For $250, it's surprising how much cutting and assembling is needed.
Can't wait to get mine! Just wish you guys would machine the four peg holes into every top, and maybe just plug them or just leave them as is. That way you could easily move hoods around without the template being available.
Thanks for your order. The reason that we don't is that its on the opposite side of the CNC and, not everyone buys the hoods but, we do include a great kit with everything you need including the drill bits and templates 🙂
I kinda with you made versions with solid tops to make stacking easier and to make the stack shorter/let you stack more than two.
We do have our SES series that have solid tops, without the serious design flaws that come from an outdated breeder box design. This playlist (ruclips.net/p/PL1y9w8TPIcVniz65Pb-mesLP85zM6wb6-) explains more about our designs and why we won't manufacture bad designs that can be extremely dangerous for the reptiles kept this way.
Not sure why you pre drill two hole and not all four in the bottom for stacking.
You can but 2 is all that is needed to prevent the top from moving.
