a pallet or window they shouldn't have been able to reach, and make it effectively a extra health state in a chase. If you're using it to negate hits, you likely won't make it much farther than the swing cooldown.
Dead Hard is actually the number one reason as to why I went out of my way to bring Exposed Perks/play Ghostface no matter what. Dead Hard's just way too oppressive and versatile; A single Dead Hard has the potential to take away so much time away from the Killer. Do I blame people for using it? No. With the way that most people fundamentally play DbD, Dead Hard's a necessary evil to simply have a chance to oppress the Killers who play like scumbags; Face-Campers and Tunnelers. BHVR seems to really lack the passion that's needed to fundamentally improve the game, and make it a less toxic experience between the two sides that play it. They'd rather add more paid DLC/cosmetics and introduce fifteen-thousand new bugs to the game. Priorities!
I take DS to punish tunnellers personally, never been much of a dead hard user tbh. I think Dead Hard should be deleted as a perk and then given to survivors base kit but only when playing against Nurse.
I heard a really interesting idea for dead hard, make the dash 2-3 times further but remove the invuln state. It would allow you to still dodge a lunge and give you an extra 3s or so to get to that pallet but no BS invuln states
That would probably make it stronger. One of the biggest reasons why dead hard is it gives you the extra distance you need to get a vault or a pallet drop. Giving the player more distance than they already get would probably be really bad. It would just mean they wouldn't have to make the killer whiff to get a fuck ton of distance. If they swing on this new dead hard it would get them even more distance than the current dead hard. Sounds really dumb. It sounds almost like the original sprint burst that way. And that perk was stronger than Dead hard.
@@colossaltitan3546 Whenever people complain about dead hard I always wonder what it would be like if every survivor ran other exhaustion perks. Mind gaming a survivor only for them to press e is way more annoying than them vaulting a window and you having to hold w for 10 seconds but both can be huge time wastes.
Hey Otz,i recently made an experiment myself. I ran 4 Perks nobody likes or runs anymore: -Balanced Landing -Botany Knowledge -Self Care -Bond Surely these Perks aren‘t bad,but they get outclassed by other things. After playing 5 games in a row with these builds,i still got tunneled 4 games and called „Noob“ or „Baby surv“ in all games. @@RottenHeretic i'd make it a dodge without giving you distance. The character could do a duck animation or something, and have an I-frame the same length as the current one, but couldnt gain distance. haha imagine not having all perks on legion and running blood echo and fear monger, hahahahaha loooser

Hello friends, today’s build is as follows:
Blood echo: when hooking a survivor, all other injured survivors suffer from hemorrhage and exhaustion for 60 seconds
Barbecue and chili: when hooking a survivor, gain a token. Each token grants you a 25% stackable bonus up to 100% bonus in bloodpoint earnings. After a survivor is hooked, the auras of all other survivors further than 40 meters from the hook are revealed to you for 4 seconds
Scourge hook: floods of rage: 4 random hooks in the trial are highlighted to the killer. When a survivors is removed from one of these hooks, the auras of all other survivors are revealed to the killer for 7 seconds
Scourge hook: pain resonance: 4 random hooks in the trial are highlighted to the killer. When a survivor is placed on one of these hooks, the generator with the most progress explodes, losing 15% of its progress and begins to regress. Any survivors working on this generator scream revealing their location
Stolen sketch book: reduces power gauge penalty when hitting a survivor with a basic attack when feral frenzy is not active
Legion pin: survivors who self mend from deep wound status effect suffer from broken for 60 seconds
thank you, i'm so out with killer perks and didn't feel like searching dbd wiki for hours lol
Chad
thanks for the work you do
2 small corrections: that build had the not buffed legion add-ons, so pin is with consecutive frenzy hits not self mend, and sketch book is increased duration by 2.5 seconds.
Blood echo has a cooldown of 60 seconds but the exhausted and Hemorrhage status effect only last 45 seconds
@@ginol1443 thanks friend. Yeah I wasn’t sure which ones to put so I just used the new ones
Another tip for playing against Dead Hard: When playing Wraith, you can tap M2 to bait out a dead hard since it makes a similar sound to M1.

F

Survivrs are 4/5ths of the playerbase, so BHVR values them more.
What kind of hateful messages do you get?
imagine being that scared of dh?
I dislike DH a lot, but I do feel like BT should be a normal game mechanic, just at like 3 seconds or so, just to make sure people can't get tunneled too hard and have a chance to escape
As a killer main, BT is a good, altruistic perk that protects the person getting off hook from being tunneled, I agree. I just wish less survivors used it 'offensively' where they just act like an angry hornet and start smashing into me to keep me from chasing the OTHER person and leaving them to go and survive. :(
But I also understand that's still not as bad as getting tunneled so I'm kinda there with you.
3 seconds of protection after getting off the hook is not going to stop actual tunneling killers sadly
@@Valor6 the only time I tunnel Is when they force bt. I'm walking past them and they really want to use their anti tunnel perk like that? Ok.
We could call it Kill Hard.
lunging? lol
@@Kenny-eu6nd lunging but a longer lunge
@@fart63 But the problem is not the 90% of perks, the problem is the meta perks, perks should never give you so much power, they should be a bonus, not such a big game changer
meh Dead Hard is also one of those perks that will do nothing for you after the killer knows it's there
If the killer knows they'll bait it out and then they'll just hit you with a lunge attack
having to respect if for a few seconds most of the time will do nothing for you and your team
but yeah it's sad that many times this game makes you feel like you NEED some meta perks to survive because everything else just sucks

