  • This arrogant store owner was too quick to judge and kick out a “homeless” customer. Little did she know that she dismissed the wrong client and her mistake might end up costing more than just her products. Remember that there is more to a person than their appearance: compassion and kindness go a long way.

      @Aphrael76 Год назад

Actually nowadays with most people using either a credit or debit card in their daily life for purchases versus carrying around a wad of cash, its had something of an odd reversal effect on retail & fraud crime. Most financial theft and fraud these days is being committed electronically through identity theft which makes the individual person vulnerable if they aren't careful about their personal info etc. While at the same time in store theft and retail crime has gone down due to the fact that most if not all stores keep very little cash on the premises, with the majority of their sales & banking deposits being done electronically. I figured this out while watching a video about Cannabis dispensaries in the States where weed has been legalized and that they are now experiencing high rates of crime and have become a heat score for criminals because Big Banking either won't or can't except electronic banking deposits from them due to the fact that weed is still classed as schedule one narcotic at the federal level. So essentially by limiting the Cannabis industry on how they can securely handle their finances they are making it so that you have pockets of areas where one particular type of retail industry is being targeted for the fact they are guaranteed to have large sums of cold hard cash on site to rob.

This happened to me in a cosmetic store in Seattle. Because I was stopping in after worke I wasn't dressed like money. I requested a makeover, and she laughed and said that it cost money. They're not free. I said I was aware of that, but I would like to try a new look and buy some bolder colors. She laughed, looked over at her coworker who smirked and said, "we don't have anyone available who can help... you."
When I tell you it was glorious to walk by her sporting a gorgeous new makeup look and a very full bag of goodies from their nearest cosmetic rival... I was petty af. I asked my friend loudly as we passed her. "Do they work on commission here?" Then left knowing full well they just had a pay reduction and got put on commission recently. Her face...it's petty, but it still makes me laugh remembering.

The other company is known for their snobby employees, and I guess they were dismayed about getting their pay lowered and put on commission which is why they didn't want to waste time with me because I didn't look like I would spend enough to be worth their effort. Hopefully they learned something.

These videos say a lot, and tell the way the world truly is! Unfortunately, in the real world, people can watch things like this, but still carry on being cold, insulting, condescending, ignorant, etc..... Some people are too pathetic to change!

I was homeless and helped people who like me were homeless. My friends came to depend on me for the little things, food, if they couldn't get to the give-a-ways and medicine if they were sick. Because I had experience in the medical field. While all this was going on, I kept up helping others in their needs. And it was a joy to help them. I planted seeds of love in their hearts because some of them, had never felt in their lives and I was all too glad to share it.

You know what would have been BRUTALLY IRONIC? If she HAD CALLED THE COPS on that lady as "Karens" often do and the police RECOGNIZED her because she is such an important part of the community and the "Karen" lady sees the officers go up to her and give her a big HUG instead of arresting her or telling her to leave the store.

Should've figured this video wouldn't sit right with me based on the title. I don't buy the "redemption" of the store owner or the supposed compassion of the businessman. The latter seemed like he truly does look down on the homeless and only turned around once he found out that the "homeless woman" Justine insulted was a rich influencer. As for Justine, I feel like she only apologized and made amends because she was caught and she'll likely just go back to being a nasty person once she's gotten what she wants from her partnership with Nora.
But one point in the businessman's favor: in reality, he IS right about how most social media influencers aren't philanthropists looking to change the world for the better. They're just people looking to make money.

Unless you're born with a silver spoon in your mouth, you have to had started from somewhere. Don't look down on someone who's where you probably were at one point in your life. You may not have never been homeless but there's a good chance you may have been in need. If someone have helped you out; pay it forward and help the next person in line. Be a blessing, not a curse.

Unfortunately we are or have been all part of this hypocrisy in life. It's easy to judge people by their appearance rather than judging someone by who the person is. However, that is 100% wrong and people need to see more of the inside than the outside of the person.

  • @leahdamron9856

You know I believe each and every one of us has in someway judged someone else whether intentional or not. When you find that you are doing this , stop and think about yourself and remember you don’t know what that person may be going through and also the most important thing is the Bible says “ Judge not, lest you be judged “. God bless each and every one of you😊

I really don't understand people like the store manager. I was homeless for years. In my city, there are store owners who don't want the homeless near their stores. It made me ashamed of who I was, and even though I'm not on the streets anymore, I won't go near those stores. I have my own apartment now, and everything. But seeing what the manager did brought back memories. Good acting though.

However, after my boyfriend was spit in the face by a homeless man he was talking to nicely. I think we need to be careful with all people. The amount of money you have or don't have doesn't speak tou your character.

Be KIND AND RESPECTFUL to others you never know what got them their or what happened to them ok it’s unfortunate that they’re are ppl out in the industry that treat ppl so rudely. So try to change that ok they don’t deserve it . God Bless each and everyone of you

For the most part clerks have been very kind to me.
However I went into a thrift store run by the Salvation Army.
I couldn't read the sales slip and asked the sales clerk where my discount was credited. She started to yell at me. I apologized for upsetting her and went to the store manager to get her to explain the sales slip to me. When the manager found out what was going on she got very up set over the clerk's behavior. The clerk shouted in front of every one, "You people are always trying to get something for nothing. She didn't Herr me say I was having trouble understanding the sales slip.
The manager wanted to give me the merchandise for free. I insisted on paying and asked her to be kind to the clerk and explain to her how to treat customers.
