My mom died in April of this year and every time I hear this it at night reminds me of her, just something about the singer brings this sorrow feeling at the night sky of this game. Especially how so many people died this year alone. Its something I needed to calm my nerves of losing someone that won't be here anymore.

It was late at night and I had downloaded the game recently. I plug my earphones in to get the best experience for the first play through. Little did I know I listened to this OST for over 20 minutes straight because how great it was. After that the game flash banged me into a door.

My time with Genshin was brief, but due to my rhythm I almost always had thid screen when I played.
I always liked when people sing and hum, it soothed my mind. The rare moments when I felt truly calm. I always dreamed that one day I'll have a spouse who does it...

god this game. it genuinely helped me through some of my darkest days, just... exploring the game was so calming by itself. killing monsters relieved some of my pent up anger because i could finally direct it at something without hurting anything. the scenery is so beautiful, and makes me wish i lived in the world of teyvat.

When Genshin Impact first came out, the big comparison I heard was "Breath of the Wild but mobile". I didn't pay it any mind back then because I thought it was strictly a mobile game, and feared I wouldn't have the storage capacity to play it.
I finally downloaded the game about a year ago on my computer. Played it for a bit, enjoyed it, figured I'd eventually come back to it but never found the time.
I moved into a new place this January. Brought my computer along to hook it up so I'd have something to do while waiting for a mattress frame, and just - played for a few hours, explored the world, did a few wishes, fell in love with the game for a second time, then stopped playing to look at other games.
I finally came back to Tevyat a week ago, because I hadn't forgotten just how much fun it was to just - take in the world. Go at your own pace, open a few chests, get some materials. Appreciate the journey.
it’s your first time playing the game . you follow paimon around and you go to the statue of the seven . you see a huge silhouette of a great dragon shadow through the trees and see him later in the woods with a bard. you then meet the outrider of the nights of favonious and you are introduced to mondstadt. no whaling, no idea how to use resin or what wishes were, no hardcore grinding , exploring dragonspine for the first time. just pure memories. i miss mondstadt so much
It actually hits different going back to the spot where you start the game initially, just standing on that beach with lvl 90 characters and golden maxed artifacts looking over the ocean in the distance seeing the tree from inazuma radiating a lush blue and wondering how time flew by so fast

I remember when I was just first opening the game. I was so excited but I was stuck on the login screen so the excitement really lasted a very long time. I never really knew about any games (Genshin is my very first game, tbh) so I just took my time to walk around the map. My mind is stuck to remembering this song and the Night at Windrise. It was the most beautiful thing in my stressful college life. Just walking down a quiet place albeit, not real but away from responsibilities. It's my quiet place.
It must've been a wild experience having genshin as your first game

Because of Fontaine, I had to leave the game (I was playing on the phone), and listening to this song now, 4 months after I left the game, I realized how dear this world had become to me. How many different stories happened to me in this game, how much time I spent on it, and how many of these, one can talk endlessly.

it gives me a very good inner peace, I study in the morning and work in the afternoon, a lot of tests and work at school, annoying clients at work, I came home very stressed and exhausted and this "music" helps me a lot to relax, luckily today It's Friday, I don't know if I could handle another day of school and work

Man, I can't believe it's almost the one year anniversary since the game came out. I didn't know about genshin till my college roommate told me about a new anime like game that just dropped that day and we both checked it out. I remember downloading the game for the first time on the website and being blown away by the beautiful opening scene and first look at the gameplay. I've been playing the game since and I still have so much to do. The OST's are so relaxing to listen to I love this game so much. It's come a long way and we aren't even halfway done yet, so much story left to uncover and many questions left to be answered.
I stopped playing this game 2 years ago, after spending like 2 years on it... this opening screen bring tears to my eyes.

Man, the nostalgia already! I remember playing this religiously every day after work during lockdown. At the weekends I'd be up until 4 in the morning playing this! I'd sit at the menu screen after a session and just take in this song. Hearing this makes me want to pick it up again.

5 years ago i used to login every night to play world co-ops with my cousin. Had a lot of fun bombing those hilichurl camps with Klee and Diluc and setting everything on fire. Couldn't forget this theme since it reminds me of those times.

Out of the three versions of the intro theme, this one hits the hardest. It has a sense of longing and nostalgia that our traveller feels for the olden days spent with the other twin drifting through space and exploring the vast expanse beyond the skies of Teyvat.
