Yeah buddy! This man has some of the best old school stock racing,! I searched around for a half an hour trying to find some good dirt track racing. I love the old real stock cars. This is it! That's some good racing!!
that guy in the yellow car is a good racer. his car was a little banged up at the end and he had and flat tire and didn't even care, he was still out there kicking ass.
Dirt racing is more about torque and hooking up/handling on shorter tracks. The 3 wheel motion is mostly setup but yeah he's probably 400-450hp. Depends on rules and such for engine. Also depends on who you know at some tracks!
That 47 is the same number for the car I built with Tim Clark for his Dad, Bud. It handles very much like that one. Kenny drove it after his dad passed away.
What kind of rules are these guys running with? Do these things run 4-link suspensions? Why does the 74 have plastic over his passenger window but nobody else does? I have so many questions.
Depends on setup for track length. So final drive ratio. Example if you run a 1to1 drive gear, which is common 3rd gear in 3spd or 4th in 4spd or drive in pg or th350, then it's the rear end gear like say 6.20 gear. Final drive is 6.20. You calculated your trans gear ratios with your ring and pinion gear ratios to get final drive. Longer track needs taller final drive. Shorter track needs lower final drive.
Wrong. The Street Stock class requires a GM OEM stock frame or a Manufactured Metric Frame. Shocks must be mounted in the factory location. Etc....the only reason they look "Off Set" is due to the body panels being mounted on the door bars rather than angle support rails that petrude further away from the door bars to fill out the sides
They're not running offset chassis, the rules require a full perimeter frame but doesn't say anything about running a rail straight from the front clip at the bend to the front of the rear clip at the kick up. We were doing it to the Chevelle's back when these metric chassis cars were showroom new. But what do you think they're doing with the Camaro and Nova chassis that just have a straight rail front clip but allow frame connectors to make them "safer"?
Left front least important tire in dirt racing, but if you didn't drive over the 31s right rear and ruin his night you wouldn't have torn up your shit like that. Idk that dude but I lost a little respect for him as soon as that happened. Was no need for it at all with a fast car like that. Kinda glad he didn't win. Hopefully he just made a mistake but he seemed to have pretty good car control until his tire went down any how. 31 couldn't buy a break after that it seems.
Neither,Oregon track rules, believe it or not all of the Oregon track differ in street stock class rules slightly in some way.The Iron Giant Series(Washington and Oregon and one race in N.Cal.)was created in 2017 to simplify things to create a series that allows for a lot of cars to participate.Higher car counts and a $1000 to win purse.$100 to start A-Main.
That's cool, your not too far out.I really can't quote you any rules except for their is a weight minimum and if you have a crate motor you get a weight break.Although I can point you in the right direction to the Iron Giant fb page."Road To The Iron Giant Street Stock Series" Fb page. They have a website that you has the rules package on there. If you have an IMCA Stock Car,Sunset speedway(near Portland,Oregon is having about 18 race nights this year. I have a Fb page named NW Fans & Racers page.I post about mainly street stock and Stock Car news in the NW.

@@crizioclips Cottage grove speedway street stock aka a 86 monte carlo built gutted with a crate 604 motor
@@drogonight5672 thanks! This is the first car that got me into cars
Love the old white Chevy Nova, the 2nd gen. Camaro, not so much.😁
Thanks for posting 👍 👏
Yeah love that car. Always fun when he brings it out.
nothing like the street stocks we ran in the late 70s.
Looks like street stock with late model power under the hood. Drivin the wheels off it
That 47 has lots and lots of power to be able to outrun the high side coming out of turn 2 like that.
He passed teck tore him down

At this point 47 was having the time of his life out there.
The engines sound great, love the old cars racing' flat out.

Yellow 47 car got the weights set and springs
In 1980 there were known as late models.
Number 47is just awesome strong on the inside corner
That 47 is driving like he doesn’t want to breathe tomorrow! F’ing DIG IT.
that Yellow dirt kart is the bomb😎😎💥💣💣
Awesome Racing

#47 Kyle Yeack
That's a real southern dirt track! I would love to run it.
This track is in cottage Grove Oregon.. it's sticky clay..
47 running like a late model
I was hoping to see a '69 Dodge Charger with the #01
He got protested by BLM
0:17 the classic cars Hutson hornet dirt track turn
G body shuffle lol
These are some crazzy street stocks more like a super stock with a street stock pure stock body haha
What is the track length? I build a 1/7 a mile on the back side of my farm, to practice running my streetstock
Perhaps .25 mile.
That 47 and 74 we’re driving around the track like late models too bad the 47 couldn’t pull the win
why does the body lean on the right front like that you cant do that in a pavement car so how do they do it
I feel like the driver has to get dizzy as hell on a track this small
On one side of the 47 car it looks like 99
#47 is kick ass...
W-WHAT? KANSEI DORIFTO?
its thunder stock where my parents are but they run 602 crate engines not so stock but they recommend a 355 chevy for anyone to get in
What kind of rules are these guys running with? Do these things run 4-link suspensions? Why does the 74 have plastic over his passenger window but nobody else does? I have so many questions.
the plastic just keeps dirt off ya, i have no idea how they are getting them to hook up so hard there’s no way it’s stock 4 link
That car is 3 wheeling like a low rider with switches
These cars haul ass. See some LM on this track once.
what are the motor rules for street stocks here ?
Number 42 playing dirt oval first time in iRacing :D
Yeehaw 47.go go
What gear are they running in them things? Would have to guess somewhere in the 7 's
5.11's
Most everyone runs 620s or 633s, but there are some 600s and 650s as well

Street stock, that's funny.
That's racing
47 and 74 both have offset chassis and all the others do not. I say that's not right for the other drivers in that class.
What makes you think that they are offset?
Wrong. The Street Stock class requires a GM OEM stock frame or a Manufactured Metric Frame.

Some very sticky dirt up there. Nothing like Talladega Short Track.
Who needs that driver's side front tire anyhow?
47 went on 2 wheels like 20 times

3 Bar rear suspension
Actually a factory metric chassis is a 4 link basically with 2 upprer and 2 lower arms.

i would lay money on #47 up against the best modified driver they got...
That would be a good bet, he IS one of the best modified drivers we got lol
Who wins on a flat tire 🤣🤣🤣 this guy does
Not street stock that’s factory stock
74 handles better
4 cars can't do 4 laps lol
Stupid...Should ban all tube frames and rear ends like that,,Stock rear ends, links and chassis only.
That thing is straight up just drifting in a circle