Well then...I wonder what will he say if I miss 3 swings and unfortunately lose the game because of it..
They just want you to swing into their DH
This is also why I really enjoy perks and add-ons that apply exhaust, I honestly feel like artificially induced exhaust should be a bit more accessable like maybe every killer having one add-on that applies it. Because right now I think there's only a few that do get them.
I dont think there is any 1 killer perk that if it were removed, it wouldnt be game changing.
Survivor on the other hand. If DH were removed I think we would see a ton of people suddenly suck at the game.
The amount of "bully" squads would probably go down as well. They probably wouldn't feel as confident if DH was either removed or changed drastically.
NOED is the only killer perk that changes a game on its own. Almost every other perk you have to get yourself into a positive situation to benefit from it which is good. I think pain reso was a huge killer buff though if it was gone it'd make things easier for sure.

He's doesn't take himself so seriously all the time and is such a humble dude. This video was legit hilarious, the survivors played great, Otz's face at the end was beautiful. The title is perfect and it's just so funny I actually clapped at the end from the twist. Great content, Otz.
Fearmonger is nice too because it pauses the cooldown timer anytime they are on a gen.
If I wasn't facing dead hard almost every match I wouldn't have a problem with it
I can't believe Otz went up against survivors with Dead Hard in all four perk slots. I've never seen 16 Dead Hards in the end game loadout screen, but it's a good thing Otz brought a build to counter all 16 of them.
DbD if they removed MMR: *Thumbnail*
dead hard is literally one of the most fun perks to use as survivor. it allows you to play so differently. if it gets changed, that’s a player lost.
Dead hard is just a perk for a mistake made by the player , killers don't get a second chance unless it's devour hope or noed . Personally I don't even like noed

Moral of this video: Dead hard is only a state of mind
@Vap Pri get out of here
Dead Hard is to Killer Mains as NOED is to Survivor Mains. Both are the 3rd most used perks on the opposing side and yet the #1 most complained about. Lol
Dead Hard is a perk that requires a survivor to be injured to even activate, gives them literally a 0.5 second speed boost and a fleeting window of invincibility in that actual half second.
It's a 0 risk perk at a loop. Lose a mind game? No problem, just press E to make it to a pallet or window.
Well dead hard is gone
Otz predicted everything
It's okay Otz, in my heart they all had DH and you simply outmindgamed them like a true chad.

but i don't think it makes sense how people hate it so much
@@dandantsm6560 yeah. Personally I wouldn't say I hate it, but I just never used it that much.

I feel like dead hard is fine on normal skill level survivors but op on skilled survivors, be nice if you have to gain stacks from saving survivors and doing gens that let you dead hard because it is just a get out of jail free card.
I actually like this, it would promote altruism and make survs care about each other
This video is amazingly glorious. Especially that last minute.
Instead of dead hard being removed they should just increase the distance a little but not allow it to make u invincible to everything
what would be able to hit you
imo the distance is fine, making the distance longer will just make m1 killers more miserable.
But it is the distance that makes difficult for m1 killers
Best thumbnail ever.
The problem I've had is that I've been told to "just run the meta" when im losing. Guys, the meta hivemind can't win...
I always used blood Echo on Legion, it makes sense on them
Dead Hard is actually the number one reason as to why I went out of my way to bring Exposed Perks/play Ghostface no matter what.
Priorities!
@Vap Pri K.
It would allow you to still dodge a lunge and give you an extra 3s or so to get to that pallet but no BS invuln states
shitty idea
That would probably make it stronger. One of the biggest reasons why dead hard is it gives you the extra distance you need to get a vault or a pallet drop. Giving the player more distance than they already get would probably be really bad. It would just mean they wouldn't have to make the killer whiff to get a fuck ton of distance. If they swing on this new dead hard it would get them even more distance than the current dead hard. Sounds really dumb. It sounds almost like the original sprint burst that way. And that perk was stronger than Dead hard.
Jokes aside, dead hard really needs a rework.
Watch how lithe immediately becomes meta as soon as that (hypothetically) happens
@@colossaltitan3546 You say like it's not meta already.
Oh yeh but NOED is somehow justified…and the nurse and blight are somehow allowed…
@@jamesa2482 exactly, these people want Nurse and Blight to dominate every match.
Hey Otz,i recently made an experiment myself.
I ran 4 Perks nobody likes or runs anymore:
-Balanced Landing
-Botany Knowledge
-Self Care
-Bond
Surely these Perks aren‘t bad,but they get outclassed by other things.
After playing 5 games in a row with these builds,i still got tunneled 4 games and called „Noob“ or „Baby surv“ in all games.
So i asked them,if they wanted me to play again, but with DH and they all were silent immediatly.
(Btw. Every of these killers ean Noed.)
How CoH has been nerfed a second time yet dead hard has remained untouched blows my mind, sad :'(
how would you nerf it then?
@@RottenHeretic only thing I could think of is longer exhaustion so it can't be used as often
@@RottenHeretic i'd make it a dodge without giving you distance. The character could do a duck animation or something, and have an I-frame the same length as the current one, but couldnt gain distance. Then it would actually be a choice between using a distance exhaustion perk or a dodge exhaustion perk.
@@Zyrose_Kun then all exhaustion perks would be nerfed
@@RottenHeretic Remove the I-frames. Would still be amazing in loops, but it isn’t a “get to a pallet free card” when the killer is right next to you.
This is what happens when you don't communicate with the paid actors.
