    This is the content that true footballers want to see Matt! I remember before you, there was no one showing the true side of football. This is the content that I was always searching for when I found you at 3k subs. I wanted to see what pros do Everyday to improve, I wanted to see how they lived their lives so I can learn from them and train like them. If it wasn’t for you I wouldn’t have gotten into nutrition sooner. This is by far the best football channel for true footballers.

      I totally agree with this man, I was in the same boat! At one point it seemed impossible to even get a glimpse into a pro players life and truly understand what it takes and how you can do that to get to that level. I don’t feel like we’re all the way there but the insights we get into professional football is so awesome nowadays man!

    QnA: Hi Matt, my question for the continuous qna is, as it’s lockdown in my country, would it be worth Getting up at 5/6 in the morning to get a run in or a workout in or even a training session early? I used to wake up at 6am and workout but I found I couldn’t get enough sleep, so I now get up at 7 and get my training in. However it’s difficult with schoolwork and I often have barely any free time as I have to fit my training and workouts in around school. I won’t get up really early when I’m back training and playing games as I want to prioritise sleep, but as it’s lockdown, would it be worth getting up earlier and training? Cheers.
    Ps. Like the comment if you don’t mind so he’ll see it 🙃

    • @agnessP8087
      @agnessP8087 3 года назад +1

      Bro I get what you mean with the whole trying to fit in school and training. When lockdown started I started to get up early as 5 to 6am to be out training by myself around 6:30-7am. I find it does help bc when you get back home around maybe 9/10am by the time you’ve showered and eaten etc you’ll be ready to start school work before Midday (however that does only work while on school holidays. Bc yh when you have online lessons at 8:30am it’s kinda impossible to fit a training session before that)

    • @joeyleonardo7486
      @joeyleonardo7486 3 года назад +1

      focus on the most important things: health, then school, then football. make sure you're getting enough sleep, make sure you have enough time for school, then fit in your training sessions in between. you have to know your priorities, life is about balance

    I’m happy that your one of the only soccer players on RUclips that just gives a straight up answer. Can’t stand when I hear other RUclipsrs talk about many things to be a pro, when it’s simple it just depends if you want it or not. Been one of your first subscribers since day 1 (literally no joke) and I can tell anyone who’s new to this channel, Matt is no bs he just speaks facts and blesses us with an inside to be a pro. My advice to players who want to be a pro, stop listening to people who haven’t made it and give all this advice that just over complicates the idea of being a professional soccer player. The simple the better, and that’s what Matt just clarified at the end of the video 💪

In the end of last December I was invited to play on a sunday league of my town and also to be a coach in a soccer academy. Your work ethic is exceptional. You are great as a person and as an athlete. The lack of training at a younger age (i mean 6-12 years old) is the reason you are not playing at 1st division right now. I am really impressed about the amount of work you put in. But the answers are inside you. A lot of players are easily to be found that are workers inside the court. But football is not only running, passing and do the right thing. Football is inspiration, taking risks, let you character in the field and most of all have fun. I see you are tight at your games. You need to adapt a certain philosophy. You play defense? Are you offensive? You play by the line? You like to cut inside? Are you a dripler? Why don't you score? How many short passes, shots on target, long distance passes, long cuts do you make per game? Do you like defense? Do you see yourself as a protagonist in a match? I have been in the same situation as you, many years ago. I believe in you because i've been watching you for 3 years now, and i see nothing else but great ethic and good vibes. You still have 3-5 good years of playing footbal. I believe the only thing that's missing from your game is inspiration inside the court. But the real challenge for you will be when you retire and become a coach (i believe you will make this step). I believe that will be the job that makes you prosper and become really great. You have all the attributes and meet the requirements. Please take my opinion as a friend. I have no intention of making you angry. On the contrary.

    Matt Q&A when you hang up the boots which would be more appealing to you become a coach & work your way up to the pro level or become an agent?
