    You are in my country, Italy, I know this place. The owner was an entrepreneur in various fields, sadly passed away. There is a wife with a child or more children and there is some problem with the inheritance.

      @@kevinswigart7866 Hello, unfortunately as I have already written the Lord has passed away, in addition to the love of painting as shown in the video, he was an entrepreneur in different fields, one you can understand from the video, in fact there are different types of doors and a carpentry. The partner seems to have gone away with the offspring after his departure, it is thought to be due to inheritance problems with other family members. The locals didn't know that in the meantime the property was being visited by urbex. I can't tell you more, except that they vandalized a lot.

    There's a part of me that loves watching videos like this, but another part hates seeing all the beauty just left to rot away. So many people would love to have saved so many pieces within these homes along with the property itself. It's such a shame that it wasn't passed on to someone who would keep it up and preserve it. Even if it wasn't a place suitable to rehab I'd love to see people salvage what they can from them rather than just letting it get destroyed. So many places have beautiful woodwork, mantles and other hand crafted accents that just aren't made anymore and should be salvaged whenever possible. Just my opinion though. It just makes me sad to see so much waste.

      Yes, it's so very sad. To much history left behind it seems like the county these houses are in would collect items for a local museum showing their past history..love the videos but they make me very sad..Great Job Adam, stay safe.from the US.

    The fact that there was a burglar gate on the basement door tells me that the wine cellar is/was worth a lot of money. You also would want to keep the kids and locals out of it while you were gone.

      I think people who lived in those abandoned places can’t disappear suddenly just like that living all their belongings not been able to finish even their meals and drinks, there must be more to it…they must’ve been involved in messy government secret duties and after their role is finished , all the family is taken and destroyed without warnings.Period. Other ways no one can live their house and belongings, they didn’t disappear in the air

    You seem to be able to find places like this in Europe much more then you would in other parts of the world. Maybe the families still own these places but don't have the heart to part with them. Half the time the places are not vandalized though you can tell they have been gone through by visitors. This was by far one of the coolest places you guys have toured! Thanks for the ride!

    Abandoned houses that still have stuff inside them always make me uneasy. I understand when the owners were very old, descendants probably didn't want to deal with the house or the stuff inside, or they were too far away and couldn't travel to do inventory. But houses where there were young people and children that look like they just stepped out to go grocery shopping and then just never came back is so unnerving. Did they have relatives? What happened? So many questions and no answers.

    Ts 42:05, because I'm an artist and so jealous of this room omg! That portrait happens to be of Hans Holbein the Younger. While was famous for paintings such as Henry the VIII. He also spent many years off and on in England from 1526 to 1543. I did research on him and a term paper in 1982, also researched and a 2nd term paper on Leonardo Davinci. And TS 43:34 is a portrait of Heroic David. One of Michaelangelo's sculptures. ❤

    Absolutely gorgeous spaces. The way everything’s left I wonder if they were killed in an accident of some sort? Perhaps the whole family in a car or a plane crash. With no other living relatives to really do anything with their stuff? Especially with it being so relatively recent. Very sad to see such beautiful things just abandoned.

    It just makes me want to cry when I see these videos the personal belongings... wondering what happened to the family that lived here. WHY was it abandoned and why didnt they take their clothing, art, wine, kids toys ect with them? I know each time I see these Im going to be sad wondering but I cant help but watch them anyway in amazement.

    That's crazy that people would just up and just leave all those personal things..especially the wines.. which at rhosnpoint are valuable. The older aged wines..unbelievable..there's got to be $10,000 in wine alone

    Can we talk about the urn that's on the shelf near the snooker table? That has to be someone's ashes. Who leaves that behind? ETA: Saw another urn in the art studio.

    Hi Dave, great explore. These paintings were amazing. Such a shame it's all left. The typewriter was strange, it's the first time I've seen a w at the bottom and a z up at the top. It usuall says Qwerty along the top. I wonder where the family went, it's strange. Loved it. Hope Mark is ok. X😁

    One thing I mentioned is that before and trying to wrap my brain around.....no dust, spider webs, everything is clean. Somebody has to be staying there. 2008, today 2023. Things would be covered in layers of dust.

    • @laynicarter
      @laynicarter Год назад +2

      The lack of fine dust particles like we're used to seeing in our own homes speaks more to the absence of people than the presence of any. No skin cells or hair being shed, that also means no dust mites or shedding clothing fibers, no tiny pieces of food or make-up or detergents. No electricity to create static. No ash particulates from fires. No dirty shoes bringing in pollen or other plant material & no one walking around to stir it up, so even with exposed windows or doors it's minimal. No sawdust or drywall floating around from repairs. We have quite the impact on our surroundings.
      There was grit & debris, mostly from things decaying & just falling. I saw some webs as well but I think the lack of insects had more to do with the season & how cold it was than anything. The way everything is basically frozen in time & place though, you're right that we can't know exactly when it happened or who has been in & out of there. It is absolutely eerie to see, even more so to think people can just vanish.

    Explorer: guys this place has been ransacked and look at all the furniture falling apart and the dying plants....
