I’ve had iOS 18 since June and it is a significant upgrade. I am also enjoying the upgrade to the AirPod Pro 2. Therefore, this year is a better software upgrade than hardware upgrade for Apple. I will not be buying the iPhone 16 unless I see it in the store and it “wow’s” me. But the Apple Event did not move me to purchase any of the new products.

Just put a new battery in it over the summer, and I see no point in doing anything until the next one comes out hopefully, next year.
I think the iPhone 16 looks great, but I am going to stick with my 15 Pro Max with one terabyte. I think it’s the coolest phone I’ve had in a long time. The only thing that would make me upgrade is if they came out with a much thinner phone like they did with the M4 iPad
I have had the AirPods Pro 2 since they came out, waiting on the next Pro series. For me, it seems the tips on the Pro series would have a better seal and better overall noise cancellation. Maybe not a big deal, I just fly a decent amount and love the best noise cancellation for flights. The AirPods Pro 2 work well, nut I actually prefer using Bose Ultra Quitecomfort II for flights as they have better noise cancellation and then I use the AirPod Pro’s for about every other need. My hope is Apple uses better backnoise reduction for calls in the next generation, background noise and sounds is one piece of feedback I get when using them for phone calls. So if they improve an already good noise cancellation and improve the audio for calls, the next Pro’s will be an outstanding set of earbuds.

It can be tempting to go ahead and get the 16, but my 14 does everything I need, so I will look and then convince myself to wait.

Nothing I saw to make me move away from my IPhone 15 Pro Max to a 16. The changes to the phones have become such small increments. Prior to my 15, I had an 11, and it was preforming as good as the day I bought it, so why buy a new phone every year? I'm also getting tired of tech companies talking about things that are months out, mostly the AI stuff. Too much hype for things they don't have yet.

I expect the Magic Keyboard and Magic Mouse to have USB-C connection by the October event. I kind of doubt they'll have much more coming, so it might actually just be a press release. If there really is an event, I think we might potentially see a new Mac Mini, Apple TV, or the surprise of an Apple Ring finally showing up.

You release products when you can launch them (usually same day or within a week). It is also free marketing when you get do multiple events with media coverage. They need to build up stock to be able to fulfill orders. This is nothing new, Apple has released Macs in October many, many times.
I think it will be good, especially since we have Apple Intelligence software coming. I upgraded from the 12 Pro Max, and got a sweet deal from my carrier on trade-in. the phone will cost me only about $5/month. If you were upgrading from anything in the 14 or 15 Pro series, it makes less sense. But I like the idea of a faster chipset, more RAM, and a longer-lasting battery. Better cameras are a nice touch, but for me it's a business phone, so that's secondary. Enjoy your phone.
With the 11 Pro Max, I probably will check the 16 Pro out on display at my local Apple Store to confirm in person if I really want to upgrade. I would like to. If not the 16 probably will get a 15 pro off Amazon for slightly cheaper.

This year the Same Watch has a Black color that looks like cheap paint. Same Airpods Pro 2. Same Airpods Max headphones just new colors. Upgrading the wife’s Apple Watch 4 to Apple Watch 10 (it’s time) by trading in my ultra (without a band) to Apple (11.57 a month/12 months) And I’m getting the ultra 2 in black with the new Milanese band because I love the ultra, and I want the ruggedness. And I wished it came in black from day 1. I don’t upgrade watches often and it’s something I wear so color actually matters to me. That being said I went with Best Buy 24 months and got 50 off for Best Buy member. Comes to 38.42 a month. So just under 50 dollars a month for the two watches on year 1 and then I can pay 50 for the ultra on year 2 and pay it off early.
I want an iPhone slim, I actually went back to my 11pro after my 14pro got cracked. Wayyy better being thin and camera is fine, no oversized camera that weighs a ton and forsnt sit flush on a surface. So I won’t be wasting money on a 15/16/17 etc
I am already disapointed with the 15 having too many side buttons. The 16 is a horrible phone already, adding TWO MORE BUTTONS TO A PHONE ALREADY HAVING TOO MANY BUTTONS! I can't even pick up my 15 without this problem. If for what ever reason I have to upgrade in the next year, I will be switching to android!
My problem is the reviewers missed a full HALF of the presentation. They totally abandoned Apple's game information and the twice as fast ray tracing attached to a processor with the speed of the M1 processor. In a battery powered portable device. So Apple brings out a battery powered Mac mini with far better graphics but in the iPhone form factor. Add in the massive layoffs of game programmers who need something non-Microsoft to do, and this is working out to be a perfect storm. Crickets from the RUclips crew.

Upgrading the wife’s Apple Watch 4 to Apple Watch 10 (it’s time) by trading in my ultra (without a band) to Apple (11.57 a month/12 months)
And I’m getting the ultra 2 in black with the new Milanese band because I love the ultra, and I want the ruggedness. And I wished it came in black from day 1. I don’t upgrade watches often and it’s something I wear so color actually matters to me.
That being said I went with Best Buy 24 months and got 50 off for Best Buy member. Comes to 38.42 a month. So just under 50 dollars a month for the two watches on year 1 and then I can pay 50 for the ultra on year 2 and pay it off early.
If it’s not another mini I don’t care
I am happy with any Apple IPhone 15,16,17,18,19 etc…just us give me a damn battery that lasts !!
I want an iPhone slim, I actually went back to my 11pro after my 14pro got cracked. Wayyy better being thin and camera is fine, no oversized camera that weighs a ton and forsnt sit flush on a surface. So I won’t be wasting money on a 15/16/17 etc
I am already disapointed with the 15 having too many side buttons. The 16 is a horrible phone already, adding TWO MORE BUTTONS TO A PHONE ALREADY HAVING TOO MANY BUTTONS! I can't even pick up my 15 without this problem. If for what ever reason I have to upgrade in the next year, I will be switching to android!
FYI I still use a 7 Plus 8 years later

My problem is the reviewers missed a full HALF of the presentation. They totally abandoned Apple's game information and the twice as fast ray tracing attached to a processor with the speed of the M1 processor. In a battery powered portable device. So Apple brings out a battery powered Mac mini with far better graphics but in the iPhone form factor. Add in the massive layoffs of game programmers who need something non-Microsoft to do, and this is working out to be a perfect storm. Crickets from the RUclips crew.

In fact this was probably the first time in history where he didn't trot out his predictable overused superlative..."This is Apple's biggest/best/fastest (insert whatever feature you like) ever!" Conclusion: More end to end grandiose promises but... as usual, nothing to see here!

I might be waiting for a whole year for the iPhone 7 because I heard that there’s going to be a new iPhone 7 flip and at the screen when it’s fully flipped will be 8.7 inches if I’m not mistaken if that’s the case that’s a whole new iPad right there now if that’s the case for blind or visually impaired user just like me that be game changer for me. I wouldn’t have to use my iPad Air. It the new flip should be iPhone air flip that would be game changer game changer. Also I’m going to get the new watch 10 I haven’t chosen which one but they say that It’s a lot more bigger than the watch ultra too although I did see the black I watch ultra too and that’s a 49 MM decisions decisions but that Matt Black I watch series 10 that’s beautiful but then there’s a rose gold again decisions decisions
