It was so funny 😂 watching JJ. This firearm has more names than most people in the south. And you know we like to add some long winded names to our kids!
The Sig Sauer 226 XFive Legion is an incredible shooter! Can’t say enough great things about it. I hope this video helps you if you’re considering getting one, or at the very least entertained you for a few moments. Have a great day all! Thanks for watching!
Howdy, on this particular firearm they have added a thumb ledge on the takedown leaver for your support or non dominant thumb to rest comfortably and made the thumb safety wide enough for your dominant or strong thumb to rest on. If you use a thumbs forward hand grip, You apply pressure to these thumb ledges to assist in minimizing recoil. They are very comfortable and work very well. The expansion chamber on the front, gas pedals/ thumb ledges and the weight of the firearm, make this a very flat shooter. I hope I’ve explained this well enough and not confused you. Thank you for watching and reaching out.
What an awesome rundown on the 226. I love your home range setup! I can only shoot out to 49 yards on mine but it gets the job done for my pistols. I will say you've got a keeper in that woman because at no point in my 24 years of marriage has my wife went behind my back and bought a $2K+ gun 🤣She's an absolute unicorn🦄 I also love that your bringing your daughter into the review and she gives her opinion as well. I find that hand size and grip strength can play a big factor in how a gun shoots/feels in different peoples hands. You've got a great little family there brother! Now get those cows out of the way so you can shoot !!! 🤣🤣
I for sure have a keeper. I Put a lot of years into developing that unicorn (23) 🦄 Hahaha. We enjoy responsible gun fun and training as a family. My daughter joined the service and fortunately for us got stationed a few hours from the house. I knew she’d get good training but not enough so the home range developed and training intensified. We’ve had more fun developing this RUclips channel and sharing our experiences with others. We hit a new milestone in distance yesterday and the video will come out 1/7/25. Stay tuned, it was an exciting day for sure.
@@LivinLifeontheR5 I've invested a lot in mine as well. Mostly her not wanting to kill me for asking to buy expensive 2011s 😎I'm sure your wife will get a kick out of my unicorn comment🤣 She'll probably say I told you you a have it good with me 😂 I'm retired active duty Air Force. What branch is your daughter in? I can't wait to see how far out you guys shot it. These handguns are more accurate than people think given you know what your doing. Keep it up brother.
Thank you for your service! My daughter is in the Air Force / Security Forces. My wife did say that exact comment about “I told you”. Lol and then followed up with “I’m going to print that comment out and put it on the bathroom mirror so I don’t forget it. We have a few kiddos in college still but once everyone is done that’ll open the door up for a few more 2011s. Fingers crossed. I’ll keep tuning in to your channel and to see what you recommend.
In the video I’m using a holster that fit the Sig 320 and I used a heat gun to form it to the 226. I’ve had a difficult time finding a good holster for it until recently. Just got one from Holster Dude holsterdude.com and it’s perfect. You can get it in different retention levels, belt attachment styles, colors, etc. The owner is named Matt and the customer service was fantastic. I’m going to make a review of the holster and it’ll be out in a few weeks. If you stop by his site, Tell him “LivinLifeOnTheR5” sent you. Thanks for watching
You and I think the same way. I did reach out to SIG and they have a promo that you can order "free of charge" a carry bag and the coin. I would have preferred it was in the box, or even better the box be made of something different than the standard mumbo jumbo. Thank you for watching and taking time to comment.
@@brentlakinthank you for watching and taking time to comment! Your question is a very good one. If money wasn’t a factor and both gun were laying side by side and which ever one I grabbed was mine to have…….. I’d choose the XC. I absolutely love that firearm and carry it everyday. Now with that said, I have spent a lot of time shooting both and the 226 X5 is a very very close second choice and either will make you very happy. What about you? Which would you pick?
@ you won’t regret your decision. I cannot say enough good things about the Staccato. But that darn Sig 226 X5 is a very close second. Can’t beat all the firearm comes with for the price. Check out the Staccato XC review we did. We’ve also been pushing its distance accuracy limits and just reached 700yrds consistently. When we weather gets alittle better we are headed to the farm to try 1200yrds.
I have both of this guns 226 X5 Legion & XC. Can’t go wrong with either one but XC is better in every way. Love all your videos man.

That’s an awesome firearm! Nice pick JJ.

Sig Sauer xFive Legion…. That’s a mouth full. JJ, you had me cracking up trying to say all that! That Red haired daughter is a good shooter!

You figure for the price you’d get a few bells and whistle in the box. And maybe an ambi gas pedal.

If you could only choose one, would you go with the Staccato XC or the P226 XFIVE Legion?
